It was time, y'all. Honestly, I hadn't been taking care of my hair the way I usually do and that resulted in a ton of breakage. So, Tori first trimmed me up, and then we went heavy on giving my hair a new shape!
I LOVE IT SO BAD...I've had the cut for a little while now and it's so much easier and quicker to wash and style.
Although I think we could get even closer to a full on MULLET with the style...I'm obsessed with how Tori transformed my hair.
I'm actually excited to see how it grows out over the next year. What y'all think?

I’ve been natural for 10+ years and I feel that you reach a new level once you understand that natural hair for most people looks best cut and shaped. I love a good length journey, and some actually get there, but terminal length exists. For me I had to understand where I was after 10 years was where I was going to be and that was so freeing because then I started playing with cut color and extensions. I’m not trying to wait to grow hair to my tailbone. If it hasn’t 10 years clearly, I don’t have capacity. 🤭

I travel for work and getting my hair sorted on the road is so incredible stressful. I found out I'd be in Philly for two weeks and immediately looked up your last video with Tori to make an appointment. I wound up booking with Ruth and mentioned you when they asked how I'd heard of them and they mentioned you had just been there so I KNEW a video was coming! So excited to be right. (Also this is genuinely the best hair cut of my life. So thanks for the recommendation!)
