Hector from Fenty beauty spilled today that if you’ve got oily skin powder foundations will appear darker and also on top of liquid foundations it’ll appear darker... just a lil tip I caught ya’ll so he recommended you go a shade lighter

Great video -420 is your summer shade. I do really like the Charlotte Tillsbury spray - she is a wonder - but I find that I like to use a light hand and not overdo it with her cause she is perfection with just a light all over layer. I know with some other sprays like (my usual Mac) I can sometimes go a bit overboard - but with Charlotte, a little works wonders.

I have the CT spray, but it's on par with the Smash Box setting spray, and that costs less. Aaliyahs Face put me on to it - before we had to wear masks, it was locking makeup DOWN!
That’s what I love about the ct spray, I just got it recently and noticed that my makeup shits a lot less

Smash box spray breaks me out so I only have the CT option it’s pricey since I wear makeup to work daily
This powder looks really good and it has a nice amount of coverage. I like 420 because it added nore life to your face. More of a warmth. Whereas 410 was a very spot on match...

Wooow girl it looks so good on you! I’ve never worn powder foundation bc I have dry skin 😩 I’m using the fenty hydrating foundation now but am thinking about picking the powder up 🤔 ALSO I’ve heard so many ppl rave about the Charlott tilbury setting powder and setting spray! Haven’t tried either yet; I rotate between fenty and Laura mercier for powder and morphe and urban decay for spray. My wallet though 😩😭😭 anyways thanks for the review! New subbie 💕 let me know which setting powders and sprays you’ve tried and if I should try out the tilbury!

410 looks like an exact match, but 420 warms up your skin immediately...the shade of the concealer probably has some impact on the finish of the powder foundation though....interestingly, the 420 didn’t look any different 👌🏾 Thanks for this video💯

I'm 450 during the summer and 420/410 with golden/pink undertone on my cheeks/forhead in Canadian Winter. The 410 (for highlight) and 420 is juste perfect for my early spring sun.

You applied the powders with two different brushes (one was more dense than the other) so your results are not consistent. A denser brush packs it on more, making the color a bit more concentrated.

I have all her stuff I have oily skin so what I do put setting spray on first let it dry then put powder it set on your skin dry all day and don't oily or shiny look nice 🎶

The light must be washing out the color because I didn’t see a difference in the shades tfs

What brush are you using to apply the foundation?
I did a full face of Fenty yesterday to see if the shade 430 really matches me as well as I thought it did (I’ve finished one and repurchased it, so I must like it) and it actually looks a little light, so for that reason I stayed with 430 so that if it’s a little darker it will balance out. It’s should be here January 4th, but if it’s too dark, I will return it for 420. Sometimes we wear the same shade Jasmine, so I’m a little worried, but it’s fixable.
For us to have spent the majority of 2020 wearing a mask, some really, Really good foundations released this year! A lipglosses/lipstick too, I made myself stop buying lipgloss. I recently got the Beauty Blender concealer, the Dose of Colors concealer, and the J. Cat Beauty concealer, and all three are Excellent, 🔥!

I too gave up on lippies I’m no UA-camr so no one that sees my lips cares i.e kids and hubby 😂 rest of the time I’m in a mask 🤷🏽♀️ now that dose of color concealer is amazing! Have you tried her cream blush & do you think it would work with the powder?
@@tarnishermack94 The Fenty cream blushes is not one of my favorites, to me it sits on top of my skin. But I bought all of the Rare Beauty cream blushes that are matte except the lightest shade, and I have not considered how they will work with the Fenty foundation powder until your question! I really enjoy those blushes and I am wondering if they will break down my base. But when I get the powder foundation I will try it with the cream blush and come back and tell you how it went.

410 has a yellow undertone while 420 has a red undertone i think
Use the Smashbox cover fix photo finish setting spray weightless as your final spray and nothing will come off in your mask. Trust me! I like the powders but I won’t get them o already have Sephora Microsmooth and Charlotte’s powder. That’s are my holy grail.

Ooohh, I wear 450. I ended up going with 440, but it is a bit too red, so I just ordered 450 because I need a neutral undertone. I’m hoping it works lol
@@smileyshani2252 I thought my shade would have been 450 but it seemed too warm so I went a shade down (460). With the liquid pro filt'r I found it was best for me to get a shade lighter (450) because it would dry down darker than when applied. Do you feel like it is a bit hard to apply the powder foundation with liquid or cream highlighter/ concealer and getting everything to blend perfectly?

When I use a sponge for concealer, it takes up too much concealer. Is it the sponge quality? So I use brushes.
