I truly do not think there is an individual on the television with a wit as quick as Lees. when James Acaster is on the show he gives him a run for his money for sure, but the way they all interact is brilliant
That actually goes against the very concept of quality comedy. Childish clowning. Look at Bob Mortimer's stories and the suspence of whether they're true or not. Lee Mack HAS TO bring more true stories and well-written lies. The fact that everyone knows his stories are lies is just tiring and boring
@KackieJennedy and yet it still gets laughs from people who have clearly heard every story Lee has? We can see Rob and David howling over the nonsense stories because that's Lee's style
It's funny cos you can see he annoyed at the people who write the cards. While also trying to make it believable and then often he can't resist adding ridiculous bits on cos he can't help it. It's hilarious. That's quality light entertainment if ever I saw it.
That "keys" segment was the first clip i ever watched of the show, on YT. Been living in the UK for 20 plus years, but was never aware of the show (not much of a TV guy), but somehow the YT algorithm randomly recommended this clip, as soon as i finished it...I was HOOKED. And i've been going down a YT rabbit hole of WILTY ever since. I've more or less watched them all, but every so often, i'm delightfully surprised by one ive never seen😍. On the swallowing the party hooter "sketch" is there something amiss with Lee Mack's beard on the left side? It is certainly not symmetrical with the right hand side
The comedic chemistry between David Mitchell and Lee Mack is a wonderful sight to behold! They literally have me in stitches every time!😂

‘Well a lot of my girlfriends went missing’ in the BERMUDA story must be up there

Who wouldn't like to have a friend like Lee Mack. Image the endless laughter and joy he brings into your life.
Lee is so quick-witted I love him
And we missed him as the host of a science game show called Duck Quacks Don't Echo.
I’m blown away every time it gets to the cooking pot.
🎉 magical

Lee Mack is a comedy gem 😂
I love when he convinces everyone, including Diane, that he correctly guessed the circumference of her head. The absolute genius of the lad

@KackieJennedy Lee Mack doesn't bring lies, they are written by the producers and he has to improvise
underrated lines from this compilation:
"5:46 but after a while it all goes buggy" "well thats life"
"2:46 you wonder why they want independence"
Lee Mack is incredible, he quick fire stories at an amazing speed
I love watching the writers give Lee increasingly unhinged lies and he has to make up the story.
why the Royal wedding lie was not put in this video, ill never know
Maybe because, Ironically, We all believed it for a second.
When I am sad I watch Would I lie to you and I am no longer sad :P Lee cracks me up.

I'm pretty sure it's not "Pneumonic" as it says in the chapter name
In my opinion, perhaps the funniest bit of this video. It's "mnemonic". "Pneumonic" is to do with lungs, not memory.

what did LEE say @1:24:54
He said "because Una Stubbs played Aunt Sally in Worzel Gummidge" (a kids' TV show).
