This top is so cute! I think it'll try to make it with some adjustments, I just prefer a little more back coverage so I'd simply add a back panel. I can update if anyone is interested

Whenever I try to sew stretchy knit fabric, my machine just eats it up. It is so frustrating! Do you have any advise?
Could you do this with a linen or non stretchy fabric for a more rigid look or would it not work?
You can use rigid fabric just add an extra 1”
what fabric did you use?
I used a jersey knit fabric so like any 4 way stretch fabric works
