Mark very sorry your track is closing. I am in Florida so not much winter. Out two outside tracks, River Rat closed at the beginning of Covid, and never reopened. I sold off all my cars back then. No place else to go. In 2023 I got back into RC and helicopters. But still no place to run. So I know how you are feeling! But it’s happened to a lot of us. 😊
Club racing is the heart and soul of a track. I have two season at my local outdoor off road before life got in the way then the track went indoor micro oval. Still a good time but not the same. If you only race at your local tracks for special races, start looking for a new local track.

Wow! That older guy right next to mark only has one arm and drives one-handed. That must be hard.
I've seen more than a few people with one arm racing. It's crazy. Serious props to them. It's crazy they also wrench on their cars

Go to your track, talk to the race director about which novice class has the most entries, then buy that from them if they have a hobby shop.
I just love race videos when your talking or giving play by.
