2013 Nissan Altima vs Maxima 0-60 MPH Mashup Review

- ( www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Nissan Altima and the new 2013 Nissan Maxima are two family sedans cut from the same cloth. Of course the Maxima is Nissan's top of the line sedan while the Nissan Altima slots right below the Maxima in both price and performance...or at least so we thought until we tested both cars in another fun and informative TFLcar Mashup Review. There's of course no doubt that the Maxima is the more expensive of the two Nissan sedans. It also can be had with the more powerful V6 but what about size and performance and perhaps more importantly which car is the better driver. Check out this video comparison to find out which Nissan sedan is really the top dog.
I just bought me a 2012 SV Maxima with the sports package. Man, that car is AWESOME!!!!
rdskn4eva it's a hell of a car, I have the 14 Sv with tech package..
I am looking to buy one as well !
80" Reach a maxima looks so boring
80" Reach not even a sports car
I don't own either of these cars, but I know this is not a fair comparison. 90% of Altimas have the 4 cylinder option, and NONE of the same amenities as the Maxima. The Altima almost always has cloth seats, no heated steering wheel, no paddle shifters, etc. If you compare the everyday Altima to the everyday Maxima...the Maxima wins every time.
Thank you
The 3.5 SL Has all that.
+WAandCASirens yes, but what's annoying is that these guys are supposedly comparing the average Altima to the average Maxima. 90% of Altimas have a 4 cylinder, cloth seats, and none of these features. Only if you pay MUCH more, can you get those features
Because most people want a CHEAP Model not a Expensive one.
+WAandCASirens exactly. Which means they will get the cheap Altima. Which will have a 4 cylinder and none of these features.
The maxima does come with paddle shifters, with the sports package. This all seems biased.
It is biased. I have a 2011 Max SV with paddle shifters
+Danny41 not biased, just stupid
+dan428 Actually they are bias.
They’re not biased he specifically said “does your car come with paddle shifters?” And he said no he never said it wasn’t offered 🙄
Agreed I was just about to post that same thing and I saw your post I'm highly bothered by this video idk why since we all know everything is bullshit lol!!
Actually the CVT doesn't hamper the acceleration of either car. However, having owned an 09 maxima I can say that there is a bit of an art to getting max performance. Simply flooring it gives slower times. Giving it about 3/4 throttle up to about 35 then fully applying the throttle is fastest. I have a video on my phone of my old maxima doing 0-60 in 5.5sec. These guys are doing it wrong
I also own a maxima 2014 maxima. The only “modification” I’ve done to it is a k&n air intake and mine will do 60 in 5 flat.
@Blitz Ace exactly because the throttle response is way more responsive on the old 2003 maxima the 2003 maxima will dust the 2014 maxima
@@cedricmiller4370 lmfao yes right. Auto vs auto nope.
@@occckid123 lol why you say no? Have you driven the 2003 3.5 maxima
@@cedricmiller4370 yes and the maxima will beat it 0-60 and up to 120 there ole maxima will win on top end because of the speed limiter but a 2013 Altima cvt will smoke a 2003 maxime from 0-130
i'll stay with my maxima, 7th gen.. better than the altima
Agreed. I love my 06 altima se-r, but since getting my 7th gen, putting the lip, tinting the windows...i am very happy .
Nope
Owning both a 2012 Maxima and a 2013 Altima (The max is my daily driver and the alti is the wife's) I would agree with you. I liked the Altimas (drove an 08 for a little while) until I bought my max. The max is just all around better IMO. The wife loves the Altima though but we've been talking about getting rid of it in favor of a newer Q50.
I have a Maxima 7th gen I love it. Theses guys are just going for what cheaper. All around Maxima is way better Altima is like the slower little brother.
@@gabeleon1067 have you ever beaten a v6 Altima with your 7th gen Maxima?
Love the car you have. Don't love the car you don't have. Be happy!
This will save you money.$$$$
I'm talking to myself. I have Altima😀
From another dude who couldn't budget the maxima...I love my 15 Altima hahah
I have a sentra it cost 45000 dollars
Mike Ndikumasabo u want a cookie?
I test drove both, bought the Altima. Absolutely no regrets. I love it. Get the 3.5L you will not regret it.
Agree with you sir
But don't get the 2013.
bruh the maxima is better all the way around better audio better for performance its got paddle shifters nobody knows how to drive a nisssan the right way because ik my 2014 maxima hit 140+ and it was stock engine
@@ITACHIPURE you didn’t watch the video the maxima doesn’t have paddle shifters the Altima does 😂😂
@@King-kw1momy 2012 has paddles
I got a 2014 max now
The maxima runs the 0-60 in 5.8 secs sooo why do ppl think the altima is faster??
My 2008 altima coupe 3.5 manual doing 5.3sec bone stock....
+Evinc Gokkaya No Altima manual does 5.3 stock...stop lying.
That's just like the Accord fans saying that a stock Accord V6 with manual can go below 5.5s.
This is a mile above Sea level. NA Cars lose about 1 second accelerating to 60 every mile they go up in elevation. Neither of them will even get below 7 seconds at this elevation
I think 2012 was the year they had similar engines and it was just bells and whistles that made the difference.
back then it was my goal to buy a 2013 Altima well let me tell you something mission accomplished .
Literally just got one yesterday! Very satisfying to drive.
I’ve had mine for just over a week, and I absolutely LOVE it!
just bought my maxima
That's the point of real world testing...we drive them the way people really drive cars....with more than one person.
What are you talking about ?!!
I have Maxima 2011 & it has a paddle shifters !
Mine is 2011 and doesn’t have the paddles
Mine has paddle shifters too we have the plat
Paddle shifters was an option
I'm not sure if you tried the manual gear shifting, but you can turn traction control off and rev the engine a lot more so you get to 60 in 3rd. By default, the car slows down the RPM to avoid wheel spin so that's why it's slower. :P It also tried to keep RPMs around 2-3k after first gear even if you floor it so you need traction control off and just shift up yourself for more fun.
awesome review--other than neither guy is funny and they waste too much time trying to be, but failing. And Nathan is a highly skilled human if he can eye ball the 1 inch difference in length between the cars.
I just traded my 2015 3.5 Altima for a 2014 Maxima, the Maxima is a far superior car. I do think the Altima would of beat it 0-60, but barely.
The Altima you could definitely tell was the work car sedan. I did lose a little money on the deal, should of just bought the Maxima to begin with but thought they were basically the same car... Wrong!
stupidstt I agree. I traded my 2013 3.5 SV Altima for a new 2014 Maxima, and they are TOTALLY different cars. The Altima was a good car for me, but the Maxima is far superior. It handles better, it rides better, the brakes are better, the interior is better, etc...I had always thought they was very similar, but after about one block of a test drive, my mind was changed.
Anthony Pratscher so which one is faster ? Cause he just said the Altima would win a 0-60
The Maxima looks like if Infiniti made a new sedan. The interior screams: "I'm Luxury!" The Altima is sporty on the outside but it's just not as well as the Maxima. Maxima rides all day!
You guys made me so happy! I just finished watching the 0 to 60 Chevy Impala at sea level go 7.9 seconds with only 1 person in the car! I own a 2013 Nissan Altima 3.5 and you guys tested it against the Maxima and at 1 mile above sea level with both of you in the car with less horsepower 270.... went 7.3. Seconds. And about 7,000 cheaper! You see I have a good friend who just purchased a brand new fully loaded Chevy Impala and he is bragging about how fast the car is, I told him I would spank him with my Japanese v6 but he insisted that his car was faster. of course I will be forwarding him these two videos. you guys are the best! thank you so much for proving my point. subscriber for life! 👍
Are you one of these guys? ..lol..these guys don't know what they are talking about. .they r comparing a basic maxima. .
altima is so quiet that u cant feel youre going 80 kmh
Thanks Jesse, your comment is very much appreciated!
The dirty dad jokes are real with these two
My dad gave it to me and he bought it slightly used in 04'! Since then the only real major issues was the starter, catalytic converters, and the o2 sensors. The car has 107,500 miles so to me that's pretty good. Car has never failed on us except for the one time the starter died, but that was the only time in almost 10 years it failed us, but the car has been amazing and I love it. :)
These two are wrong on many things. The Maxima comes with paddle shifters in the S and SV model, as does the Altima. While the Maxima they tested here has a pretty plain exterior, the SV with the spoiler and upgraded 19" wheels is a lot nicer than the Altima. The difference between the exteriors is noticeable right away, regardless if you "know what to look for" or not. The Altima has a "cheap" and "cramped" feel to it.
The Maxima grips better and does accelerate faster. I'm not sure what type of moron would put a car in first gear and gas it until it hits 60, but if you were to accurately test these two cars 0-60 with proper shifting the Maxima would win.
The Maxima also comes with a 9 speaker Bose setup featuring 1 6.5" subwoofer in each door, 3 speakers in the dash and 2 speakers in the rear deck. CD, MP3, composite input, and a hard drive for saving CDs in included. The navigation package lets you play DVDs, but either option features the back up camera.
A fully loaded Maxima SV costs $39,000. There's nothing wrong with sport mode or the cvt. This is a "4 door sports car" as noted by the sticker in the rear windows and the transmission acts as it should for this type of vehicle. It is just as loud as any cvt, not better or worse.
As far as the comments saying a Maxima should sell in the high $20s-low $30s, you are the typical person that has no idea what a Maxima is capable of until you drive it. You think for $30,000 you can get a 3 series BMW? They start at $32,750. Have fun with a rear wheel drive, 180hp turbo charged 4 cylinder, "8 speed shiftable automatic". Which is also smaller in length, width and height and will have no premium options at that base level.
The Nissan Maxima is the best car you can buy for under $40,000 as far as luxury and performance. Any other car is going to compromise somewhere.
Brian Durkovic This right here!!! Nice breakdown, they missed a lot in this review. Oh and also you get panoramic sunroof!
Love my sv. Would take it over a german shitbox any day
"Oh and also you get panoramic sunroof!" - Not the limited edition with the sport package. At least for 2012. I have a 2012 fully loaded with everything except the tech package meaning the only thing I don't have is a 10 GB HDD (I believe I have a 2 GB but never have used it), navigation or builtin Bluetooth audio streaming. I installed the Bose Bluetooth Adapter to go with the Bose sound system though. I freaking LOOOOVE my max though. Had it for 4 years now and still enjoy driving it as if I had gotten it this year.
Well said. They just floored it from the start. It's best to go 1/2 way that floor it at 30 for best results.
Spot on. In 2013 though the Maxima was 200kg heavier than the Altima apparently, which is a significant difference. It often depends on a car model year also.
I still have a Max fr 26 yrs ago, has a 3.0L V6 engine. It's a sleeper, light and quick off the line everytime!
For the record, the Altima is faster than the Maxima in the v6 engine size.
Faster quicker to 60 than the Maxima made before 2016.
It’s not. I don’t think they used premium gas in the maxima
Actually the 2015 Altima 2.5Sv will beat an 3.5 maxima because the maxima is heavier with the weight so either way the Altima will beat it off rip.
@@demariusparamore2673 that's true from a complete stop even the 4cylinder 2.5 will pull away from maxima 3.5 up til 60 because the maxima is heavy and has acceleration lag and hesitation til after 60 but the Altima doesn't have any acceleration hesitation it just takes off. And the v6 altima will pull away bus lengths from a complete stop seen it done
Great question and we'll answer it in tomorrow's video.
A little F.Y.I the price of a vehicle has nothing todo with its proformance!
I've owned a 2012 Altima 3.5. SR and just bought a 2013 Maxima 2013. Love them both.
Which one felt faster
My 2010 Maxima in sport mode kills the 2013 Altima.
I’ve kept up real well with a Nissan Maxima in my 2012 2.5🤣🤣😬
tuner, exhaust, intake these after market upgrades should be a must for these cars
Oh and my cousin has an 2013 Altima that I drive everyday... To be honest I hate driving it. The cvt sounds raggedy ass hell, like it rattles. The cvt is much better on the Max. I test drove a 2012 SV Premium and fell in love!!!
???sound
+عبداله احمدی یار its like a rattle sound
JuWan Harris do you even know what cvt is or stands for?
+Melissa Merrick Continuous Variosly Transmission. It's trash on the 4 cyl. If you're coming for me, I advise you to have a seat
Wow, great review!! When I read the title of the video, I instantly thought the maxima was going to beat the Altima EVERYWHERE. I really liked the idea of measuring the decibals, I've never seen that done before, and you should keep doing it. Great reviews!
Maxima is better built and feels like it.
Altima feels more cheaper quality wise.
So true. I find it funny that the Altima tend to have all sorts of problems while the Maxima remains solid with very few issues.
Marlon Johnson Exactly. For years Altimas had engine issues after owning them for about 5 or 6 years
nooooo, the altima has one of the most reliable power plants on the planet ..
Mark G no it don't. My sister has a 2013 and it sucks in gas. The gas burns fast as hell. The gas mileage glitches like hell. I had filled it up and it gave me 314 mi. Drove two miles down the road it read 296 mi. Straight trash
+JuWan Harris ive has a 93,99&07 altima.... you cant base the reliability of a engine off of one car. if you do a little research you will find that nissan customers have very few issues with the engines.....
Daewoo, I use to create & place their mid-west regional newspaper advertising during 1995-97. Weird flash back moment. Thanks for the nissan mash-up.
they didn't get the sport package on the maxima
The max has a heavy body
I thought this was a pretty fair review, right up until the end. I've had my 2013 3.5 SL for 3 weeks now, and I drive to work in Chicago traffic. It's already been through all types of weather, speeds, and traffic conditions, and I have had NO issues with the handling on this car. Neither did the reviewers from Edmunds, Car and Driver, and Road and Track. They all listed the handling as good to very good, and so do I. Maybe the reviewer is used to driving sports cars, who knows.
Aerodynamic makes a difference.
You guys make a really cool n funny video about the most beautiful cars that ever existed, i do really liked the way you make look the difference between both of them. By the way i own a 2013 Nissan Altima SL Storm Blue with Black Interiors.
did you drive the maxima in Sport mode ? 😉
This review needs to be shown to all Nissan sales people in every dealership.
Nissan pretty much fucked up every maxima design after the original 3.5L in the 5th gen
Naw, the 7th gen is fucking sexy. Took a long time to grow on me, but after a month of owning mine, and modifying it a bit its one of my favorite body styles from nissan in a long time. It is agressive looking, but then again only certain colors. White, smoke, and black can look amazing. The 6th gen was just horrible, and the 8th bleh. Bucktooth beaver coming at you. All ive ever owned is nissans and datsuns, and ive owned almost every model lol.
I was talking to the a lady who has no idea about cars. She test drove a g37 and said the interior was too tight. She got in the maxima and immediately said "now this has room". She brought a maxima!
I love my Maxima :) They're hands down better than the Altimas.
Not in 0-60 space and gas mileage and price
ok whatever you say
+Heather Nicholson oh and you can use regular fuel in the altima v6 while the maxima uses premium. I like the maxima 2 though. just pointing a few things out :)
occckid123 you don't have to use premium in almost any car. just short of a high end sports cars. they will run just fine on regular gas
+Petchyalater I wouldn't dare put regular fuel in a car recommends premium fuel why would I want less performance? there's a reason for it it doesn't say anything about using regular fuel for maximum efficiency and power but the ultimate is the regular fuel
it has "Drive Sport" mode that simulates gear shifting. I find it fun to drive with this when my kids are not in the car. It is really impressive how smooth it shifts when out of sport mode though. So you get the option, MPG is better in normal mode.
my maxima has paddle shifters.
Mine does too idk where that wrong information is coming from
+Ayokunle Olujobi only if you get the sport package of the Maxima come with paddle shifters
Ayokunle Olujobi
I was just finna say I’ve saw some with pattle shifters
There is a simulated shift mode for people who want to feel shifts. If you slide the shifter to the left and don't manually select a "gear", it will automatically enter the simulated shift mode. If you do select a "gear" by bumping the shifter forward or back, the transmission will hold that "gear" until you "bump" it again.
I ♥ my altima (:
The maxima and altima have been going back and forth with each other for size and performance since 2002.
these guys ARE JUST WRONG!
I traded oldie Lexus 300 for 2009 Maxima. Much sportier. 290 hp
over 200. Love it. At 14 yrs old, still a Beauty. and a beast!
Why is it holding on to one gear for so long?
***** Thanks, i never knew about those gears. they seem efficient.
The CVT in Nissans are crap. There are class action lawsuit against Nissan all the time for them. They are getting better in the last few years, but count on having to replace them (@ $4000 a piece) in 60,000 to 100,000 miles.
Because they failed to shift it properly...
@@VenturiLife No, just because the life span of the CVT Transmission some people experience aren't too long. I just bought a 2014 Nissan Maxima just turned 30,000 Miles and so far my Transmission seems fine. Just hard to get used to it. Doesn't act like a Normal Automatic Transmission that shifts gears.
Listening to those engines screaming at redline throughout the 0-60 runs with that horrendous CVT must've been one of the most aggravating things I've ever watched/listened to. Gear shifts NOW
But my brother's 2012 Maxima has paddle shifters?
Paddle shifters comes with the sport package
+frank carranza yes you are correct, only sport package comes with paddle shifters.
So does mines
Hopefully the new maxima comes with some sort of traditional automatic or dual clutch system.CVT's are great for fuel efficiency but they just sound horrible when you floor it...
I'm a Nissan fan........ Drove 1 Toyota 2 fiat 1 Renault 3 Honda 1 suzuki...... And 2 Nissan....... Belive me if u buy used...... Best bang for buck.......
Emphasis on the BANG!!
i rarely use the fob, except to open the trunk.
if you're valet parking, since the fob is part of the 'smart key system', then that's when it comes in handy.
I like the cvt whats the big fucking deal.
The CAT Doesn't shift.
***** How do?
absolutely not true
I agree, All the ANTI CVT people are wrong. they are just silly automotive journalists that only want to review mustangs and BMW/s (all fast sports cars). They have nothing educated to say about CVT's because they only like driving cars at tracks and not in real life traffic conditions.
My wife has a 2012 maxima... I have a 2006 maxima. Mine will will dust hers as far as drag racing, BUT hers is WAY better as far as ride and comfort. We got her the top of the line model...back up camera, tilt down rear view mirrors, heated AND cooled seats and many other features make it an awesome car. BTW my 95 maxima lasted me 17 years and got better mpg than the newer ones. It was lighter and got over 30 mpg. Mine now get 24 mpg, hers gets 25 mpg. Love maximas
These guys are terrible
I have the Altima and I love it
I have an Altima and while a decent car, never leaves me stranded, I'll take a Maxima or Avalon next time around.
40k for front wheel drive nissan?? get infiniti.
infinity maintenace more expensive and spare parts
Gotta love that Daiwu t-shirt man.
Lmao when you don’t even know how to accelerate in an automatic 😂😂😂
When you say it's an automatic and it's a cvt🤣
The 2013 Maxima SV with Premium package has an MSRP around $40k and does NOT come with paddle shifters. (I just checked with Nissan). When they did the 0-60 you CAN see the moon roof (the shade is closed). They also put a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen stating that their tests are done at 1 mile above sea level. This altitude greatly reduces the density of the air moving into the engine -- thus reducing the actual output power and increasing a vehicle's 0-60 time.
Maxima's are better for those who dont know
Thanks for the heads up! I have heard of that to! And is going to be based of the Nissan Teana outside the us market! I think the best maximas were the 1995-2003! Were so reliable! :C Well things change overtime i guess! I have a infiniti i30 1999(1999 maxima luxury) and 260k+ miles! next car is going to be 2003 maxima! 6spd manual real sport sedan :)
I love my 2012 7th gen max, my mother in law has the 2013 altima and it sounds like shit while driving it and it's slow as hell. it's falling apart the door handles are coming off and the ac has went out twice. it was new when they drove it off the lot and she only use's it to go to work and home. POS
dudes.. great video. wish I knew about you guys earlier. hopefully you have an Infinity M35 video out there or in the works
My dad owns a 2014 maxima and he has blown out some mustangs and challengers, although rather slower ones. It is definitely faster
So the v6 mustangs and challengers?
Skoorb Brooks I don't actually know what engine they had, but just another note, they were right up behind him when they started off but as we got up into the higher speeds we were deffinatly accelerating faster than them
I have a 2012 maxima and I have beat a v6 altima older and the brand new. Raced a challenger r/t off the line all the way to 80mph and beat it off the line. Also have raced a 2012 V6 Camaro on the highway 55 in idaho from about 50 up to 120 mph and my max was faster ...I over took him on every straight. Raced a V6 mustang and won Raced a Pontiac gxp solstice and won. new maximas are dead even from 60 mph up to 135 with WRX sti. I raced one the first month I had my max and the guy in the wrx gave me a thumbs up at 130 ish. I paid 36k for my maxima brand new with all options in 2013. The ones that cost 40k should have a trunk spoiler and paddle shifters 19 inch wheels or the premium model with the double sunroof (this ugly red one as tested was way over priced) SV Sport is 38 to 41k. these guys suck at testing and pricing cars.
+IEATPLANETS YESIDO let me add something on the track the Maxima will destroy any American junk. For drag raced especially when you put the maxima in Ds mode it a hole different car
well..i have a maxima sv. .it's a fast car...but not a racing car. .i always say that. .can easily smoke old Mustang gt..09,08..
i have an 09 Max with sport pkg and it can do way better than 7.8. i really like the cvt btw, its smooth.
the maxima would beat the altima anyday
Jason Kuklinski Nope
As a subscriber, I watch the majority of your videos. I'm starting to really feel your pain with these comments about the 0-60 times....
Anyway, keep up the great work guys. Unfortunately not everyone will understand what elevation does to engine power output.
Altima is better
I would say that to if I had one
I love the Altima, but I would chose the Maxima too.
Maxima's are better the Altima's are ugly!
Zach Cook Altima is definitely not ugly . Maxima looks better for sure but Altima still looks very nice
Wow, in their testing, the Q50 3.7 got 6.98s with 1 driver, and GS350 ran 7.39s with 1 driver. Here, an average start, 2 adults, and still 7.39s!
great video guys! i have the maxima so when the new altima came out i was PISSED for obvious reason...looks the same, speed matches, bigger and the MAXIMA is suppose to be their flag ship car! btw great personalities keeps ppl engaged! you guys need your own show on TLC!
Always making maxima and altima similar. Ever since the 2002 came out. And then 2004 maxima. I always liked maxima better. But now I own an 08 altima. Great cars
When they tested the Altima it was in sport mode why not put it in sport mode for the maxima.
I bought a new 2014 NIssan Maxima and it is AMAZING! I had a 2014 Altima on a lease but I didn't like it so I switched to the Maxima. I'm 6' 4'' and I can sit in the back of the Maxima and there is plenty of room! No paddle shifters though. Nissan made A LOT of improvements in one year to the Maxima and it handles better, it feels better, and in my opinion, it feels much better than the Altima.
I’m 10 years late to this video but I just can’t believe this was accurate. I don’t know I have a 2012 maxima at 170k miles and still can get a under 6 second 0-60.

As a Maxima driver I'd like to point out that the car does 0-60 faster in Drive Sport than it does in Drive. You should post updated times.
thnks guys! i was eyeing both of them. helped me decide.
Was this done in normal drive or Ds and I sure hope your using premium, at least for the Maxima.
They were a mile above sea level. Believe me, that makes a huge difference.
I own a 2013 Nissan maxima and it's equip with sport mode and shifting pedals . Like all good racers out there " it's not about the car , it's about the drive " therefore I will be glad to pick up dust on top of a altima .
Question to Nathan & Roman: You guys create a lot of car reviews, and personally I find very interesting and enjoy and enjoyable to watch, however I was curious about something. What are your dream cars that you both want to realistically buy for yourself in the future? And What cars do you currently own/drive daily.
Sincerely your trusted and excited subscriber, William. (:
That rubber band effect on the CVT though its so annoying i still like the old traditional automatic transmission
my 2010 maxima is a v6 with paddle shifters and a lot more than the 2013. im really confused here. but then again i have done so much to upgrade my max that it beats out both of my friends’ 350z’s which are both tuned
Here is your 0-60 winner, The Alllllltima Warrior
Ah no!
It's a CVT Transmission. It doesn't shift. Instead of shifting it changes ratios and when you floor the car it will just go to it's highest ratio which is redline.
supposedly CVT takes advantage of the part of powerband that you're engine is most efficient in...
When you think about what the new Altima is, it makes you really wonder how big of a leap the new Maxima will be. I agree on the lease-it. When you see the new Maxima you will be wanting out of the old one.
Nathan only wears t-shirts from car companies that are now dead or have left the U.S. market.
Perfect review & great Nissan.
For under $40k is an understatement. I got a 2012 in July with 10 miles on it...MSRP of $41800 for $33k I could have gotten a base Maxima for the mid $20ks.
Nice Daewoo shirt. Didn't even know they had those :P I like the Maxima although its a bit on the pricey side, but then again its a nice flagship model.
And we can also confirm that you don't understand what testing a car 1 mile above sea level does to horsepower and 0-60 times.
If the intent is to compare the Max to Altima OK I agree. I live at Jersey shore,we are at essentially sea level.I know what I get in my Altima and it is faster than the time posted by Roman. That's all. Overall though the car is just fine and their reporting is accurate. Thanks for you comments,Good discussion.
this was a good review but i feel that it wasnt a great comparison. the altima is a midsize car and the max is a full size. the altima is lighter than the max in weight. that's why the altima beat the max when you guys did the 0-60. overall its a great review guys :)
I have an 2003 altima so happy my parents gave it to me
