    I still have my patch, uniform, and belts from when I was in the Kick Drugs Out of America program which later turned into Kickstart. This program is truly amazing and can even be life changing.

    I'm not a kickstart kid student and I didn't say the affirmation along with the video Andrew Middleton but I have been doing taekwondo for thirty- three years I asked at five years old after watching walker texas ranger then started my first class at eight years old. Now I'm a second dan black belt.

      You obviously weren't around when his first wife took him to the cleaners and found out he had a love child from an affair he had in between the birth of their two sons, Mike and Eric. The second part was in his autobiography.

      @@barrettokarate They we’re already divorced when CN found out he had a daughter! He never denied it, he was pretty young when that occurred! Nobody is perfect, including you!

      It’s unrealistic. Problem is it is ignoring economic status as oppose to having nothing better to do. When you’re 16 years old living in a broken home and you see someone down the streets with a nice car and clothes and shoes of course you’re going to be curious how he does it and want to copy it. Why not give these people jobs and show them hard work pays off better than drugs?

    This martial art is great for developing self confidence and personal responsibility in kids. For self defence purposes it's about a good as a packet of toilet paper.

    ProjectFlashlight612 Wow, you totally missed the message. The point of this program is to not just teach self-defense, but to give them confidence, discipline, and will likely help them with other things in life.

    The Covenant episode. This episode was dedicated to Chuck Norris's best friend's son and the victims who were killed in a drive-by shooting.

      This would been a great episode for Blake Foster, he didn't even get to use his martial arts training in The Children of Halloween.

    Do all Korean styles address the instructor as Sir, Maám etc? Unlike Japanese when they use Sensei (teacher( soke etc?

      I've been to three schools not kickstart Chuck Norris motivated me to go by me watching walker texas ranger first one I used master and mr., second one shian and sensei in ct, and last third one the one I'm in now sir and maam in ohio.

    • @barrettokarate
      @barrettokarate 3 роки тому

      It depends on the school. Some, especially if the instructor is Korean use Korean titles when addressing instructors, seniors, etc. Norris was never big on using foreign terms with a few exceptions. My instructor got his black belt from Norris in the 1970s and trained under some of the most senior guys in the organization and it was mainly just English. Norris was known for letting students call him Chuck.
