Becoming Muslim is a series which will share revert stories and then discuss how our lives have changed since Islam. The purpose of this is to talk about our advice for anyone that is interested in, or considering accepting Islam.

Asalam alaykum and welcome to the Think Revert UA-cam channel which is all about the religion of Islam from a new comers perspective.
Due to the fantastic dawah available online, it is becoming more and more common for people to accept Islam without knowing, or having spoken to any Muslim people (This was the case with myself).
Without help and guidance, reverts can easily get overwhelmed with this new way of life.
Reverts also face serveral challenges such as:
- Family/Social Life
- Bad Habits/addictions
- Seeking the right knowledge
- Learning basic acts of worship like prayer and ablution
I am not a scholar, but I am trying to provide a UA-cam channel that I would have found extremely useful before and after I took my shahada.
In the future years of the channel, my current aim is to learn tawjeed to a level that would allow me to provide videos, teaching beginners how to read and recite the Quran.

Abdullah bin Salam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O people, promote the greetings, feed (the poor and needy) and perform Salat when others are asleep so that you will enter Jannah safely."
