In this video we finish stripping the rear end of our C3, to include removal of the differential and associated frame mount. We also reassemble the driver's side trailing arm after the bearing preload was set in the previous video.

Excellent job sir. The undercarriage of that C3 is really going to look nice once you are finished.

It's great to see you finally expressing yourself rather than continually bottling things in. You know guys in our age group can't bottle ish up. We just have to let it out 😏😏

The spec read dry will always be more than after packing the bearings…the grease takes up some clearance.

I use the parking brake. I guess I don't want to destroy the park paul in my transmission. Funny enough with new cars they get parking brake action whether they want it or not. I suspect the tolerance is fine on the bearings.

Yeah all the new cars I rent have automatic parking brakes. Good point.

Well, my Eaton lifters were made in Mexico. So apparently not EVERYTHING is still made in USA. And they were trouble. They were sold under the Melling brand, who also claims all their stuff is made in USA. So there's some finger pointing going on there...or so the guy at Melling customer service told me...
