Let the record show I'm refraining from all the "kid in a candy shop" remarks I thought of. 🤣 Sounds like a lot of cool stuff on deck, can't wait to see some of these projects.
Mornin’ Willie, We got a touch of that cold white frozen nastiness down here in SC. Thankfully the ice stayed away. Thanks for taking us along to Colonial Williamsburg. Looks like a really fun place to explore for a history enthusiast. Can’t wait to see George in action. I purchased a cross country bike a few years ago to fish a river in some WMA land nearby that had some wide open logging roads not open to motorized vehicles but bicycle and foot travel was allowed. Most of that river is unfished due to to access issues and most folks not willing to put out the effort to get there. My second largest bass has come from this small river and I never go home skunked. Looking forward to seeing what you’ve built your bike into and getting some more ideas for mine. Hope all is well and thanks again for the content! Allan
@@ABurdenOutdoors , I can do without the snow and the cold.. I don’t mind taking a walk in it or watching it fall but I hate the way it all looks for a week or more, the cars look nasty, the roads look nasty..😝.. but it’s pretty to walk in😄. George is a classic and I’m looking forward to getting that thing out there.. I just ordered a new rear bag for it in matching burgundy. He’s gonna be a smooth fishing and exploring machine!! There’s lots of area to explore and fish at the campground, which that bike will be perfect for.. I’ve got so many reels to use this spring/summer I’m going to have to watch my own videos to remember them all😁. Thanks for watching!! Willie
Howdy Willie. We enjoyed the tour of Colonial Williamsburg. Those little spur-of-the-moment trips like that are so enjoyable. Miss Sophia really enjoyed the video too, especially the part in the candy store. : ) Hopefully your weather will clear up for you there before too long so you can spend more time outside. No chance for us here; we had 9 degrees this morning and they say we are heading towards an even colder weekend. Brrrrr! We seem to be burning a lot of wood in the wood stove these days, but we are staying nice and warm. Well, I gotta go, I'm smelling a red velvet cake that is just coming out of the oven. (Yep, she still spoils me after all this time!) Warm cake and a cup of coffee are my weakness! : ) Waiting and watching for the next video, so keep'em coming . . .we enjoy any video you publish! Now I'm headed towards the kitchen, YUM!
@@harryhoward3064 The Candy Store is awesome.. I’ve been going there since I was a small child. My mother took me to Williamsburg because it was free entertainment for and a big open place to run. If I was good while we were there, I got to go to the candy store. Man, Miss Sophia makes cakes?! I’ve got to make plans to come to New Mexico, 😄 I’m so ready for the cold weather to go away. Being stuck in the house or having the dress like an Eskimo all the time just gets old fast.. Be careful out there carrying that fire wood!! I’m glad you guys enjoyed the episode!! Tell Miss Sophia Howdy!! Willie
I really enjoyed this video, Willie, it's been a while since I visited Colonial Williamsburg, and it was nice to see it with snow! I hope I can speak for all of us when I say that we're all looking forward to a more prosperous, healthy and happy new year! Take care, be safe and stay warm!
@@christinerogers5331 I enjoyed making this video. It may not be what everyone wants or expects but it’s a nice break from the usual and it gets me outdoors like this channel suggests.. I’m hoping to make changes for the good of the channel this year and if I can’t pull that off, well, it might be time to move forward with life and be less stressed out about having to have a video out and just enjoy life.. I love entertaining and sharing my adventures with everyone but you can only visit so many antique shops and tear apart so many reels before you get a bit stir crazy. I believe by now I should have gotten my point across that you can have fun fishing with the oldies and don’t need to pay your last dollar at BPS to find good solid alternatives out there. I love doing it but it’s becoming a broken record. There’s more to the channel and myself and hopefully people will see it.. thank you for being so kind and faithful to us… Willie

If I could get this Arctic weather to go away, I could get my 2025 plans moving!! 😂
