    Thank you so much. My high beam has been out for a while, so I've been having to be home before dark.

    Good job. I really don’t like how GM made it so difficult to replace a headlight bulb. This video will definitely save me some money to get it done at the dealership. Thank you

      I was saying the same thing😂 I cannot believe you need to go through the fender just to replace a bulb

    I have a 2011 Equinox that has the round access cover that is secured with one T20 screw. When the accesses cover is removed
    and the wheels turned so as to gain maximum clearance, I can reach in and loosen the bulb cover and change the low beam bulbs,
    which are H-11 for me. As far as the High beams are concerned, I wonder if the high beam bulbs are accessible through that
    same access hole with out taking the fender liner out? What bulb number is used for the high beams? I think the 2015 and up model
    GM did away with that access cover and took the fender liner out and maybe the wheel too.

      @NexusAuto  2 роки тому +1

      I *believe* the high beams are accessible through the panel, once the low beam cover is removed, since the high beam sits more inside. The bulb for a 2011 Equinox is 9005.
      You're also right on those fender covers. Officially removed in 2015, but I've seen some late model 2014s without them too

      @@NexusAuto they 100% are if you have the ability to do it blind (you don't have space to shine a light in and look...but you can just reach your arm in there and do both bulbs by feel). I just changed all my 2012 equinox headlight bulbs to LED.

      @@Polyothix awesome! Thanks for clarifying the possibility of getting it done. Much appreciated

    Is the passenger side the same

    • @NexusAuto
      @NexusAuto  3 місяці тому

      It is pretty much the same, just the light and frame is mirrored. But otherwise, I think it's the same

    Do you know if the 2017 traverse has the same headlights layout like the equinox?

    • @NexusAuto
      @NexusAuto  Рік тому

      It's not the exact same, but I believe it is similar. I've worked on earlier Traverses and it was similar, so I assume this is the case on a 2017. But I can't 100% confirm

    What year model?

    • @NexusAuto
      @NexusAuto  2 роки тому

      This is specifically on a 2015 model year. I think it generally covers all models from 2010 to 2017, but I could be wrong on that. GM made changes throughout the entire run of these vehicles.
