I am not a farmer but I totally respect appreciate you for your labor. Thanks for sharing these videos. Beautiful farm country. Must be in Iowa somewhere.
Appreciated the cool/imaginative camera setups you did here, showing us a different angle and perspective as you moved around the farm & completed your tasks. Making hay while the sun shines 🌞
Looking back all those years, when I was brought up on a farm, now living in a small city, when you were cutting, I could smell the new mown grass … the scent being brought up by the warm sunshine …. It evoked a lot of amazing memories. I like how, in the last field, it clearly showed the area of wild plants, grasses, etc. around the edge, left for the wildlife, insects etc.. … excellent stuff. Good stuff and much thanks :-) Best wishes, Steve, Bristol, U.K. 👍🏼😋 🐞
I know nothing about farming, so these videos are very interesting to me. It's refreshing to see a young man with such a good work ethic and mature beyond his years, taking a lot of responsibility for difficult and laborious tasks.
I loved watching this. And for me the best part was witnessing the pre-fieldwork maintenance, which usually doesn't make it on film but is probably one of the more important tasks in farming. Good work Lukas, as usual.
I enjoy watching your videos and all the different things you do on your farm. lol the last field was funny watching you lol you had it on fast mode, it reminded me of one of those electric race car games from the past. lol Anyway keep up the great videos.
Hey Lukas, at least you changed the knives to the cutter so it won't have to be operating with dull blades! You can probably get a good amount of square bales from all that hay you were cutting. At least you remembered to fuel the tractor and grease up the parts that were needing it so you'll have things running smoothly. I look forward to your next YT upload.😮😊
From watching many other farming family yt channels I think your look in on life is more realistic. You all work harder and know how to make the most of the equipment that you have. You know a lot more about hard work than a lot of farmers. I appreciate your perspective.
Hi Lukas. Good job from the cutest farmer boy. Do I see that the mower is steerable? Sure looks like it - I couldn't see how that was done to make it steer - but its cool anyway. Raphael
Thanks for the new vid. Was it shot recently? it looked like you were going by cornfields, Id have thought most of the corn would have been harvested by now. Won't winter be setting in soon?
@@TheFarmersSon. shotgun or with a rifle? When does your season start? I live in Illinois and our bow season starts in October and our gun season is a weekend before Thanksgiving and the weekend after Thanksgiving. Only 7 days of hunting.
In Euroipe you have now new farmers who leave the cows on the fields, on the gras, like it was since there are cows on earth. The milk is better, the gras is growing by sun and earth and the cows are happy. This is truly a good thing. And better future . Whoever treats animals like machines will go to hell....
just to let you know, Jesus was a carpenter, and his mum rode on a donkey. he was born in a BARN, and they slept with the animals. the animals weren't just there to pose for photos. I'm being silly, but I hope you understand the serious point. also, cows in the wild get tortured by wild animals. Jesus as a shepherd tells us that Jesus looked after the animals amongst the wild animals. (I'm no farmer but I do have a Degree in Theology)

Nope Wisconsin
Frankie and the Four Seasons are what it's all about. Don't be afraid and enjoy the music.
Thanks that was hypnotic watching the mower all sped up.
Muddy Waters mojo rocks me. He's true.
Huge hunk ❤
the cutest boy on earth
Thx. Are you planning to do a baling small squares video in the future?
Yes next summer

Some folks find mowing very meditative . I know I do.

Lukas, that last farm looked like a race course. You do work hard. Hope school is going well. What is your favorite subject?
Probably lunch lol
@@TheFarmersSon. Funny great answer!

Nice work. It’d be great to see an aerial vew from a drone. Just a suggestion.

What kind of grass do you have for hay? In central Texas we use Coastal Bermuda or Tiftan 85.
Not sure what it is sorry
HAY! :)

can anyone tell me why they need to cut the grass?
For animal feed

You are to impatient, you don"t need to speed up most of your video.
If only real time would be like it was in your vlog you would be done in no time at all.
funny how farmers use their muscles to make money and soy-boys use their money to make muscles.
