I've seen guys mess this up in a wide open industrial park out in the 'burbs and this dude gets it done on a regular NYC street in traffic without any safety cones or whatever.
@@jimkihn1475I would love to say that’s true but I’ve driven both roll off and front loader and trust me these people wont move for ANYONE. The only ppl important to them are themselves and they will cut you off when they can and how they can
I ran roll-off truck on days off when I first started at FD to make ends meet. Wasn't a bad gig if the dump wasn't a muddy mess. But could also be some long hours. Nice to see this old video John, thanks.
I agree,he's good.unless hes the bosses son hes probably getting $20 an hour.the big company's that won't even let you do one of those moves are paying $30an hour at the most.you have to be an idiot to live in nyc.anyway else doing that as a profession you would live great
That is what I call putting the right person doing the right job. I’m from the slow south and drove around NY pulling a 18” trailer , never go back there. You better have nerves of steel.
Those are good skills. The best dude i've ever seen handle a roll off and do things with bins that'll blow people's minds was my boss Guy G. who trained me. There wasn't a situation he couldn't handle.
I used to do that job... would be alot easier for everyone if he had his hazard lights on... other drivers probably can't see his rotating beacon light on top.

So 40 bucks the rent over there is insane. At least 60 an hr shit all the bs you have to deal with over there in new York. Fuck that I work for sws over there and it's a bitch. But loved it!
He did a great job, but his company should be providing high visibility clothing, and trucks should be upgraded to self locking pins, to lock to rails.
@@ak-qs9nithat wasn’t over filled enough to make most break out the hand tarp lol. Usually those auto tarps have eye holes so you can bungee it down to the box.
In NYC anything goes, try doing that in a residential or industrial park and you'd be gone for tearing up the truck and pavement. I ran boxes for WM out of Hunts pt. market for years and they'd can you for that clown show.
This Driver is Boss! Doin a switch out in downtown traffic ain't easy, but he got it done like a drop and hook in an open field. Well done Driver!!
