This image can be confusing. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all heading in different directions, indicating that they could do things independently of each other. I've found a better image for me to understand the trinity is that or a Siamese twin, which is 2 people and 1 person at the same time. But whatever one person does, the other person does. In the same way, whatever God does, all 3 members of the trinity are involved.
Respectfully, A mathematical equation can show the fallacy of the Trinity. If a=b and b=c then a=c. If the Father is God and God is the Son, then the Father is the Son. Which means that Jesus sacrificed himself to himself to save us from himself. And that’s why I’m not a Christian.
Right. And the graphic doesn’t help anyone understand the Holy Trinity. Imprecise language. God remains a mystery. It does help one understand the Christian/Biblical doctrine of the Holy Trinity.
I come in my father's name. If you hath seen me you hath seen the father. The father will send the holy Spirit in my name. All 3 of those names are Jesus.
The Spirit preceeds from the Father and to/through Jesus. The Father alone is God, as Jesus himself uttered according to John 17:3, "This is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." We find that Jesus, in heaven, still calls the Father "my God" (Rev. 3:2, 3:12). Does God have a God? No. Jesus has a God and Father because he is the beloved Son of God, and also our brother, the firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15). Creator = he who made everything Creation = that which has been made
It should be flipped the other way with God the Father at the top and the son and holy sprint at the bottom corners. Holy Spirit never precedes from the son only the father.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we find it quite simple to explain really. We believe the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are part of the Godhead, that they are one God in purpose. Jesus Himself prayed in the New Testament that His disciples would be one as He and His father are one. I don't think Jesus wanted Peter and James to merge into one essence, rather we learn a sacred truth here. That they have unity. We just believe they are one God while being three separate beings. This was easily seen when God the Father and His son Jesus Christ appeared to the 14 year old Joseph Smith in 1820. We learn this simple truth. The Spirit has not a body of flesh and bones as the Father and the Son each do.
1. Who did Moses talk to when receiving the 10 commandments? 2. Who is the Son of Man that is worshipped as and like God? 3. Who did Abraham speak to before Sodom and Gomorrahs' destruction? 4. Who was "The Lord that sent fire from the Lord in heaven" during said Sodom and Gomorrahs' destruction? These should guide you towards the truth, if you're willing.
So many Christians do not understand this important doctrine. Thank you for bringing it up.

Colossians 2:9 - For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily

Icons are not to be worshiped. GOD is in everything do not be confused by icons or translations of this god or that god.
Beautiful piece of artwork.
But the three are separate identities.
Read the Tanakh. There can only be one God, not 3 in 1.
You fundamentally misunderstand the Trinity if you think it's "3 gods in 1"
@@the.orthodox.photographer2272Unitarians utterly failing to grasp basic Trinitarian dogma #74
Can't be. 3 don't make 1. Go and reference the 1st commandment please. You all spin some stories to try to make this work and it still NEVER WORKS lol
"3 don't make 1". Um. 3 of one thing can't make 1 of a different thing? Is this your first day on earth?
Are Siamese twins two people or one person?
@@Mic1904 why did jesus pray to the father?
@@TC-gt5qg Why wouldn't He pray to the Father? The clue's in the name - He's the Father...
@Mic1904 so then they aren't equal and therefore your whole trinity falls apart.
