This helped me so much. I was already beginning to hate my newly bought kross 2 because there was no assignable knobs like my current x50. Thank you❤❤❤
Late, but it is the same procedure ! just replace Mod Wheel as source by SW 1 or SW2. Note that in this case the change is abrupt ! I personnaly prefer a switch too, and I found that using the Stereo Gate with intput Dmod ,slow attack and and slow release is ideal for me (I and Keep the modulation as it is programmed initially) The gate way allow to keep the volume initially programmed for the layer too.
@@frankgijselhart My one already has 1.2.1 and the 'quick selecting menu items with the pads' is not yet there... not sure if they will fix those section sooner or lated. The selection of programs, drums, arp, etc. with the wheel only is really annoying.
i have a ypg 235 and felt in love with it and it has an option to have a really high sensitivity that it doesn't matter how hard u press on keys they sound loud (which is what im used to). is the korg kross 2 able to do that?
KORG is too complex to use. I used Yamaha MO6 previously and it supports 4 voice layers, each has its own volume slider. Easy to adjust in real time. I bought a KROSS 2 recently (for its sounds) and had to use a volume pedal to control the volume of each voice (in my favorite banks). The purpose is to ensure no voice sound way too loud nor too soft. Volume pedal is not that expensive, it solves the volume problem.
I'm sure the content was was good; however your video quality was awful! You need to either increase the contrast of the Kross's LCD or change your lighting. I could barely read the display -- and I have a 24" monitor set to full-screen.
Nice to see this trick! Hope to see more patch ideas for KROSS 2 soon
Great walk-through. Cool tip. Thanks!

Marvelous! And we can do it whit knobs also... True?
That's great, I'll try it!
Any chance an old fashioned layer on, layer off can be programmed to the swtiches?

@@frankgijselhart Which version are you referring to? 1.2.1? Thanks

@@mirkomontaldo As aspected. Korg don’t do much for their users. There is a lot to desire but no OS updates from Korg.
Done it but still modulate the sound. How can i remove?
this is the same problem i cant figure out. have u figured it out?
I have the same question. But I don't know if this is a decent solution. Go to C-Timbre / OSC / OSC Select / Only OCS2
Man, that octave piano sound really good. I just follow your step. But still i can't get it. How do you make that sound good.
What is 107?!
Hi its cool but its blurd cant follow your step

too much work. you could get this effect in the xps 30 just by moving the sliders
This Keyboard is not user-friendly by no means! I know cause I have one...😢😮😢
