@Max ... this is an excellent high school play ... if you want to see the original Princess Bride movie then buy it for $5 at Wall*Mart ... unless that exceeds your weekly allowance, of course!
Hey! Would you be willing to tell me where you got the script (or sell the one you have for a fee)? I'm having a difficult time finding one and my student are begging me to do it!
Hi, I was wondering if you would be willing to contact me about the Princess Bride production? Our high school wants to perform it but having trouble finding scripts and licensing/royalties info. Thanks!
I really appreciate the work you all put into this. It looked like a lot of fun! I have a question though. What did you have to do, who did you talk to, for the rights and royalties to preform the play? I have adapted my own version of the movie to fit our local theater and I don't know who to contact to make sure we don't get in trouble for preforming it. We are a non profit group, i'm hoping that will help.
It can be performed live! :) I'm in it right now... you have to use the movie script but it is an amazing and fun show. I hope you can figure out how to get them!
I would love to know how to get the rights, as well. I would love to direct this at my high school next year, even if we need to use the movie script. Can you give me information about how you got the rights to adapt it?
I was told by Goldman's lawyer that he doesn't allow it. You could probably do it, just don't advertise it. They've shut down other productions, though some have slipped through.

Good sword playing.

How exactly did you go by getting the rights to this production? I'm having trouble
I think they wrote it themselves
not sure how you got the rights. I've tried and tried and have been told that Goldman doesn't allow it to be performed ever.

Thanks, Jeff. It's too bad. And now Disney owns the rights to the screenplay, but that doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
Misleading title. This is a crap high school play and not the movie.
