@@BadlandIndustries mine didn't come with floor mats, so probably that. I also want to motorize the rear window - if I have time this week, I want to start modeling it up in CAD and see what I come up with.
@BadlandIndustries yeah if you use an acme thread or similar, you can't (easily) back-drive it, so that would act as the lock. Plus the window is so small, there is little concern about someone gaining entry to the cabin if they did somehow break the actuator.

Great video, thank you for the recommendations!!. Besides the Dome Lights, where else in the truck you used the LED bulbs you linked in the video description?
Nice video. Thank for sharing. Couple questions and a comment… -Where did you find the dash track? Been looking all over for one of those and can’t seem to find it. -What was the 3rd brake light? Asking, because I installed one and want to know if I should be watching out for a leak. -Lastly, I’d say no to the BoV. Personally, I think it would get annoying. Thanks! Jeff
I made the dash track and vent mount. 3rd brake light doesnt leak into the cab but I had moisture inside of it recently. If you say no to the BOV spacer you'll hate my video being uploaded right now lol
First Mod on my ‘24 Denali was LASFIT LED BULBS, Interior, Reverse, License Plate, 3rd Brake and Cargo Lamp, PUTCO 3 function tailgate plug and play light bar, Vanish Tonneau Cover. Still want to do the tail lights but not sure what number bulb they are. And yes Blow Off valve install and review
I'm doin alot of factory integration stereo stuff with my canyon using a dsp and aftermarket speakers and subs, im curious to learn more on any leveling/lift kits.. im doin some small exterior mods like a floating roof look using vinyl wrap from vivid with ther high gloss pianno black like andre did from TFL on his colorado i think it adds a subtle enhancement to the black and white theme im going for he did a vid on his and i liked it more after i did mine
For your dash cam / rear view mirror. Where did you mount your rear facing camera? Did you utilize any of the HD vision cameras or did you mount the provided one somewhere?
I have a video on the bov spacer. The under hood light was literally a 5min install and by no means difficult. Just run the power to the battery and it grounds out through itself where it mounts.
That too is pretty simply. I complicated it by using that blue switch but there's already a pigtail under the bed you just tap into. Add a switch in-line and mount the lights and run the loom.
Nice video.. exactly the kind of material i was looking for. just one question, i try to find the led lights you used for the interior of the truck but couldn't find them in the list, please help
you said you put the same LED bulb that you used in your dome lights all over the truck? Where else did you use them? License plate lights? Fender lights? Where? You said you bought 10?
The 194s were a pack of 10. So the dome lights are 194, I did the reverse lights but I believe those were different. Fenders were their own housings but I wouldn't recommend them as I've blown all the LEDs out of that pretty quickly.
I have a 2018 Colorado and run 35% tint on my front doors and back window and limo zero on the back windows and it was a night and day difference not just in brightness but in heat.
Hey man, thanks so much for your video! I was wondering, do you know if there’s a way for us to add the DSSV jounce control dampers on our 2023 Canyons? We seem to be missing a bracket that the 2024 models have included. Just wondering if there’s a way for us to add that bracket. Thanks! AP
Editing it currently. I made the mistake of going cheap with the hard wire kit and chased the issue for months. Got it sorted and video will be out soon.
Any update on if the blow off valve has become annoying or not? Just got my 2024 AT4, deep bronze metallic, 2 days ago. Screen protectors are gonna be a must.
OT.....I'd like to replace my LED headlights to stronger ones. I have a 2023 GMC Canyon Denali, the AUTO place I do business with stated that the LED lights are sealed and can not be replaced. Is this correct? Thank You.
I have them. Many people are skeptical about them. I'm still testing the spacers I have on my truck. I didn't want to recommend something that wasn't safe.
I ordered these and you actually need 2 large for the front seats and 3 small for the back seats. You could get away with only 2 small for the back, because the middle seat isn’t hitting plastic, but I went with 3 so they all look alike.
I forget exactly but I believe 70 on the windshield and all the rear windows and 50 on the front 2. Ended up matching really well and the front isn't too dark.
@@BadlandIndustries Awesome thanks for the quick reply. I'm definitely going to do some research into the cost in my area to get it done once I get my 2024 truck.
@draconus003 for the money it's been one of the best mods so far. Winter didnt seem to need the heater much now heading into warmer weather I'm excited to see how it does.
I went real light on the windshield, something like 75%. The fronts I did I think 18% and 35% on the back factory tinted glass. Really light looking out and matches all the way around.
I can tell you right now that if your car uses a turbo that reciprocates the pressure and you put an atmospheric on there, you are going to completely screw up the truck. It will run like ass.
Have had my Colorado for barely 24 hours now and thought this was an interesting list. Thanks for sharing.
What do you plan to do first on yours?
@@BadlandIndustries mine didn't come with floor mats, so probably that. I also want to motorize the rear window - if I have time this week, I want to start modeling it up in CAD and see what I come up with.
@Hazdazos that would be cool. You'd have to figure out the latch though. Unless the actuator is the mechanism locking it closed

Gave my Hummer H3 to my son - just got my Colorado Bison yesterday, glad to see your covering all my favs :D
My 1st mod was flowmaster 40 & resonator delete. The sound this motor makes at low rpm under load through the modified exhaust is very rewarding.

The reverse lights were lacking. Certain trims had incandescent bulbs, and you can replace those with led.

You need 2 of each. Take a look at your trucks buckles to see the difference between the two sizes.
Interested in the leveling kits. We have four of these trucks on order and we always add leveling kits.
We thoroughly tested the kit we're working on at Sand hollow last week. Pretty happy with the results so far.

did you use dome lights for the interior and reverse lights too? I apologize. I'm new to this truck/car world
They were some bulbs I had from some other purchase I think. They're 194 size but they're the flad chip style not the bulb looking ones.

where do we find solid front bumpers for our canyons

No, just find a local shop and have them do it.

it should. there's some talk about the step brackets but if your truck doesn't have that then just cut them off or find a hitch that doesn't use them.
