I've dived this spot so many times only to find less than 1m of vis on the bottom. Its great for grey mackerel and trevalley. Be careful of the sharks, I had one bite my fin there when I was wrestling a golden trevalley to the surface.
Yeah it’s not ideal. I was really hoping for some good fingermark. The sharks are definitely well adapted there. If it’s not stoned it’s gone very fast.
@@CAINIT fingermark were there 5-10 years ago but few and far between now. Been a bit too flogged by spearos and line fishermen using plastics.
Very good guys , very fishy spot , you still got some good eating fish there , well done , shame the water quality was a bit poor but that fishing lol.

Have driven past this wharf so many times on the way out to the islands and reefs, but have never thought to jump in out of fear of what’s down there in that dirty murky water.
There is plenty of murk that’s for sure. Also lots of big dark shadows. 😂

what wet suit would your recomend and what mm in cairns I need a new one.
1.5mm for most of the year. Waihana is what I’m wearing currently and it’s a great suit.

Hey mate, we both have custom guns we have tinkered with.
The base guns are from Aimrite, if you see Travis from aimrite I’m sure he will be able to help you out with a 110 roller. Very good guns.
