Every year I come back to this video because my brother is in it...I wasn’t able to get out of our car at the time so I watched from afar, my brother still has the signed shirt! I’m glad that he could meet Shaq.
I wish more people were like the humble police officer. Most of the comments on here are about Shaq. The officer took the time and care to be a good example and he spent time with those kids, getting to know them. I’m iffed he got pushed into the background here in Shaq’s shadow. The greatest heroes never get the honor they deserve.
I saw something like this on an episode of COPS once where someone called in a complaint of kids playing basketball and it was in Florida too ironically. It was a grumpy old woman who called in.
No this was NOT FROM THE 90S!!! This was only from 2016! Kids still play outside! That hasn't all ended for crying out loud! Kids where I live still play outside. Quit assuming that every video you see of kids playing was from before the 2000s because there's still kids that play outside
@@beckybooboo600 calm down idiot. He didn’t say this specific video was from the 90’s. He’s saying back in the 90’s this was normal for the police to do with kids throughout the community.
In Muskegon, Mich. There was a time when you knew all the police, Great cops officer Bostrom ,officer Hood, officer Riley I can go on,but then one day in the 80's that all change...they called it the war on drugs....gone are the police who know everyone by name and you would give your life for. So you see this makes me feel good inside and know there's hope
I hope there was some sort of follow up to the person that made the call-seriously. I can't envision any scenario where a person of sound mind would call the police on children playing basketball at 5:00 PM. Whoever did needs a wellness check, and I'm not trying to be humorous, I'm being serious.
The caller should be thanked, had he NOT made the call none of this would have happened, sometimes what seems to be a silly thing to do, winds up in the end with something far more valuable
That's what a public basketball park is for , I mean why can't Shaquille O'Neal provide these kids a gym for them to play in, for their saftey and peace, the last thing these people want to hear after coming home from a long days of work is more noises ,think about it
Imagine if you're the Karen who called this in. You see a bunch of cops roll up and think you're going to get your way, and instead Shaq jumps out and starts handing out Benjamins.
That's what's up, that's what the power of celebrity should do to inspire us young bucks!! Pretty cool. Hope whoever see this comment, i hope all is safe and healthy with you and your family. If not, than for what its worth if any at all, what ever religion you believe if any at all,i hope it helps you through this crazy ass time!! Gang gang fellow humans.
The fact that someone called the cops about a noise complain about kids playing basketball in the street at 5 PM in the afternoon that that person is a Karen 100% because Karen’s can’t stand to see other people especially kids having fun
I respect shaq for that but imagine if he would of taken that game to heart fouling blocking slapping the ball down the road Lol this is my house😵 shaq has a heart of gold
These are the cops we need all around America. 💔🙏🏽

Yes I agree 👍💯
No you just gotta raise your kids correctly in order for him to be a good cop :)
@@mollies13way to ruin a good message. We all know there’s not good people in uniform *cough* Daniel Holtzclaw *cough*
Lol imagine being the person that called.. not only did they not get quiet, but the cops throw a block party with Shaq 😂
The caller should have been arrested for wasting the officers time.
It wasn't a waste. The caller should receive royalties from the 15 million views.
At lest they aren’t playing video games
People complain about the dumbest things
Ya think?🙄
I think watching the officer join the game was all the torture he needed. These kids could've been doing way worse things.
Every year I come back to this video because my brother is in it...I wasn’t able to get out of our car at the time so I watched from afar, my brother still has the signed shirt! I’m glad that he could meet Shaq.
Hope he's doing well. Look impactful
Dude that’s awesome lol
That’s awesome. Please remember the officer as well. He was the greatest inspiration in this.
Shaq is a true American Hero! It’s above love, working together and respect for your fellow man. #Shaqclass
The officer was the hero. Shaq is the best, but I’m sad the officer was shoved out of the picture.
I would have loved to have seen the children's facial expressions when they realised it was ShaQ ..priceless!
This is what would make America great again! Love, respect and community. ❤
That huddle and talking about respect to parents and elders is amazing

Shaq is a true inspiration to kids and adults.
No, the officer is, first. Shaq next.
I wish more people were like the humble police officer.

Yep
That was life before 2000s growing up in the 90s that was normal for cops to hang out especially before cops became soldiers
No this was NOT FROM THE 90S!!! This was only from 2016! Kids still play outside! That hasn't all ended for crying out loud! Kids where I live still play outside. Quit assuming that every video you see of kids playing was from before the 2000s because there's still kids that play outside

What can we say he’s outstanding!! He will always be my favorite player!
At 5:00 o clock kids nowadays would be in their air-conditioned room playing video games and thats me and 5 0 clock.
My memory must be failing me because I don’t remember asking
This was nowadays...
Legend. Thanks Officer

Why would anyone dislike this?
I love him so much, and I wish more people would just be kind and empathetic towards others!
Shaq is the true definition of a gentle giant
This is where it starts
just thik of those kids, they remember this moment forever..
The voice who said, "God damn," upon seeing Shaq is priceless.
What a legend shaq turning up was just fantastic, a great roll model with excellent advise 🏀👍🏻
The officer is a legend.
I love this video!!! Both Shaw and the police officer are great citizens
this is the cops we need in this time of year
That one dude yellin' "god damn!!" When Shaq hops out the car cracked me up😂
The guy that yelled out "gawh damn!!" When Shaq stepped out Had me crying 😂😂
Shaq has the best heart.
Respect does not mean blindly mimic/emulate or tolerate abuse from.
Money didn't change him he's still one of us.
Shaw is one of the coolest people on this planet! Amazing job officer White!
That’s just too sweet
hopefully everyone got a free copy of Shaq's dope album Shaq Diesel. ...

Kids need to be outside playing basketball ! It beats being stuck on mindless video games! I back the kids playing outside!
He’s amazing❤❤❤
Feel like shaq would be the coolest uncle ever
Shaq is the real deal man love him
That's y Shaq is one of the greatest people in the world love that big guy
we need more of the positive cop interactions on the news. unfortunately, society loves talking about bad things with cops
We love Shaq✊🏿🙌🏾❤️
The grandma that complained defintely moved out 😂
Shaq is a God
Humble
Kind
Generous
Thisnis why Shaq is the GOAT.
Love & respect for shaq from India. I Dont know much about him, but the message he gives to the kids & young ones are admirable. ❤
Did you even notice it was the police officer who made the difference?? He’s the one who did a good and humble thing.
Shaq cant even disguise himself so he can make a surprise to them at the end. you see a giant like this you know is Shaq
See not every police officer is bad :D
UPDATE the neighbour has now made a complaint against the officer for conspiracy to commit excessive noise
Shaq steppin out his car, dude says "gahhhh damn!!"
I hope there was some sort of follow up to the person that made the call-seriously. I can't envision any scenario where a person of sound mind would call the police on children playing basketball at 5:00 PM.
