Nice find on your Motorhome looks in really nice condition for it's age. We have 82 Winnebago that my hubby is refurbing and we bought a solid vinyl flooring that looks just like a laminate as it snaps together. It's flexible and waterproof so I thought it would be ideal for the RV and it has a 25year warranty. No padding or special underlayment is needed but we plan on putting reflectix under it for some extra insulation. I have a regular laminate in my sticks and bricks kitchen and there's a couple seams that got damp and the edges are raised a bit so a regular laminate was out for me. We're in the midwest so we lots of snow and rain, I'm hoping we made the right choice floorwise. I hope all of your systems function as should and will be looking forward to your RV updates.
Nice motorhome. I agree with the person that suggested a laminate floor. I think there's at least one video on UA-cam of someone doing that. Also, Eric should be a good source of information on your new rig since Tilly was the same model (I believe.) Good luck with getting it fixed up. You've got a good framework to start with.
Looks nice and clean! You should be comfortable enough, so long as you head south when it gets cold. Definitely want to take care of function before cosmetic. ;)
brighten her up and make her your own and you got a keeper! I would do hardwood floors with rugs if you want carpet. Also as for the installation I so someone had put reflective (like you put on your windows) under the flooring so it held heat and cold within.
I would go with laminate floors, and I would replace those curtains with those old roll up, vinal shades (they clean real easy). Over all if is a nice looking camper. Does the water pump work ok?.Be sure and check the age of the tires (not the tread), they tend to fail easily after 6/7 yrs.
+James Pottorff yes tires are old, need to replace them, and I have not checked water pump yet as the tank is empty, but I did push the button and it made noise :)
+MotorHome Maniacs there are plenty of videos on UA-cam to learn how to tell the exact age of the tires. I would put a couple gallons of water in the tank, just because the pump makes noise, does not mean it is working (I have that problem myself, I need a new pump), plus then you can check for water leaks. With the tanks empty, you can also check the dump valves to make sure they open and close easily. If they need to be changed, you have to have empty tanks anyway,
Nice motorhome - looks like the things that need to be replaced are fairly reasonable. You mentioned the ladder in the back. I remember the ladder issue from the last video on this motorhome you posted. It is great there are no leaks and no delamination. I have to replace the carpet in my rig as well and starting to consider my options. Let us know what you decide to do. Congrats on a nice motorhome.
Not a bad find. Upgrade your tires. After shampooing the carpet, put clear plastic runners over it to prevent wear and its easier to sweep out quickly then vaccuming daily.
as to checking AC as most to some have Some thin filter? so the cooling Fins Air Flow So remove inside Cover Take Closer Peek inside also check outside in some Critter in case they build a nest. mice love non moving home. that where steel wool come in handy- what does is house goes battery up front under the hood or under the sofa
MANIAC , RE:Wallpaper. Rvs don't use wallpaper. They use contact paper. The same stuff your momma used on her kitchen shelves. Note where your contact paper is coming loose - Under the corner of a window. I'll betcha that window has a leak. Replace all chassis fluids ESPECIALLy the rear axle oil. See you on the road !!

What is the length of that?Personally, I would go with laminate floors but the right kind of carpet is good too.

That’s not in bad shape at all ! Maybe do some updates to it . Other then that you’ve got a decent Rv.
