No one set of settings cover every water type or conditions. I'm always changing my settings based on where I am fishing and the conditions, to get the best possible images.
Most trolling motors have an arrow. You have to make sure when you install it that the transducer is pointing perfectly straight and not off to the side!

Yep!! You’re definitely right! This is just the starting point I use, then adjust from there
OK, Do you cast in the direction the head is pointed. I get how far an all. I just installed lvs34 Garmin 126.

I see volts are 12.2...is that ok? Or does it need to be around 14
Works fine on mine! It all depends on what kind of battery you have and how old it is.
