I have never used a rope. However this is great! My mama climbed, so did my papa, 6 sisters, 1 brother and now all 26 of my parents grandchildren - still no rope. I will learn and introduce this to the children.

Thanks for the kind words Dan! Really pleased our videos are useful for you.
The SRT video we made might be useful too. It goes over the Rope Wrench, Taz Lov3 and base anchor setup.

This video was great, but what do you think is the difference in the wear of the climbing rope, if you use a Prusik or a mechanic device such as the Rope Runner Pro?

what´s so british / english about this hitch? Nothing, cause it is around for asround 100years tied like that. Named after his austrian inventor and mountaineering icon Mr. Karl Prusik

Haha! I understand the confusion. The “English Prusik” is just one way of tying a friction hitch (as opposed to the Swabish Prusik etc). It’s odd but the name Prusik seems to be used interchangeably with friction hitch now days. Which IMHO is even more of a testament to Mr Karl Prusik and the affect he had on recreational and industrial climbing.

Lose the intro. Anyone with content that is any good at all has no business plauging their viewers with that annoying repetitive nonsense. If you must, do something at the end, but have some compassion for your viewers.

One double tap will skip it bro (if your watching it on a phone). Hope that helps 🤙
