- The late Chuck (1942-2014) didn't have a huge output of tunes, but during his stint with the Playboy label he had his most commercial success. Oh, this is a RANDOM B-SIDE, and served as the flip for two of his singles: 1975's "Cheatin' Again" and 1977's "Cowboy Lemonade" (neither of which charted). Honestly, this is a winner of a tune that should have been an A-side. Have a great Thanksgiving, everyone!
Chuck Price Great Music
Don't know if Mickey Gilley released this on a B side of a 45...Like this song...Very good...Saw a comment about Wayne Kemp very good Country artist...Love your C&W posts
country music that's is Country Music....Thanks
I noticed "W Kemp" as one of the names on the song-writing credits for this tune and this could only refer to the legendary Wayne Kemp. That should gaurantee that the tune would be of a high standard and indeed it is. Chuck does an excellent job on it.
Love 💕
reminds a lot of moe bandy.
Great song. I have a request for a song. It's a John Wesley Ryles song that was released in 1983 or 1984 (Wikipedia has it listed as 1982 but I know that it was released a year or two after because I heard it on the radio during 1983 or 1984 ) called "Just Once" which peaked at #80. It's a version of James Ingram's #17 hit from 1981. It was on here at one time or another but they took it away. Hope you have it since I like the original version and John Wesley Ryles' version.
I tried to find that in my collection and I must not have it, sorry :(
