  • Welcome back to another episode of the Pursuit Podcast! This week, we welcome Kyle Davidson from DCA Custom Arrows!
First, we dive into Kyle's background as a mechanical engineer and how he found his passion for archery. The focus then shifts to how he started building custom arrows, ultimately leading to the unique design of his vanes, which offer a perfect balance between stiffness and flexibility.
We also discuss the concepts of Center of Gravity and Center of Pressure in relation to the vanes and arrow building. Then, we discuss how he effectively communicates what makes his vanes stand out from the rest of the industry.
Finally, we look ahead to Kyle's long-term plans, including potential improvements in colors and profiles.
This was a very technical episode, and we hope you can appreciate all the hard work Kyle has done to make one of the best arrow vanes on the market!

The new size Sabre Vane and glue from DCA is really effective and durable. These vanes actually drop the snap-sizzle-sound ua-cam.com/users/shortsX8jn6w-PoHQ?si=LOdGQGuU_ni0L1q5 typical of arrow flight with an improved concept of design (expanding the distance between FOC and stabilizing pressure point of the arrow -vs- without adding additional point weight to accopomplish the same accuracy improving effect but then more trajectory curve). The new vane bases glue up well (alcahol wipe provided). The spin rate that optimizes trajectory with a 2 degree offset fletching, but helical and 3 degrees also grouped well (albeit a fraction extra drag). Thanks for the extra info in your video!

These vanes stabilize arrows faster than any other vane!
I did extensive testing and found out
