I love how much footage there is of Nero's time in Rura Penthe
I love the Kelvin designs! I dare to hope that one day we'll see a Kelvin Excelsior... one day.
You never know :)
Well if they described the original Excelsior as a "big ship" then imagine how much bigger a Kelvin Excelsior would be.
Always liked the kelvin movies,,the kelvin constitution is some bruiser.also very sleak looking.. another great video..
Thank you so much Jase :)
In my opinion the new ship and new theme music are the best things to come from the Kelvin timeline.
Excellent video as always! I love these Beta-Canon videos.
I have to admit, I didn't care for the Kelvin Constitution class redesign when I first saw it, but it grew on me and now I love it. Love the movies too, and hoping for a 4th one!
Right on! And thank you for the support :)
There needs to be a series set in the kelvin timeline
I actually have a fan series idea in the works It's called Star Trek Roddenberry which starts 3 years before the events of the 09 Trek movie. More to come soon.
I mean technically enterprise is in tbe kelvin timeline
Sorry Isaacisaperson, you are incorrect... There is NO series set in the Kelvin Universe technically or otherwise!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Nero split the timeline after enterprise took place meaning enterprise took place in both timelines
@@Isaacisaperson4677 That's right, BUT the Kelvin Timeline doesnt start UNTIL the split, thereby, again, making your statement wholly incorrect!
I have my Vulcan Death Grip affixed firmly to the ledge of that cliff I'm hanging from. I'm so looking forward to the next one.
Thank you!
Thank you SO much Jaspr :)
I can not believe how much I love your channel
Thank You some Very Interesting Stuff ;
Nice! This makes the movies make way more sense!
i absolutely love the Kelvin Constitution Class. Was eyeing my playmates model across the room first thing when I woke up today, admiring its design. With the stylish form factor of the origional Enterprise and the beauty of the refit, its a good balance between the two. I'll never forget starting the slow clap in the theater opening night when her big reveal came which the rest of the IMAX theater room joined in the applause and cheering the Enterprise in all her splendid glory.
Any time I hear that intro beat, I know it's gonna be an episode I love.
I LOVED this video! Looking forward to part 2!
Woild have been nice to have all this cool and logical info IN the movies
People give the JJ Movies a lotta shit, and that for the most part is a matter of pure opinion, but there's one thing I think those films deserve a lotta credit for, even if the stories or the characters do nothing for you. The way they shot the ships I thought was incredibly dynamic and interesting. Watching Trek, you get used to seeing The Enterprise from the same couple of angles all the time. It woulda been easy for JJ to take his cues from the show when deciding how to direct the ships on screen, but he did something very different and very interesting with it instead. Made The Enterprise (and by extension, all the ships in those movies) look and feel completely new and different, and I'll always applaud that.
I love these early design videos
I'm so glad! Im always so hesitant when it comes to me piecing together, adding and creating these stories! :)
This is so great!!! Thank You :)
i love these beta canon videos. 1000 something-th like.
Fascinating
Some of the things I do like about the Kelvin movies were the ship designs.
The enterprise looked more akin to the tmp refit which is among my favorite designs. And I'm a deep lore nut so I really do love these kinds of videos.
Glad you're enjoying them :)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios do have a question though. In your video about the enterprise-e I know you said worf took command. But I also know he became ambassador to kronos at the end of ds9. Shouldn't he have left Starfleet because of that?
I ask because in nemesis he's still in Starfleet. So is there any more explaining this?
There is no official explanation for this, however, in Beta Canon it says he didnt enjoy the position and returned to Starfleet!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios I see.
It makes sense and fits as we know that Worf is back in Nemesis!
Another great video can't wait for part 2!
Glad you enjoyed it! :) And soon :)
Easily the most underrated ship in trek.
I love the design, and am 100% Ok with it existing in another timeline :)
A kelvin sov would be awesome
This adds more to why the constitution was so much more advanced although the way its explained it really wasn’t that much more advanced then the tos. If we consider how they get little to no luck with scans. The ship was just built much bigger which in theory makes sense it was just to big. It’s also interesting to know that Nero and his crew got stuck for 20 years in a complete different timelines past. I always thought they just went back to the future. Also nice to see those extra scenes good video.
Another great video. I like the way you bring in the number 47 when talking about the number of star ships.
Glad you like them! :)
Dude, you are rocking these Beta Canon videos. Love your spin on how things came to be.
Live long and prosper 🖖🏼
Awwww thank you so much Mike :)

Thank you for putting out all of this awesome content. IDIC
Tune in next week lol... The classic trek cliff-hanger.
LOL I try :)
Such a great opening to a movie. Did not expect the gut punch it gave us
Where did you get the additional footage? (the klingons capturing the romulan crew etc) ¿deleted scenes from ST 2009?
Yes it's deleted footage from Trek 2009 :)
Ah, a cliffhanger episode?! Nicely done!
I have to wait till next week? Noooooooo!
LOL :)
hey bro just found your channel, SUPER AWESOME dude, im a massive trekkie been watching since i was 5yrs old im 26 now. looking forward to checking out your other videos. :)
if you have not already done one - do one about the USS Enterprise (unknown hull number) from the Kelvin timeline that April commanding from the Comic books
Also, for what this ship is intended to be, I think the Kelvin Intel Constitution class is an elegant, powerful starship in its class of starship.
It almost has the chance of rivaling the Sovereign Class Enterprise-E and the Galaxy Class Enterprise-D.
The Odyssey class, on the other hand...
Well, that remains to be seen.
Im complicated with the Kelvin timeline but i do like it
Ingenious !
Thank you!
I have a model of the 2009 Enterprise, it has a crack on the right Nacelle, and for years I have been trying to fix the crack... though I think I have finally fixed it with Krazy Glue... or in universe, Starfleet bonding welder...
This design slowly grew on me although I still don't like the way a lot of it is shaped...it's just off to me. I definitely prefer the Enterprise-A that we saw at the end of Star Trek Beyond. I have a 3D printed model of that and it's definitely a lot better. Although not keen on how the secondary hull is shaped but it's a major improvement over the original model from the first two movies.
Brilliant beta canon story!
Thank you so much :)
kelvin connie is great, though i never did like how thin the ship looked at a front angle, pylons should def be angled down or smthn, closer to the TOS connie's angle
Although I do not like the Kelvin constitution class, I do enjoy this background and look forward to next week. (In the voice of the person that did the voiceovers for the next generation: next time on Truth or Myth beta canon!)
2:37 - So, let me see if I understand this:
So, Alexander Marcus arranged for the Kelvin Constitution Class starship AND (secretly) his very own Kelvin Intel Dreadnought class starship, because he believed that the Nerada - a Romulan starship with advanced weaponry that doesn't exist yet - was ITSELF a weapon developed by the Klingon Empire?
This may seem like a stupid question, but...
Does Alexander Marcus have THAT big of a hate-game with Klingons, is he that desperate to start a war with Klingons, or was he just being paranoid? 🤨🤷🏾♂️
Like the Kelvin Constitution Class and the Kelivn Timeline. our Beta Canon schould Alpha Canon von the Kelvin Timeline.
I like Kelvin movies 1&3. Anything for Commodore April?
what star trek movie is it that shows nero been held captive and interrogated by the klingons? as shown from 6:12 to 6:52, i havent watched the star treks with christopher pine for a while so my memory is a bit foggy lol
The Kelvin timeline is fun. Didn't enjoy very much Into Darkness, but i really liked Beyond. However the Enterprise design is not really to my liking, mostly due to the nacelles and their pylones; kinda ironic considering i really enjoy some of the federation designs we see during these films.
Where did you got these clips of Nero and the klingons from? I never saw them
Where did all of this footage come from with Nero & his crew imprisoned on Rura Penthe ? Is it from ST:Discovery, or is it from an extended version of ST:Into Darkness ?
It was deleted Scenes from Into Darkness!
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios Thanks much ! I didn't have the money to blow on the DVD of ST: Into Darkness, and I really didn't want to spend the cash once I'd seen it & realized that it was a really lame version of STII: TWOK.
However, I really admire the way that you wove the deleted footage into your narrative, it made the viewing all three of the related videos into an excellent piece of potential Star Trek history.
If the network would hire people like you & others who create Star Trek fan content that's far superior to watch than anything the network currently puts out, then they might actually have shows that are worth watching. Keep up the fantastic work !!
I really didn't like the interior of the Kelvin Enterprise, especially engineering. Why would there be such large, open spaces on a space ship where a hull breach could, in this case, take out hundreds of people at once.? Also, engineering looked like, well, a large room where beer is brewed. The outside of the ship, however, I think was ok.
The Engineering Section Scenes were actually shot at an actual beer brewery. Anheuser-Busch in San Diego. That’s why there are overhead cranes marked in thousands of pounds and not in kilograms.
Is all that footage deleted scenes from Star Trek 2009?!
A LOT of it yes :)
@@TriAngulumAudioStudios man I would have loved to see it in the movie, especially the Klingon prison part.
Captain Anderson, is that the same one though as we knew him as Admiral Anderson of the europa from the Discovery Premiere? and I have to admit it took me a fair bit to try and remember the ships name, I knew it was Nimitz class and took me a fair few minutes to remember his ships name without resorting to looking it up, just to get those little grey cells working.
You Trek tease, ha ha, what a way to end an episode. I look forward to the next part.
I personally dislike the Kelvin Constitution class, the Vengeance looks better suiter but the Connie, no, it might look larger and cleaner that the prime timeline version but the support structures look even weaker and the nacelles too bulky for the pylons and the pylons themselves look thinner too, target the nexk and nacelle pylons and thats it crippled, even with fusion reactors for impulse engines its a lost cause.
I love to tease, and yes, it WAS Admiral Anderson ;)
What were the Niro in prison scenes from?
Deleted Scenes from Trek 2009!
I enjoyed the Kelvin timeline. I take it as a "What If...?" scenario for the entire Trek universe. Still, not a fan of the Kelvin Connie. I prefer the design of the Kelvin USS Aegis, and think THAT should have been the Enterprise.
LLAP
Yeah, I have no problem with the Multiverse aspect of Trek :)
Where did you get the video of the Naradas crew in Rura Penthe? Was all of that in some DVD extras or deleted scenes?
Indeed, deleted scenes :)
While the Kelvin timeline isnt my favorite. At least she still holds the iconic look of the original ship. Meaning a saucer section, neck and secondary hall. While the neck is a weak point. The Vonstitution class is what I think of the most when it comes to a federation starship and other classes with a simular configuration. I'll admit I'm not big on the arrow shaped Starfleet vessels that started with Voyager. I like the Odyssey class though because it kind of brought the neck back. In a new unique way. By putting a neck on each side connecting the primary hull to the secondary hull.
not sure where the stardust stops and starts, but at least some of the Neo in prison on Rau Penta (um ok let me google that spelling), Rura Penthe. Is cut scenes from the movie, sounds like it would have been interesting.
🖖😎👍Very cool and very nicely well done and executed in every detail way shape and form provided to you and very well informatively explained by you indeed, But my problem with it's design is that the curved pylons to the nacelles are way too far forward and the engines looks like there going to snap off every time it goes to warp and I'm not a big fan of the Blue bussard collectors as well!...
Great video, as always.
One question: Does the Nerada crew plot being helded on Rura Penthe is taken from Discovery show? With part of the footage too?
No it's from the actual Movie, Star Trek 2009... Deleted Scenes
I loath the Kelvin Constitution class. It's like a 1990's Ford Taurus mated with the TOS Enterprise. 😜
Are you going to get in to the Conny v the Conny II designs as seen in the comics? If i remember correctly it was the Planet of the Apes xover w/ Robert April in command of the original connie design being 'lost' and a new connie design connie II bbeing created to replace the Ent.
I have no plans for that at the moment, but Ill look in to it :)
Amazing analysis, some how section 31 could have discovered the Narmada and the Kilingons battle over Rua Penta and keep the battle secret until the destruction of Vulcan.
Can we get a new start with Leonardo Decapreo as Kirc
Sorry for the spelling
Where did all of this footage of Nero and his crew on Rura Penthe come from?
Deleted scenes from Star Trek 2009
Oh man,
I'm the 666th person to like this video (I try to hit like on all these) I guess it has to be somebody.
Odd how in TOS George Kirk was never in Starfleet but then....but I guess they said the changes that created the Kelvin universe went backwards more than forwards in time.
That isnt true, the going backward thing... Up to the point the Narada came through the anomaly, the Timeline WAS the Prime Timeline... As for George Kirk not being mentioned, why would they? Unless they had a specific story which dealt with Kirks Father it wouldnt make sense to have mentioned it. I mean I dont go around an mention my Fathers History in every conversation I have :P
Also, there are many times things are never mentioned, IE Sybok :P But Beta Canon has ALWAYS maintained that George Kirk was a Starfleet Officer!
Meh, I like your narrative for this. I don't really like the Kelvin timeline.
Just gonna say I'm NOT a fan of the Kelvin Constitution...
Well everyones entitled to their own opinion :) #IDIC
Nice video 👍🏾 hideous ship👎🏾
Sorry, the Kelvin timelines don’t exist in my book it’s not Star Trek nor is this the Enterprise
Sorry, but your book doesn't exist and you're not that important! The Kelvin Universe exists AND That IS it's Enterprise, and nothing you say, or think, will ever change that!
One of the ugliest ship designs in Star Trek.
Not even in the slightest!
Just my opinion, I think it's the worst connie design in Trek. Too curvy, poor symmetry.
Lol you are always entitled to your opinion, but symmetry is symmetry, and the symmetry is perfect... So maybe you meant another word?
God, how I hate those ships and those movies…
