Thanks for another great video! Given your expertise on these type of videos, would it be possible you guys talk about 1960: the making of the president? I can't find any good tutorial or review video content.
@@LegendaryTactics that is great to hear! I've just realized it's only fair to become a patron before I ask for anything, so I'll do that today. In terms of the content, a tutorial on how to play would be best as I've just purchased the game. I can see it looks similar in many ways to TS but simpler, which will definitely help me get the hand of it. Anyway, I digress. Thank you!
To some extent, yes. The only thing I would say is that initially, there is a lot of iconography that might be tough at the beginning, but once understood, it would work fine. So I would recommend that you don't attempt to learn it together; you learn it first, play a solo game or two first to get it down and then teach the spouse or kids. That would be the smoothest path.
My own major complaint is how unbalanced the game is. Stonemeier doesn't normally release where there are tracks that feels like its impossible to do well in and civilizations that offer almost no benefits whereas some give insane benefits.
Great review. Thoughtfully done and clearly expressed.
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!

Yes, that is on the production schedule! What kind of content would you like to see first?

Would you say that this is a good game to introduce to less boardgamery spouses or kids, as an introductory civ game?

Yes, I can agree with that! Sometimes that can be ok when letting new players have the best powers, but otherwise....
Thank You.
You're welcome!! Thanks for watching!
