I had a group of friends who said there was no substitute for spending ages 22-30 in NYC in terms of experiences and connections. You can get your 6000 square foot mansion later. Enjoy this period of your life.
Most will never get that 6000sq.Ft mansion. Most people leave NYC broke or in debt due to the cost of living. If it were as easy as “let me spend a few years in NYC and then I’ll be set for life” everyone would do it. This isn’t the 19th century, you can network almost anywhere. As for the advantages she mentions, these are heavily dependent on where in NYC you stay. Manhattan? Sure. Queens? Not so much.
I moved to New York in my early 20s. I lived in the East Village & Bushwick. It was fun and thrilling at the time. It definitely had that energy everyone talks about and many of my friends are still killing it there. Now I'm pushing 30 and my perspective has changed. The romance of New York has faded for me because of other priorities - mostly being close to family. I miss NYC and still love visiting, but I wouldn't want to live there anymore. I guess they have a point when they say "demographics is destiny."
I was born and raised in New York City and now live in the San Fernando Valley. I always say New York is great to live in when your 20’s for about 2 to 3 years. It’s a life changing place. To grow up in NYC however can be super tough 🫥
If I was in my 20s I'd definitely give NYC a try. I'm late 30s with parents to look after, so I just couldn't live that lifestyle now, one reason I watch & appreciate your content. I get a nice glimpse as to what it would be like. Thanks for the time & work you put into your videos. I get a nice break from my "quiet" life & feel the energy of NYC in your vlogs. Cheers 🍹
The PR of the city has affected me through the yrs. When I was younger, the "greatest city in the world" or "I luuuv it" publicity made me think the big claims were backed up by big proof. NYC is some ways is better today than it was 20-30-40 yrs ago. But I also realize opinions are a matter of "different strokes for different folks." And "YMMV." However, if NYC is the "greatest city in the world," than cities like London, Paris, Tokyo, Rome, etc, must be the greatest in the solar system. Again, however, YMMV
@@sssoundslike2259 better late than never ! I did other things on my bucket list in the meantime , it was just another chapter for me. I never let life pass me by :-)
It's so funny how people compare living spaces without an ounce of context lol The idea that you can get so much 'more house' in another area is entirely irrelevant if the more house and other area aren't in line with your priorities and endgame! Also, love the opening editing and how the video title is layered in the skyline!
I'm a doctor in a great, warm coastal city currently. I crave the intellectual and cosmopolitan environment of NYC. As well as the kick-ass food scene! It's admittingly quite hard to make the leap, though. I hear about physicians being over-worked and under-paid in the New York area. Starting salaries there are 20-40% lower than what I make now. And that's before the insane living expenses. Suddenly all the money I'd use for retirement is going towards living expenses, and I'd spend more years of my life working before I could retire b/c of that. Not to mention a more cut-throat work culture. Maybe if I find the right gig, I'd move for all the reasons you lay out. Otherwise, I very much enjoy visiting NYC!
It’s crazy that I’ve lived near NYC my entire life and it took me until this year to explore the city and allow myself to fall in love with it. So glad you feel the same way ❤
I live in Seattle and it’s super-dead here. Just spoke to my manager recently and I’ll be working remotely from NYC starting mid-2023. Super-excited to watch NYC content from creators like you. Keep pushing!
I’m a New Yorker through and through. Born and raised in Queens, went to college in the city, worked in NYC, lived on 53rd and 1st ave. Now i live in the southwest and it sucks after 9pm. When i lived in NYC, if i craved something at 3am, i could go downstairs and get it. Here If i crave something, i have to wait til the next morning lol i loved off broadway shows, seeing bands play, pop up galleries, the high line, meat packing district, soho, Chinatown, Korea town, little Italy. Etc.
This is exactly why I love living in NYC! It's always moving, and you can never run out of things to do. Walk out your door for a quick bite, a jog by the water, exploring a popup or just relaxing in the park to read. The energy of people exploring and doing their own things fosters a great feeling of excitement and you are only a train ride away from a different vibe and new experiences.
You literally just talked the whole time but did not get bored and still learned in the process. Superb monologue editing. Your MECE script writing skills are impeccable. 💯🙌
I love the thrill of New York. It’s so surreal. I’m a city girl and I honestly love the fast lifestyle. New York definitely isn’t for everyone, but me personally, I couldn’t imagine myself living anywhere else
There is an incredible energy of kindness and positivity coming from you. Because of my poor English, I don't understand some individual moments, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying your videos. Good luck to you and continue to enjoy what you are doing.
Great quote! It totally resonates with me. I can tell you now that I'm in my sixties, the desire for growth, continuous learning, and ambition has not faded at all. I live/work in DC around many high-powered, ambitious personalities and I constantly feed off that energy. Good video! Tim
I'm moving to new york next spring, and every reason you gave is exactly why I wanna go and what I'm hoping for. I've lived very safe and comfortable so far, which I'm grateful, but I'm also hungry for personal/creative growth and expansion because of that. To be thrown into this energy, fall on my face, and get up on my own is exactly what I want. Thanks for a realistic and straight to the point video!
I think what NYC teaches me the most is to choose who you are friends with wisely. Not everyone is going to regard you the same way as your college friends. Stay friends/Hang out with those who have stable and sustainable jobs, responsible, and can lead you towards the good/right tracks - rather than those who just seem "cool" (even if being "cool" is so tempting sometimes!). Girls are so easily taken advantage of, so it is important to stay clearheaded.
Hey, I am moving out to NYC this January. I've loved the city every time I've visited; there's no where else I would rather live. But, moving out does mean leaving friends, family, and the state that has molded me into who I am today. So, while there is excitement at moving, there is anxiety there, too. This video has given me more confidence in my decision to move, though. Thank you.
It’s funny I’m a New Yorker who moved to LA and I’m here in the NYC metro on vacation after being in LA for 6 years. Being here in NYC for two weeks made me realize how much I miss this place. The fast pace, the big city vibe, the endless lounges and stuff.
I remember from one of your previous videos that you said that your mother, or your family from your mother's side is Croatian, and I can honestly say I see those Balkan Slavic roots in the way that you joke and communicate your thoughts and ideas, and your overall energy. Energy doesn't lie and that is super cool! On the main note, another cool video as always, sending support from the Balkans 🦾👏
Getting FOMO while watching you with all the festive lights in the back! 😍 I also give you major props for vlogging so publicly haha One thing about being from Long Island is that us natives really never end up visiting the city unless we have to. Its like Vegas natives going to the stirp. Definitely wish my family and I took more advantage of exploration when I lived there, but at least I can live vicariously through your vlogs!
HAHA thanks Lindsay. Anything to get the shot 😅 and yep I totally get it. I didn’t even go to the beach allll that often even though I grew up a very short drive away from it hahaha
You dropped so many gems in this video. It’s so inspirational and motivating. I liked when you talked about finding our networking and growing zones. It’s very hard to do in the city where I live, but I’m still trying!
I have been trying to comprehend why I love new york city so much but you captured it perfectly! Loved hearing your perspective and I absolutely agree with you that the city forces you to get out of your comfort zone and grow as cheesy as it sounds
I have been to NYC as a tourist a couple of times and spent only 10 days in total, however I absolutely loved it. For months I have been watching videos about the city (especially yours and from Cash Jordan), and all I want to do now is to move to NYC. I want to feel everything that you mention in this video, the willingness to grow, the work hard/play hard mindset, the millions of things happening every day and so on... This has been my favorite video of yours, thanks!
Love that you mentioned crime. My wife and I are planning to move to Chicago in the next year or two and we - always - get the parents saying how horrible the crime is, when it’s not that bad and it’s largely media companies poking at Chicago. I feel like Chicago is a smaller version of New York because it’s very similar-a lot of people in Chicago are full of ambition or doing something really cool. And we’ll take a small “shoe box” for the ambition and opportunity over the home in the suburbs right now. Keep growing! We’re a little older than you and we’re hoping to get to your level 😂.
Moved to NY recently and agree with so many of the things you mentioned in this video! It’s been such a huge catalyst to do things that I’ve been putting off (chasing acting, running, trying UA-cam). Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration!
I am in my 50’s. I lived in big homes in phoenix and the LA valley. I moved to downtown LA in a brand new condo. Smaller than all my previous places. I have connected with great people, loved all the arts and culture and the food experience has been the best. I would say live in a big mansion for your children to grow. Before and after your children. live in a big city for yourself as you never stop growing.
"Being surrounded by this growth mindset has just been very inspiring to me" 💯- Loooove it! It's so important to surround yourself with the right people and your motivation and growth will follow.
The topics aren't usually things I usually watch except the financial ones but you editing and flow, story telling is very well done it's enjoyable to watch regardless of the subject
Same - her videos are always so entertaining! I actually decided to start a UA-cam channel because I want to see more finance content on this platform. Maybe you'll like it :)
Taylor as a native New Yorker myself you should try exploring the rest of the state. I live in the Hudson valley but you can travel all the way north to the Adirondacks including the state park. Adirondack state park is larger then Yosemite and Yellowstone combined. Plus you have the beautiful waters of the hamptons etc.
I can concur with everything you said as a native New Yorker (East Harlem) and living in Maryland now, although I'm very comfortable here, I feel as though I'm never on the move and I don't feel the hunger for personal growth that I once felt while living in New York. Sucks, but I love your content, amazing.
So it’s just a feeling then? A lot of these benefits she mentions, like networking, she could achieve by visiting the city and attending certain functions, expos, events, etc. strategically without actually living full time in NYC. For a lot of people, it’s the irrational and romanticized idea of living in NYC that attracts people to the city and that’s how people rationalize living there and putting up with the crime, cramped spaces, cost of living, etc.
Taylor has made my morning commute 1000% better and loving your videos you do each time one come out. Have a fantastic day 🙏🙂 can’t wait to be in New York soon in a few months do some exploring
Fantastic Taylor. So lovely to see you enjoying and growing in this season of your life. I agree going to a large city when you’re young is the best way to surround yourself with people at the top of their game. Plenty of time for suburbia later.
Good for you young lady, the Big Apple is certainly a challenge and can be both exciting and confusing. I wish my youngest daughter opted for Manhattan after college, she decided to really challenge herself and spent 2 years working in South Korea and is currently working in Thailand. Don’t ever think u can’t learn more about other people and places, NYC gives u the option to stay in the US and still have that international vibe.
Your reasoning in on point. At 61, NYC isn't really for me, since I love my peace and quiet in my small town. But I just came from NYC, since my son lives there and he suggested I come for Thanksgiving (I was planning to visit him Nov 28 and 29, since he's off Mondays and Tuesdays, but he suggested Thanksgiving). Despite crime, NYC still has its charm. Oh my, it was crazy during both Thanksgiving and Black Friday! We had Thanksgiving dinner at Penthouse Korean barbecue restaurant Gaonnuri in Koreatown and omakase sushi at Sushi Blossoms in Chelsea. I had my hair done by my son (he's a hairstylist) but he told me not to tip him because I bought Thanksgiving Dinner. 😡 He also moved to NYC last year. He is accomplishing so much more now that he is there (he was already accomplished before that, but being in a small town could lead to stagnation. He needed to grow). We were fine taking the subway, except this morning, the Manhattan bound L train had people get off at Myrtle Wykoff and we all had to take the M, which also got delayed by a stopped train in front of it when it was already close to Essex. NYC belongs to the young and offers them so much opportunity. I'm looking at you and I must say that you remind me of a young Suhaila Salimpour or even her daughter isabella. ua-cam.com/video/0Nf6A8zuvLM/v-deo.html
Hey T: superb blog: totally agree with your NY concept- I was the same when I moved to London at 20 and have never looked back- keep going and challenging yourself- you are smashing it !! X
I get the sense people are more in love with the idea or thought of living in NYC and have a romanticized view of the city than the actual real tangible benefits it supposedly offers. Networking, if it must be in NYC, can be done by visiting the city through events, expos, launches, etc. that one can strategically plan without having to actually live in the city full time. I’ve done this in multiple cities whilst still enjoying the peace, safety and overall better standard of living in a suburban environment.
I really need to get out there. Visited 4 times and I'm in love. I shot for Dropbox and Apple two of the times i was there, other times i did anything and everything i could. Even one week when i visited i specifically wanted to not do much, we ended up with every single day completely packed just organically.
Excellent points. I have been for the past 5 years here, in NYC. I know that at some point I have to leave the city (not affordable) and I get anticipatory nostalgia. NY challenges you in every possible way. Especially for creative people, it's the best place to be. Just observe Casey Neistat and his rate of uploads since he came back to NYC, compared to LA. Also, I believe that you can find a more relaxed lifestyle if you move to UES or UWS. The central park is an oasis for the city. By the way, I really enjoy your videos. Great work.
I prefer the quieter small town living. I enjoy visiting New York through your videos. The small corner grocery stores and coffee shops are so different from my experiences.
I’m way too introverted to excel in NYC 😂 But that’s okay. I get a taste of it from the comfort of my own home by following great content creators like you.
We out here for bucket number one!! Thank you for sharing. As someone who moved out of the Los Angeles area, I can definitely appreciate getting to know and bring impacted by the vibe of a new place.
nyc gives you the right energy to achieve your ideas, not wasting time in bullshit, cause if you do it you gonna feel guilty asf, that’s why we all love the big apple❤️🌃
i literally stopped and looked up in bryant park yesterday and was like, oh yea pretty. nyc is breakneck speed, but you gotta love it to live in it. still good to slow sometimes and realize where you are but doesn't happen often.
I live in Woodland Hills ,Ca and I plan my move to NYC this spring 2023🎉can’t wait I was in NYC 2 times and absolutely love it. When I was there ,there is a strong ,positive energy coming to me I don’t know what it is but I feel so happy lol I was eating ice cream at Times Square at 8pm and was enjoying like I was in the heaven lol but not in Chicago not in la ,not in Miami I have the same.only in NYC People compare their houses to nyc apartments but in what state is it :Texas ?North carolina ?even in San Diego I wouldn’t want to live .I feel nothing,Florida is too hot and too many creepy creatures. You can have a 40,000 square ft mansion but if you are not happy nothing will help you, And also we came to these planets and when we are gone all the big houses ,Money ,Luxury cars ,they are all staying here.People won’t take anything lol I believe some ppl say stuff like that but inside deep in their soul they really want to be in NYC .I am so happy for you.Explore ,learn ,Do everything you can cuz all we can take up there along with our souls are memories!
Aw I love this! So excited for you to move also!! I'm from Granada Hills so I'm back and forth between the two also ahah 😊 I hope you love the big city as much as I do, best of luck to ya 🥳
Great video and I love to hear people talk who truly understand NYC. Mansions in Texas are cool for people who like to stay home and drive to Target on the weekends. In NYC, you get a shoebox with the world right at your fingertips and endless places to explore. I have lived here my entire life and it never gets old. There are plenty of NYC haters which is fine because that means more city for me lol
I don’t know how I stumbled upon this channel but Taylor your personality is fantastically funny. I subscribed and keep coming back for that. Keep living and thriving.
Howdy 🤠 hit the nail on the coffin for this video! Getting out of your comfort zone and exploring new places single handedly helped me grow tremendously over the last year. Started a role as a buyer at your favorite retail giant based in Arkansas about 6 months ago. Not only with new big responsibilities, but also moving to a completely new area. I was just talking with a coworker yesterday about the move and the healthy balance of being uncomfortable truly makes you grow both personally and professionally 💪🏻 keep up the great content! Us 20 something’s can always relate.
Just got back from the city, spent Thanksgiving in TS. My daughter's HS band marched in the Macy's parade. We LOVE NY, and as soon as she graduates, our plan is to move from TX to NYC. Bonus points to you for filming in Bryant Park while the Christmas Village shops are set up. It's such a pretty spot in the middle of "such a dirty city" LOL seriously, it's not THAT dirty! :) Great vlog as always.
Hi Taylor, Ironically I am in NYC today. Loved your video and take on the Big Apple. It is indeed not about the skyscrapers but the people, ideas, and sheer amount of energy that attracts the world to it:)
An ace communicator! Really enjoy all the little 'bits and pieces' you throw together in the videos, keeps it all bopping along and I find it thought provoking, which is no bad thing right?🤔😄 The occasional blooper and your attempts at recovery always get a laugh.
You have singlehandedly seed the ✨idea✨ of living in New York in my mind. Being a newbie in project management here in Madrid, Spain (Europe) you've showed me that this capital is going to feel small sooner than I expected. Inspired by you, I'm working towards fill in the shoes when that happens. Thanks 🆙
I've always said I'm not going back to New York until I can stay forever. It's always too hard to say goodbye because I feel like I'm missing out on so much stuff.
Love nyc been here all my life even if I won the lotto I wouldn’t leave ny completely I’d just move upstate somewhere and always be able to drive to the city when I need to it’s hard to convince ppl unless u lived comfortably here if u did then u understand the love New Yorkers have for there city
Hello Taylor! I only just discovered your UA-cam videos last week because your tik tok came up on my fyp and I decided to check ‘em out and just wanted to say that I love the content that you make! I’ve been binge watching all of your videos haha😁
I live in the Scottish Highlands and didn't really consider the impact such a laid back environment was having on my growth mindset but can see now it's so true. Waking up in your apartment and looking out the window would just make me feel like everyone's out and about doing their thing, chasing their goals, and here I am falling behind.
There’s fantastic cities in Scotland . I’ve travelled the world and few cities match Glasgow and Edinburgh., Perhaps relocating may be the answer . The highlands are stunningly beautiful but are desolate.. The central belt is vibrant , alive and kicking , this is where people get a true flavour of Scotland.
@@Tony-u2y4i lol! I grew up in Glasgow and yeah it's a one of a kind. I personally prefer the remoteness of the Highlands but it does have an impact on your growth mindset.
Finally had a chance to see this vid and enjoyed it quite a bit. It's always nice to see someone new experiences everything the Big Apple has to offer and falls in love with as much as I do. Congrats on the hitting that first major YT milestone!
Good morning Taylor I’ve just rewatched your vlog and have decided to visit NY in 23, why may you ask! Well Taylor it goes to say I have been blown away by the central NY bus which is clearly in abundance in your town. I also would like to see the city high rise residential towers which make NY so appealing to live in.. FYI I’m a construction project manager in London and build these similar towers in London albeit only to 12 storeys- I also love the old NY down town architecture which is very similar to London Westminster/Pimlico area. Catch up soon Phil x
Hey Taylor, It's really refreshing to watch your videos. It's been like 10 months, watching your vlogs. You never disappoint your audience. Content is great. With every single video we get know something new. Your communication skill is so captivating, editing is great😃👍 Thank you for delivering such a good content. Your turtle fan🐢
Another excellent video! I had all the same thoughts on living in the city when I was in my 20s. The FOMO was real, but it was worth it for the hustle and energy and life. Miss it every day!
· Taylor! Watching your videos I have learned much more vocabulary and expressions than I've ever seen in any school or in any English Course. All this hand in hand with great interesting content with an excellent sense of humor. Thank you for that! 🙌
Been watching your channel for about a good few months now. I really look forward to watching your videos and seeing the energy and time you put into them! What are some ways to make new friends/network in NYC?
As lifetime NYer always appreciate hearing the perspective of someone who just moved here Also let me explain this we move fast we get the shit done fast, because ultimately it's more time at home with family and not worrying about shit we didn't do.
At this big age, I finally realise what a luxury it is to live life solely for you/being able to do things without having to worry about “if I do this, will there be enough for people back home”. For now, I live vicariously through you but I wholeheartedly believe I will get me and my family into a much much better financial situation in the next 2 years, at most. Manifesting this in your comments. Hehehe.
Moved to NYC end of July, been having the time of my life. Y'all will get it when you move here! 🍂 T - I'm visiting LA for 2-3 days during the Christmas break and it's my first time in Cali. Recommendations? xD
Also, CENTRAL PARK does Really do the City of New York a Huge favor and to its people; it's like an Oasis in the desert. I used to enjoy my days at Central Park. And, The Grand Central Station in NYC is fun to watch. LOL
I love the NY vs LA discussion. NY is def for the young professional. You cant be lazy in NY....even finding an Apt is a JOB there. NY is a close city....meaning you will meet people, unlike LA. Basically when you are a starting hard-charger, NY is the place but when you make your money......I would move to LA to relax.
Born and raised in NYC. I have traveled to so many places on earth and nothing compares. There is no truer statement than if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.
Your quality of videos in all aspects make me so happy! I just visited NYC for the first time this month and lowkey sad I didn’t see you walking around… 😂
When are you going back to Brooklyn? When you do please be sure to visit the Four and Twenty Blackbirds pie shop on 3rd avenue. And try a slice of their Salted Honey Pie....trust me!
Thankyou once again for sharing the experience and I agree on the shoe box. But the thing is that I the shoe box is quite big and spacious with alot of natural lights and views are wowwwwwwwww We all strive to grow but it is our confort level which stops us from growing just like plants, they with all different factors to grow and some extra factors to grow faster and become jungle :D I am happy that you have identified your growth because alot of people only dream of growing, but due to some hurdles of their thoughts, are unable to grow.
Got to visit New York for Christmas last year and absolutely loved the Bryant Park setup there. The hot chocolate with the toasted marshmallows was 🔥, highly recommend.
Groovig on down in nyc … Probably the fastest paced city in the world . Idea scenario place in both cali and nyc.. Not a foodie., more of a “ I like pie and pile it high “ type of gal , for the most part I’m much the same ..

Couldn’t agree more!
You literally just talked the whole time but did not get bored and still learned in the process. Superb monologue editing. Your MECE script writing skills are impeccable. 💯🙌
The best possible compliment I could receive :') THANK YOU. And so glad you enjoyed
@@TaylorBell Yes, your videos are witty, information packed, and incredibly well edited.
Good video! Tim
SO incredibly happy to hear this. I hope I still feel the same energy in my sixties also -- very inspiring🥳 Thank you Tim!!
Good luck
I think what NYC teaches me the most is to choose who you are friends with wisely. Not everyone is going to regard you the same way as your college friends. Stay friends/Hang out with those who have stable and sustainable jobs, responsible, and can lead you towards the good/right tracks - rather than those who just seem "cool" (even if being "cool" is so tempting sometimes!). Girls are so easily taken advantage of, so it is important to stay clearheaded.
Good take!
Hey gorgeous you going be alright your learn 😂lolfr
Hey, I am moving out to NYC this January. I've loved the city every time I've visited; there's no where else I would rather live. But, moving out does mean leaving friends, family, and the state that has molded me into who I am today. So, while there is excitement at moving, there is anxiety there, too. This video has given me more confidence in my decision to move, though. Thank you.
im dealing with the same now
It’s funny I’m a New Yorker who moved to LA and I’m here in the NYC metro on vacation after being in LA for 6 years. Being here in NYC for two weeks made me realize how much I miss this place. The fast pace, the big city vibe, the endless lounges and stuff.
Yesss! It's so special
From my Dad’s side, yes!! Hahah that’s so cool to hear, love that you can notice that. Thank you so much for watching and supporting!!😊
Getting FOMO while watching you with all the festive lights in the back! 😍 I also give you major props for vlogging so publicly haha
One thing about being from Long Island is that us natives really never end up visiting the city unless we have to.
So glad you thought so, thank you 🥹 and you got this!!!
WOO glad to hear the contagious energy rubs off. Thank you so much for watching!!
SADLY - The True New Yorkers had to LEAVE. People Shouldn't be Giving their Money to those FILTHY LANDLORDS So easily.
Glad to hear it’s done the same for you😊
I am in my 50’s.
Great quotes. And I agree with everything you said about nyc, which is why it will always be the greatest city in the world
All of this! Trying to explain that feeling/energy NY gives you to people who haven't been is difficult, & you did it wonderfully 🤙🏻
WOO happy to hear it!! Enjoy it 🥳
Fantastic Taylor. So lovely to see you enjoying and growing in this season of your life. I agree going to a large city when you’re young is the best way to surround yourself with people at the top of their game. Plenty of time for suburbia later.
thank you sooooo much. And couldn't agree more 😊
Good for you young lady, the Big Apple is certainly a challenge and can be both exciting and confusing. I wish my youngest daughter opted for Manhattan after college, she decided to really challenge herself and spent 2 years working in South Korea and is currently working in Thailand. Don’t ever think u can’t learn more about other people and places, NYC gives u the option to stay in the US and still have that international vibe.
Thank you very much! And so cool of her!!
Completely unrelated but taylor with curtain bangs is a fashion statement and this is the push i needed to cut my hair for no reason
Oh my gosh you're too kind
Yes, since Covid crime has risen but based on the fact that 8 million people live here, statistically it is still very low.
Hey T: superb blog: totally agree with your NY concept- I was the same when I moved to London at 20 and have never looked back- keep going and challenging yourself- you are smashing it !! X
THANK YOU! Glad to hear you're had the same experience 😊
Great work.
Couldn't agree more! And thank you so much:)
I prefer the quieter small town living. I enjoy visiting New York through your videos. The small corner grocery stores and coffee shops are so different from my experiences.
Would love to trade places with ya from time to time! Thanks for visiting via my videos 😊
I’m way too introverted to excel in NYC 😂
But that’s okay. I get a taste of it from the comfort of my own home by following great content creators like you.
Hahah fair enough!! Glad you're getting your dose through my videos 😊
I live in Woodland Hills ,Ca and I plan my move to NYC this spring 2023🎉can’t wait
I was in NYC 2 times and absolutely love it.
When I was there ,there is a strong ,positive energy coming to me I don’t know what it is but I feel so happy lol I was eating ice cream at Times Square at 8pm and was enjoying like I was in the heaven lol but not in Chicago not in la ,not in Miami I have the same.only in NYC
People compare their houses to nyc apartments but in what state is it :Texas ?North carolina ?even in San Diego I wouldn’t want to live .I feel nothing,Florida is too hot and too many creepy creatures.
You can have a 40,000 square ft mansion but if you are not happy nothing will help you,
And also we came to these planets and when we are gone all the big houses ,Money ,Luxury cars ,they are all staying here.People won’t take anything lol I believe some ppl say stuff like that but inside deep in their soul they really want to be in NYC .I am so happy for you.Explore ,learn ,Do everything you can cuz all we can take up there along with our souls are memories!
Aw I love this! So excited for you to move also!! I'm from Granada Hills so I'm back and forth between the two also ahah 😊 I hope you love the big city as much as I do, best of luck to ya 🥳
@@TaylorBell oh yeah we are neighbors haha ,I absolutely love the city.I just need to find some friends there for Coffee and food lol
Such intentional and thoughtful and hilarious filming!!!!
Thank you kween!! :') 💜
This made me smile!!! Thank you for sharing my humor 🙈
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Always nice to get others' perspective. Living in NYC isn't for everyone but those who do love it there.
Taylor Bell you made my day 1000x better and happier just by up loading a video I love you & you go girl!💯⭐️🤩❤️❤️❤️
YAYYY HAPPY TO HEAR IT!!
Exactlyyyy. Hope you're loving it today 😊
Yes indeed!😊
An ace communicator! Really enjoy all the little 'bits and pieces' you throw together in the videos, keeps it all bopping along and I find it thought provoking, which is no bad thing right?🤔😄 The occasional blooper and your attempts at recovery always get a laugh.
Aw thank you so much!! So glad you enjoyed!!
I can see myself living in NYC (temporarily). I feel like it’s a great place for young adults!
You are becoming a waaay better natural vlogger. It is very refreshing to see. Happy Thanksgiving!
aw thanks so much!! happy thanksgiving to you!
Thanks 🆙
I've always said everyone should live atleast a year in NYC when they're young!
I’m sure glad I have!
Just got back home, tired. Watching your video is so relaxing! Also, kinda makes me wanna go back to NYC to visit (in summer). Beautiful city.
aw I'm glad! It's great in the summer
Born and raised in NYC and still live here. I've traveled alot globally though.
I've always said I'm not going back to New York until I can stay forever. It's always too hard to say goodbye because I feel like I'm missing out on so much stuff.
aw yeah I get that feeling too
Me: when is Taylor going to upload a new video? Just happened to check my page: Yay! She’s back.
How about that for timing!
Born and raised in NJ ! I love NYC ! The 🏙️ is in my blood ! Btw, Nice channel 😊
Cheers from San Diego California
Grew up in manhattan, left for college, and now am back working and could not agree more with what you said. Especially your thoughts at 5:50 lol.
Good morning Taylor
I’ve just rewatched your vlog and have decided to visit NY in 23, why may you ask! Well Taylor it goes to say I have been blown away by the central NY bus which is clearly in abundance in your town. I also would like to see the city high rise residential towers which make NY so appealing to live in..
FYI
I’m a construction project manager in London and build these similar towers in London albeit only to 12 storeys- I also love the old NY down town architecture which is very similar to London Westminster/Pimlico area.
Catch up soon
Phil x
hope you enjoy it!!
Some people don’t want to grow and just want be comfortable and there’s nothing wrong with that either
Your energy is wonderful. I just wanna cry all the time.
aw thank u!
Hey Taylor,
It's really refreshing to watch your videos. It's been like 10 months, watching your vlogs. You never disappoint your audience. Content is great. With every single video we get know something new. Your communication skill is so captivating, editing is great😃👍
Thank you for delivering such a good content.
Your turtle fan🐢
Appreciate this soooo much, thank you 🐢 😊
Another excellent video!
Totally agree, if you are always comfortable, you are not growing
Facts!!
Been watching your channel for about a good few months now. I really look forward to watching your videos and seeing the energy and time you put into them! What are some ways to make new friends/network in NYC?
As lifetime NYer always appreciate hearing the perspective of someone who just moved here
Also let me explain this we move fast we get the shit done fast, because ultimately it's more time at home with family and not worrying about shit we didn't do.
Hehehe.
It’s true i must say, people have been in the christmas spirit much earlier than usual… i love it. I wish it could be christmas all year round 🎄🎁
Hi Taylor!!
Just want to say that I’ve been enjoying your uploads. Keep it up ❤️
So glad!! Thank you!!
Thank you for this fantastic overview of living in a city I’ve always wished I was living in.
Moved to NYC end of July, been having the time of my life. Y'all will get it when you move here! 🍂
T - I'm visiting LA for 2-3 days during the Christmas break and it's my first time in Cali. Recommendations? xD
Love to hear it!! Santa Monica, Malibu, Griffith Observatory 😊
I visited NYC for the first time last month for my 25th birthday. I loved it! Definitely going back
Your energy is really contagious! I'm brazilian and improving my english with your videos while I have so much fun. Tks for that!
Also, CENTRAL PARK does Really do the City of New York a Huge favor and to its people; it's like an Oasis in the desert. I used to enjoy my days at Central Park. And, The Grand Central Station in NYC is fun to watch. LOL
gotta love central park!
Agreed!
Gahhh thank you 🙈 DARN haha maybe we’ll run into each other next time
I'm definitely not a city person (I tried) and wouldn't like all the competition honestly... but I love your videos to see the differences!
Fair enough!! It can be overwhelming at times for sure
i have been waiting for a new video and when i saw that you posted my face just lit up lol
This made my day. Thank you for the feature and the great video, as always!
Happy to hear it. Thanks for being you!!
When are you going back to Brooklyn? When you do please be sure to visit the Four and Twenty Blackbirds pie shop on 3rd avenue. And try a slice of their Salted Honey Pie....trust me!
I really enjoy seeing the world through your eyes. Thanks for the content and Happy Gobble Gobble Day to you and yours
Aw what a nice comment. thank you so much, and to you also 😊
Thankyou once again for sharing the experience and I agree on the shoe box. But the thing is that I the shoe box is quite big and spacious with alot of natural lights and views are wowwwwwwwww
We all strive to grow but it is our confort level which stops us from growing just like plants, they with all different factors to grow and some extra factors to grow faster and become jungle :D
I am happy that you have identified your growth because alot of people only dream of growing, but due to some hurdles of their thoughts, are unable to grow.
Got to visit New York for Christmas last year and absolutely loved the Bryant Park setup there. The hot chocolate with the toasted marshmallows was 🔥, highly recommend.
YES it's the best!!
Groovig on down in nyc … Probably the fastest paced city in the world . Idea scenario place in both cali and nyc.. Not a foodie., more of a “ I like pie and pile it high “ type of gal , for the most part I’m much the same ..
