Not counting travels and when i'm wonton'ing it, a perfect rest day for me is to spend some hours reading, playing the guitar, walks, go for a drive around town and blast some songs, then spend another hours learning and brainstorming about future life goals, investments and of course, wonton it! :)

My reset day is usually doing nothing for all day and just watch Netflix, read fiction (recently read Verity too and was about to start the silent patient!), and get boba tea!!

My favorite reset has become the Met Opera and Carnegie Hall in NYC. Music in NY is at a whole other level of greatness. I live/work in DC so a trip to the Met is a complete reset for me.

@@donaldrichards3373 I would think non "business focused" jobs could include: health care, education, engineering, design, fashion, agriculture, and labor work ect. More so meaning jobs like consulting and finical jobs have a kinda yuppie persona surrounding them.

As a paramedic working in 24hrs shifts it's always great to come home and spend time with my dogs. Walking, running, hiking with them. Sounds boring but it's the quality time I need...

We seem to have similar thoughts on what makes a good reset day! I also live in NYC, and my favorite thing to do when it’s nice is to go read a good book with an iced coffee in Brooklyn Bridge Park. 🤩

As a consultant like yourself, some of the stuff that I do on my reset is travel, even though as a tourism consultant, I do get to travel a lot, but often I don't get to go to places that are near to me. This weekend I was in NY attending the earth festival at Hudson Yards, and I was literally thinking about your vlogs there haha!
I also do youtube and travel vlogs but have been finding it so difficult to strike a balance, but I will be taking inspiration from you to be more consistent :)

I have to say your vlogs are fascinating. I love them. What I do to recharge from work and life is I read and exercise and cook. I really enjoy cooking but it’s weird that I don’t like cooking for a bunch of people. Just myself and a handful of friends at the most but it does relax me so that’s a good thing. Keep doing the vlogs and be happy. That sounded awkward. 😂

I live in a very old house. Reset day for me is fixing some nagging issue that walk past day in and day out and get telling myself that one day I need to fix that thing. I never run out of things to fix. Don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing lol.

This one hit home. I took Monday and Tuesday off to reset. Didn't hit up TJs but did go to California Chicken Cafe. If you haven't tried it you really should. Combo wrap with wheat bread is my go-to.

Have to say my favorite reset is probably a day at the beach when ever possible. It just calms me. I think the next best thing would probably a nice walk or sitting on patio during the nicer weather. Unfortunately I don't have a pool but luckily, I can escape to the warm weather every few months so this is a big plus! FYI, I am a real one😁😁😁😁😁

Run, coffee, then work on something for myself rather than my work while I have a lot of focus - this way I can be productive then guilt free leisure after. Probably cook a new meal as well to keep expanding my skills in the kitchen, or a favorite meal I don't normally have time to make
At the beginning of my professional life I was a wildland firefighter, then I became a restaurant manager. I got my Top Gun certification. I ran two restaurants one cross from the other and when I had time off I would go fishing, hiking, bicycling anything outdoors. I always tried to have my stuff together including house chores before I had my days off so I could go do those things or nothing at all because I was constantly busy constantly traveling literally out of my head busy. So there was times I did absolutely nothing just to save my own sanity

Love The Tay ! So entertaining and funny :)) I took a week off and I played games on twitch and I went for walky poos and to roam around different stores. I like the food section of the videos. The other day I was looking for the right dates cause I learned that some are more juicy than others 😄

We both graduated in 2020, got jobs directly after college, felt a bit bored with our jobs *but still won't quit, lol*, and decided to find a hobby to fill in the new free time since school is done and work is Mon-Fri.
I recently began my channel, aside from videos I had to post for school, so I know the time it takes to edit these videos. Again, thank you! I guess I wrote all of that to ask if you can make a video about how you create your UA-cam scripts? Your videos are very organic and are always fun to tune into. I would love to know how you create the structure of things!

Hey Taylor, your dogs are awesome! Normally I go on a walk, do some cleaning or I go to the golf driving range to reset as I find it helps to put my mind off work. I find resets are so understated in the workplace and are so important for avoiding burnouts! P.S. what brand are your trainers, I've been looking around for nice looking simple trainers like those!
