I don't normally like landscape books, but I loved your two choices, and that one of the artists used volcanic ash. And the architecture books are gorgeous. Thanks you!

Look into John Ruskin if you love architect. He was British in the 18 century, but he traveled to Italy and rendered the architecture beautifully.
