The Roland Jupiter-4 Synthesizer from the year 1978 is one of my favorite synths. Here can you find the full Jupiter-4 playlist with single sound demos and one synth demo tracks. Enjoy.

In many ways the most “rich sounding” Jupiter - pure magic
Agree with you
Beautiful synth. Love the sound. God old synths are the best.
Agree with you
Finally a tutorial using a synth I own! These are even more fun when you can follow along! Keep'em coming.
:)
Great stuff again. Reproduction is one of my favourite albums and Martyn Ware, Ian Craig Marsh being the pioneers of that sound.
:)) thank you!
Personally the jp4 is my absolutely favourite analog synth. Just killer!
:)
Analogs are fascinating!
My favorite Human League song!
:))
Love my Jupiter 4. It should be really limited, seeing as it only has one oscillator per voice, but somehow it's capable of so many wonderful sounds.
+Chris Wareham yes a fantastic synth.
+Chris Wareham don't Forget the amazing Speed of the LFO which is not so common on other synths!!!
Awesome! I was just doing Being Boiled on my MS-20!
:) thank you!
Einfach nur großartig!
:))) danke!
Sounds very badass !! I like it : )

That is phat...but what did you do with the pulse wave? I got better result with saw waves in Odin II
These sound tutorials are great. Any plans for a Juno 6\60 tutorial?
yes with all synths.
thank you! :)
Vaya sonido !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:)
Very, very interesting.
:)) thank you!
c'est le paradis chez toi
The "early" Human League
:)
Did they use this, powerful synth.
:)
***** Ohh they're known to use analogs (since there was nothing else in the early 8O's) (luckily) (and they are obviously hooked on it still...) But, also I must refer to something else: there is no such thing as "powerful synth" only when we are about to sell one used to say such things, but the reality is that (as u see) u touch a knob and the sound goes fatter or weeker.... ...if u know what to touch and how to adjust it, aaaand yes Mr Retrosound seems knowing very well that a little detuning and deliberate instability gives that so called "power" for he sound. (great video Retrosound!!!)
molekulaTV the Jupiter-4 is a wild beast like the OB-X. every played note a bit different sound. this is analog madness. ;)
thank you :)
***** your welcome!!! :) (i am not sure it is clear that I meant to reply to somebodies comment under the vid... he says something about "powerful synth...." :) )
molekulaTV ahh yes ;) the first review I read in a german keyboard magazine maybe late 80s: "The Jupiter-4 sound is is very thin in comparision to other analog synths". ;)
Give some other parts of songs for Minimoog :)
It sounds like my Polysix
They're both pretty dark sounding. I can see the resemblance.
What a very fat (oberheim 's like) sound!
Thanks.
Tegards.
Mysterio.
thank you
