I wouldn't freak out at 230 km/h like James did but my car only goes 190 max. and it doesn't accelerate that fast. So anything above 200 with a fast acceleration is abnormal for me.

18:13 The crunchy bits are called diamond brown sugar. Idk if these are a thing in the US but it's basically big brown sugar lumps,.. or better huge solid bits :3 Glad you enjoyed the trip. Next time ask for Nürnburgring if you already enjoyed the Autobahn it's literally in the same area :p
been watching some of your videos last year and just found out that you finally got to go to germany. it brings me so much joy to watch you experiencing all of this. i love that you also got to meet julien :)
I am so happy to see you had fun here in Germany! I hope you come back someday and explore the more rural areas of the country. 😊 Hallo James! Du bist jetzt meiner Meinung nach Ehrenweiser Deutscher! ❤
Just love your enthusiasm at everything you discover. On the autobahn, one thing you probably didn't experience, even in a powerful Audi, is being on the left-hand lane, overtaking trucks, is seeing in the rearview mirror flashing lights coming from afar - a black Porsche speeding up to you and you trying to find a slot between trucks !!!
I live in Aachen too. Its so cool that you were in my hometown. Aachener Printen at christmastime are just the best! I am so happy for you that you finally made it to germany, i hope that one day in my life i will make it to the states 💖💖
Even for people who grew up in Germany it is hard to get used to high speeds when they drive on the Autobahn for the first time. I remember that I was very nervous and had sweaty hands when my driving instructor said "Take the onramp to the Autobahn over there." and I knew that this was a section without a limit. After about 2-3 training hours and entering/exiting the Autobahn roughly 20 times I felt way less nervous and nowadays driving my Tesla Model 3 way north of 200 km/h is just everyday routine. We Germans might be thinking that foreigners overreact a bit when it comes to being nervous on the Autobahn, but if we think twice, we almost all were nervous driving on the Autobahn ourselves for the first time. Of course most Germans don't remember the first time driving on the Autobahn in the passenger seat as a baby, but I guess you were as nervous as a German driver driving there for the first time.
You are so hilarious and fun. Be it praised that you could finally get to Germany. I wish (and trust) you will have a great unforgettable time here ❤ And kudos for your German pronunciation. It’s really good. Keep on going!
James is like a little kid who just met Santa,it's cute how such a big men acts like a kid. Stay like that James it makes you cool. And hey maybe you can visit germany again, then i could show you around the Black forest, if you want.
Dude i like you! your so polite and enthusiastic.. i like it. And damm, your German Knowledge is so ingressiv!
I had to laugh so hard when i saw the autobahn adventure 😂 This gave me so much joy. Can you imagine that german kids sleep in the backseat with no problems on the autobahn? 😂 I don't know why but autobahn naps are the best and still to this day i love to sleep in the backseat and i don't care how uncomfortable it is haha 😂
As I was younger, I was befriended to an American diplomat. He showed me to speed on the Autobahn. He drove 240 Km/h on a very rainy day, we've had sight of maximum 100 m. I never was that afraid before and never after. I tried to say that it might be a bit unsecure, but he just argued that he already had a few accidents with similar cars, they have very good security systems and he never got harmed.
Love to see you having so much fun in Germany, living one of your biggest dreams. The Autobahn reverse culture shock indeed must be huge. I still do not understand why the US does not allow 85 mph all across the country. Those 65 to 75 speed limits in most states look outdated to me as a German, considering the vast distances and the aforementioned wiiiide Interstates. 😁
As a German, it's funny to see someone who is so scared and at the same time so enthusiastic about 230 km/h.. :D
got lucky they weren't overtaken by a diesel estate car😂
230 ist schon schnell, auch als deutscher. Die meisten Autos machen 200 max.
As a baby I would only sleep in the car when my dad drove with 200km/h+ 😂 and I still like it haha

Julien seems a little bit shy about this adorable fanboy 🤭
It's absolutely lovely to see you with Julien. 💜💜💜
Btw: your german pronounceing is soooo good!
Hey james...Nice to see you in Germany. If you have the time, you should also take a look at Hamburg when you get a chance. For me the most beautiful city in Germany
no Frankfurt am Main is the most beautiful city in germany!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hamburg looks like trash
Aber nicht der Hauptbahnhof
James intends to visit Hamburg in November, when the weather is in best conditions for a visit. 🙂
München?
Dein Gesicht auf der Autobahn... Unbezahlbar... Dann das nervöse Lachen dazu... ❤ Dieses Erlebnis wirst du niemals mehr vergessen. 😜 🤜🤛
Love the vids man!
This dude came to Germany once and met nearly every Famous Youtouber there is in GER… insane that is so cool 😄😄
I love it
lol love your reaction to the Autobahn. Can't wait to see what other great experiences you have in Germany. Wonderful that you'll come to Leipzig, the big(ish) city with lots of green around. Hope you will like it here as well
This is so cool to see you with julien bam like he is really funny guy in his videos and he is a pretty big youtuber in germany as you probaly know
Man u just constantly laughing and having fun with them was such a joy to watch :D
You are so sweet and your laugh is so contagious :) It's awesome you had such a good time here in Germany!
It´s easier driving by your own than being the passenger. Love how much fun you have.
Can't relate to that when driving a BMW Isetta.
"In Germany we call that, Abstellkammer" That was Legendär Ju
18:13 The crunchy bits are called diamond brown sugar. Idk if these are a thing in the US but it's basically big brown sugar lumps,.. or better huge solid bits :3 Glad you enjoyed the trip. Next time ask for Nürnburgring if you already enjoyed the Autobahn it's literally in the same area :p
been watching some of your videos last year and just found out that you finally got to go to germany. it brings me so much joy to watch you experiencing all of this. i love that you also got to meet julien :)
James und Ju und “German Autobahn“ und Mettbrötchen 😍. Ein tolles und unterhaltsames Video 🙃.
Dudes pure positivity. Gotta love him ❤
I am so happy to see you had fun here in Germany! I hope you come back someday and explore the more rural areas of the country. 😊
Hallo James! Du bist jetzt meiner Meinung nach Ehrenweiser Deutscher! ❤
You seem like such a friendly, funny person. Btw, I love your laugh😂😂
I am so happy for you that you finally made it to germany, i hope that one day in my life i will make it to the states 💖💖
it's great to see you having a blast :)
really enjoy your vids :D nice to see that you met Julien
Man, you've got the most amazing, beautiful voice, when you're comfortable and chilling. You should look into doing voice overs for shows or ebooks ❤
Ich liebe deine "Lache"! So positiv, ehrlich & gibt direkt Energie 💪😁
Love your germany vlogs!
This video really entertained me. Please do more german content, it matches you
Love your genuine excitement and pure joy!
It gives me more perspective about how i should pay more gratitude to the things i have for sure.
U should design some merch for them , with ur drawing skills, u deserve to be on top !! 🎉 so happy to see this !:)
You are so hilarious and fun. Be it praised that you could finally get to Germany. I wish (and trust) you will have a great unforgettable time here ❤
And kudos for your German pronunciation. It’s really good. Keep on going!
James is like a little kid who just met Santa,it's cute how such a big men acts like a kid. Stay like that James it makes you cool. And hey maybe you can visit germany again, then i could show you around the Black forest, if you want.
damn he even met mark forster and is being driven around by him thats so cool
Dude i like you! your so polite and enthusiastic.. i like it. And damm, your German Knowledge is so ingressiv!
You made my day!😅 So funny to see you like this, seems like being on a rollercoaster 😂
Your laugh is really contagious, I hope you like it in Germany. :D
I had to laugh so hard when i saw the autobahn adventure 😂 This gave me so much joy. Can you imagine that german kids sleep in the backseat with no problems on the autobahn? 😂 I don't know why but autobahn naps are the best and still to this day i love to sleep in the backseat and i don't care how uncomfortable it is haha 😂
du bist der knaller - so authentic , i just love ya clips mate greetz from hamm - ruhrpott / germany
so funny to see, as a german, how u experience for me every day stuff for the first time and with so much joy
As I was younger, I was befriended to an American diplomat. He showed me to speed on the Autobahn. He drove 240 Km/h on a very rainy day, we've had sight of maximum 100 m. I never was that afraid before and never after. I tried to say that it might be a bit unsecure, but he just argued that he already had a few accidents with similar cars, they have very good security systems and he never got harmed.
lol. Omg
What an Idiot.
It's fun to Drive fast if you got no speed limit and free lane but driving 240 while raining and quite limited view, thats just suicidal.
@@Alternis127 It's also very dangerous for others. What a stupid mofo.
Let's just hope the cars he crashes into have a good security system too, hm?
Imagine if he was the "Mann im Mond"...
Bro er ist ja 24/7 am lachen 😂
Great Content and great Human ✌🏻 Keep it up James
I watched your reactions to Julien a few years ago, it's sooo cool that you're now visited him :D
Mad respect bro keep it up!
I love your content. I've been following you for 3 years. You are the bridge for a social media German-American friendship
Love the way Thomas just sileny laughed his ass off next to you, it's so funny and easy to watch your videos and cheer up!
