Hey Mark On the inside of the Body I use the drywall tape and small amount of super glue on small cracks and tears! Helps alot and drys clear if you use good glue
Time to sit back relax and just clean some Rcs I do love running Rcs but rainy days inside just hanging out playing video games and watching movies sounds good to me. Have a Happy new years man.
I have the green/blue body on my new RTR XMAXX. Body isn't that nice anymore lol, but i also got the green ultimate edition body, with factory roof skid, for shelfqueening.
Not complaining about all the videos, my son and I have been enjoying all the content! I'm a believer in the Moo Slick after taking the TRX4 Traxx through mud the other day
An old toothbrush works good for me getting into the tighter areas where the crap builds up . Cow RC got some good stuff but I use plain ol silicone blaster and a paintbrush or wd 40 if I’m out or it’s was wet . Plastics have been legit for me since doing this , no breaks for a while now , almost 6 months so there must be something to conditioning the plastic arms .
Mark, put a max6 on your XRT, and XMAXX, i guarantee it will be faster, more torque. And more efficient, and heat up less, plus its not as expensive as traxxas 8S esc, Max6 is 8S
The max 6 1650kv combo runs cool for me with a 6s and 20t . Hottest temp was 125 according to the blue tooth and that was the esc 😂. Works good for me .
@ same, i just needa get some alluminum bulkheads, alluminum differential cover, and a servo, and a alluminum bellcrank to keep the weight down in the front, so i can use all,of the grip from the fromt wheels, cuz it just pulls wheelies, in on my XRT
PSA: you don’t need to use so many different cleaning products as long as you frequently clean/maintain your rigs. You can if you want them to look as new as possible for a while, but wear and tear is inevitable. Simple Green and an air compressor have been the only things I’ve used since I started club racing.
Nice your xmaxx body is sick its the same one i got yours looks nice and straight the tribal graphics 😎 mine was really crooked was off to one side so when u look down the centre of my truck the graphics are way off to one side but ya other then that i love my xmaxx i even contacted them with a picture and they said wasnt covered but ya cool rcs ....
Really? That sucks man. Traxxas is usually really good about that stuff. Even minor stuff like crooked body graphics. I mean especially since you paid $800-$1000 for it, depending on whether you caught it on holiday sale.

Pro tip mark... Spit on ur one finger that ur using shoe goo.. then spread won't stick to ur finger like that at all..
