@@ramoon9241 people say “don’t judge,” but it’s a natural instinct. Everyone’judges’ to one degree or another. The difference is how we treat others different. Love one another, and extend grace to them.
After hearing her say she had a "normal" childhood, I unfortunately sat and waited for the other shoe to drop. Low and behold, she experienced all sorts of trauma that no child should go through. I've noticed this similarity in a lot of these stories. Their families and experiences have been so dysfunctional they don't even realize that there's absolutely nothing normal about how they lived. Excellent interview. I wish her success and that she'll be able to use her education and life experiences to help others.
Yep same thoughts I had, first "normal" child hood and "just do this for extra cash"... then comes out the whole trauma and abuse stuff at 12. It's a picture with black and white contrast to us but to trauma victims like her they normalize it as a form of denial. You can see her extremely uncomfortable body language at around 23:40, shudders and facial distortions as she re-lives it. I hope she finds help for all this and becomes the person she clearly has the potential to be. If she reads this comment: You were raped, it wasn't your fault, you didn't ask for it, you were just a child, you can heal.
You could walk by this women on the street and think she has a perfect life just by looking at her on the outside...it's crazy how you never know what people are really going through on the inside.
Good observation! I was actually jealous of my child’s friend’s parents’ life. They seemed wealthy, healthy, like they had the perfect relationship...One day my child came home from school and told me that handsome, smiling, white, professional, suburban dad killed himself. I felt grimy as f. You really never know.
Your non judgemental style of interviewing allows the viewer to really engage with people who have traumatic pasts, and non traditional lifestyles. She is incredibly strong, courageous, and emotionally intelligent to be able to hold herself together through all of these challenges. Thank you for not overriding her story with your own. This interview was extremely well done.
He probably does judge in his head (just like most people) he just doesn't say it aloud. I don't think his "style" is completely intentional, though it also kind of is... He knows he's not the best interviewer out there so he prefers when they just talk the whole time.
Yeh, she is emotionally intelligent...Drugs, suicide attempts, selling her soul she says...Yeh, she is emotionally intelligent allright....you are so observant
I’m a psychiatrist. Watching the interviews on this channel is literally identical to the daily sessions with my patients. We all have had experienced traumatic experiences in our lives. Some people are able to cope with them better than others. Surround yourself with people that you love and can rely on. That’s the key to happiness.
Lord after 3 hours of these interviews they take a toll on my mood for some reason and I get severe anxiety. I couldn't imagine engaging in this profession- daily. Bless your soul 😘
The more I watch these videos, I begin to understand myself more and that I've been fortunate not to fall into all these horrible traps when I was young. I arrived in Las Vegas at 23 from small town USA and didn't have any street smarts. At 70 now, I'm grateful for the good people that helped me along the way.
You don't give yourself enough credit. You said no to this life. These other people took it all in and said yes to it. You have boundaries, these people don't.
@@aria759 but then not everybody learned how to have boundaries, or knew that boundaries even existed. If boundaries breaking (namely people imposing their shit on you) is all you've ever known, you have to clue you even have that power in the first place, so you just go through the motions, without tools, without guidance, like a blind. Let's not judge someone as being better or smarter simply because they were able to make the choices that others couldn't, especially when starting their life, and right in the middle of trauma.

I suspect that she is able to do this because she has learned to become detached from people. She tells the story of her mother without a ounce of sadness. Many people cry during their recollections. She is articulate and clear. She has been damaged but she is very smart and can find her way. I wish her so much luck.
Wow..amazing so open and honest and in touch. On the same token she is completely removed or perhaps detached at the same time. So strong and grounded yet so weak and vulnerable..blown away with this one
I have three daughters in their 20s and they have friends very similar to Valentina. Smart, articulate, not addicted, real job, in school … and escorting on the side. It’s hard for me to watch as a Dad because there are a lot of dangers out there, even when women think they have “loyal, safe” clients. I pray she finds what she’s looking for. Stay safe, Valentina.
Escorting is not good for society, it takes advantage of lonely men who otherwise would have to learn how to act properly around women in order to get their attention. The amount they charge is absurd and most men feel absolutely pathetic after paying for sex. And they should, they didn't earn it. The downstream effects of living this way is that it creates broken homes and more childhood trauma of the sort that has damaged this poor young woman.
Her pain hurts my soul. Her burden is heavy. I wish her comfort and self forgiveness. She’s not a victim, she’s a warrior. Best wishes for her. Her soul is bright and strong. ❤️
“My mom would yell a lot.... my dad was scared of her...... I would get hit....... nothing terrible” Most people undervalue what can traumatize a child. This is a perfect example She deals with the wound the best she knows how. Jesus has a special place in his heart for these types of wounds that happen to little girls that later become seekers of love in all the wrong places.
@@kryptonite9804 One of your biggest problems is how we identify trauma for others?? Odd statement from a psychotherapist in regard to the assessment of this video. Perhaps I am misreading your statement but if you cannot see the clear connection between her abusive mom, uninvolved dad, the hotel situation and her career of choice, then perhaps you should consider interning in an area that works with these girls to get a better understanding...and besides, it doesn’t take a psychotherapist to assess the obvious most of the times in these cases. We know too much and there is no more debate in regard to sex workers and childhood emotional and or physical trauma connections for which she admitted happened.
@@roaringclown99 Ahhhhh ok... I guess thats not an awkward and meaningless interjection?? So what is your point in relation to the wounding of Gods daughter by those who were supposed to protect her??

If you're talking about addicted sex workers, then yes I agree for the most part. But not all addicts have been victims of childhood sex abuse. Even the ones with 2 parent households aren't immune to a drug habit at some point in their life.
This girl is no dummy. She has issues, as all of us do, but shes on a whole other level. Smart, pretty, and collected. I see big things for her in the long run.
@@Otis_Stone took the words out of my mouth lol. But for reals, she's not dumb. If she can work through some of her issues, she could probably be successful in any number of career paths
No, she's a train wreck. There's a reason she's studying psychology. She's trying to understand her own basket of issues, and it's a big basket. She would and probably will completely wreck her own life as well as anyone in a relationship with her. She is the definition of toxic.
This girl is stunning. She seems like such a clear-headed, open-minded, and accepting person. True beauty. I hope she finds the happiness and the love that she so deserves.
It's uniquely human to ignore all the flaws of someone when they are veneered by physical beauty. She "seems like" exactly how she described herself. Low self-esteem, low self-worth, trust issues, past trauma, and riddled with shame by pretending to enjoy sex with people who she thinks are disgusting. She preys on the emotions of lonely men for money. Before you @ me, I'm not blaming her and I am not vindicating lonely men. They are both disgusting. The lonely married men are spineless, and the lonely single men are likely awkward or otherwise undesirable. There's nothing beautiful about any of it. It's a dirty business, but anyone with self-respect and self-love will have nothing to do with it. Don't believe me? Go to a strip club, I guarantee someone will make you feel special. It's all a game.
@@clv603 I think the whole point of this channel is to completely debunk the stigma that comes with these kind of individuals. The stigma that, proven by your comment, is unfortunately alive and well. These people aren't "disgusting," as you put it. I don't see someone disgusting when I look at her and hear her story, just as I don't see someone disgusting when I look at/hear the story of a lonely man who pays for sex. I see people. Broken people looking for acceptance and understanding, while trying to navigate their way through this cold, dark world... Trying, despite the trauma, shame, and hurt they deal with every day. I don't see a disgusting person. I see a broken child who never had the opportunity to be free; a child who didn't experience love, guidance, or the innocence that should be indicative of childhood.
@@LadyRow00 Don't get me wrong, I am not without empathy, and I sympathize heavily for the struggle some people endure as they suffer far greater than some of our own trivial, "normal" people problems in life. But I don't call it beauty. It is the farthest thing from it. As emotionally healthy humans, it is normal to develop a "savior complex" and project our balanced perspective onto those who are self-destructive. I don't believe many of these people have the capacity to establish healthy, loving relationships. Do they have the capability? Sure, but it takes years of possibly therapy to unlearn destructive behaviors to build self-respect and self-love in becoming emotionally healthy. Glorifying and vindicating her lifestyle because we feel sorry for her won't help her or provide her much motivation or solace because on the inside she feels ugly and shameful. I don't disagree with you, but the truth is often bitter. I too wish for her to have success in the rewarding aspects of life that is pair-bonding and love. But staying real, trauma has a way of perpetuating dysfunction. There's nothing stunningly beautiful about it.
So sad how much she down plays her trauma. She experienced things that have lasting impact on a developing person. I hope she cares for herself. She deserves it!
yea it was weird to me how she said getting drugged was the worst that happened to her which "wasn't that bad" when to me something like that i'd consider not that bad in a situation like her would be a guy stealing 20 dollars out of my purse

“How was your childhood?” “I mean nothing too crazy” Being groomed by a grown man at 12 I would classify as crazy. That’s not normal. I feel for her 😓 someone should have protected her from that predator.
Her parents would be the first port of call, however her mother is a schizophrenic and her parents relationship was in turmoil over that. Her mother wasn't sane enough to notice, and her father was in too much distress trying to handle his mentally ill wife. This is why family and parenting is so important. Hi Mark, the only reason I'm writing this is because it's the newest video and you might be more apt to read it, although she's a lovely sweet young lady this isn't about her. I've been watching your videos for the last couple months because it reveals a glimpse into the heartache I have recently come from. My exwife just sent my son a letter from jail and for whatever reason I felt compelled to message you. At one point we were a happy family but fentanyl, and crystal meth put a wedge between us and ultimately landed her in jail. She turned to prostitution and went down a very dark road, filled with very dark people. I'm writing you because all of the videos on your site doesn't come close to explaining the pain and heartache that this lifestyle causes, but you get as close as possible! So thank you, I appreciate your work! Out of the couple of thousand people you have interviewed there are tens of thousands of family and loved ones that are suffering equally! Btw I'm not Innocent, I've had problems myself, but I got help and custody of my son your videos shed light and round about answers to questions that I've been unknowingly looking for. I'm not sure this message makes sense but thanks. 🙏

@@MariselaR.da1daOnly that’s a great question. I live in PA and even though in a small town, our area has a pretty big caseload of people on probation and parole. To answer your question... I watch intervention, law and order, chicago pd and criminal minds, I guess these stories get to me and some of them hit close to the people I deal with. I also use to think they were no good junkies but then when someone in my past developed a heroin addiction it hit me hard and I changed my way of thinking... this May will be 2 years since I lost him to a blood infection caused from abusing drugs... it truly is a disease and no one is immune from it. @@maureent8653 thanks for replying to my comment. It does make a difference since you are in a different state. I just have always been curious to know who also watches and why. So many people in these lifestyles or with criminal backgrounds have different reasons for why they do what they do. Not trying to make excuses or justify criminal behavior at all, but it is not always just a bad person out to do bad things. I know personally many in similar situations who are truly good people who just had bad life circumstances. No one wants to just be a criminal or be the bad guy. The current state of affairs with so much going on with cops and bad cops people seem to lose sight in the human behind the person they seem "criminal" again just curious to hear your viewpoint. The bad apples definitely have the spotlight right now, but we are all human just trying to get by. The human experience and why people do what we do fascinates me. Perhaps the most beautiful person I have seen on this channel because of her compassion and kindness. And how strong she is despite so much adversity. Most people become bitter and harsh. You can tell she’s learned to live with her pain. I would love to see an update on how she’s doing.
Her intellect and eloquent speech doesn't provide enough cover for her pain and confusion. She is one to two better decisions away from living a much more healthier and happier life.
@@commanderrussels2612 Sex work is very difficult to leave, especially as a young woman. Ultimately, it gets in the way of everything else (relationships, education, low paying career track positions). You are right on Commander.
I'm impressed with how level headed and resilient this young woman is. She's played the hand she was dealt the best she could. I bet she'll make an excellent therapist some day. Her ability to remain measured, open, accountable, and direct will be an asset to her career.
Not if she’s only going to get a bachelors, you don’t get to be a therapist with a bachelors degree.SHE IS So detached from her feelings, she has to be to be able to do the work she does.
I strongly believe the root to many of the negative emotional states Valentina has been experiencing stem from contempt in her mother and father's relationship when she was young and no escape from it. I am so glad that she turned to psychology to work through her challenges.A very emotionally mature and intelligent person. All the best in future to you!
I thought it was interesting that she chose psychology as her major. I’m not sure if that will provide her with a better understanding of herself. She obviously has more to offer society than sex for money. I hope she finds her way.
No matter that she says she's fine with all this, her body language says different story. She's obviously in pain. And has a lot of pressure because she has to take care of her mom and sister but it's taking it's toll. Hope she graduates and becomes therapist and gets away from all that because it is obviously hurting her.
Hey NHdad are you the one, that she’s telling of the story of.....the gross 49-50 year old man/pig that took a 14-15 year old GIRL and had sex with her.
Hope she does well, but she really shouldn’t be a therapist. She isn’t dealing with her own emotional issues, she really shouldn’t be trying to deal with other peoples.
You don’t know anything. This is a strong person that’s what I see . She does whatever it takes while going to college, working and taking care of her family. A very small percentage of people are capable of this .
i feel her on the level of hiding emotions and minimizing the situation. i constantly try to make things seem less bad than they are so other people dont worry and to trick myself into thinking its not bad. nothing like shes going through but i can tell shes super smart. i hope she stays safe
The story near the end with her friend's dad is so heartbreaking. She was only twelve, and for a grown older man to "fall in love with her" at first sight and then write her love letters for years is grooming and beyond creepy. She must have felt so scared and confused, and the fact that she felt like she couldn't go home because her parents didn't know about him shows how little her parents were there for her at a time she needed them most, because she couldn't trust them to be there for her then. I think that messed her up more than she lets on.
age old, beauty has its downsides, and huge upsides, she needs to figure out which way is up and which way is down, then exploit... I mean, even doing what she does any man would still want her for so much more than sex, its circumstance.. hang in there, take care of yourself, it will happen... be ready when it does...
If Valentina can just avoid the pitfalls of drugs, which I feel like she can do, then I also feel like she’ll be ok. I don’t see where she is totally down to earth or centered. I DO see that she intellectualizes her feelings and experiences easily and that’s not the same as being at peace or centered. She seems to dissociate a lot from her feelings and experiences as she’s talking. But it’s hopeful to me that she’s studying psych. She is STRONG!! And SMART!
Definitely wouldn’t use those words to describe her😂 maybe soulless? You really think her studying psych is going to help her? Decades ago I did that and I was doing way too much introspection. Later I had a business and was much better off in every way. Much easier in that it is much, much less complicated.
Mark has a way to connect with people and make them open up that is remarkable. He does it in a way that is not judgmental. Listening to the beginning of her story I was thinking she had a normal life and I was trying to figure out how she went from that to what she does now. Then she opened up and told more about her life challenges. She was very open, honest, and well spoken. I think she has a talent to connect with people and if she does become a therapist or counselor she could truly help people. I wish her the best.

Amazing work, Mark. I am fond of these little pieces you do with common people. It gives us a perspective to someone else's life, another angle, different permutations of situations leading to different versions of life. What is unique with these is the non-judgemental and neutral perspective with which these interviews are done. I probably won't even call it an interview and gladly so. It's more like the person just opens up and we get to see life through their eyes, which is priceless.
She is so detached from her emotions. The words she uses to describe her story and the words most other people would use to describe it are very different. She doesn't use emotional language to describe things that must have been incredibly traumatic.
Some people don’t cry or focus on the bad, it’s called moving on. A true psychopath would be a lot harder to spot in one conversation. She’s very honest and vulnerable but is willing to look at her situation from a glass half full perspective
She seems matter of fact and nervous. She is proactively taking care of herself and therapy. There’s things that are crappy in life. There’s shitty people, jobs that affect you, not just sex work.
She said around 8:35 that she likes to “ compartmentalize “. That justifies her detachment from her day to day life and her side hustle. She doesn’t think about it when she is off the clock.
This reminds me so much of my best friend in our early 20s, supporting family, trying to do it all, and still keeping yourself strong. Hope you'll write a book someday Valentina

She seems to me like she's going to snap. She is so composed and quite clear in expressing her thoughts and feelings but almost because she's practiced these answers. This is what she keeps telling herself to repress what she doesn't want to fully experience or can't fully experience. She seems so kind. That's probably why she still loves her mother so much because it sounds like her mom aint sh*t, and not saying that is the mom's fault, but look at the damage it does to her children.
Fault lies with her mom. She sounds like the very cause of where this young child ended up. She is still a child in an adult body. You can see it every time she speaks looking through the vocabulary. Her friends dad needs some serious damage done to him.

The fact that those dumb comments didn't sway you also gave me a greater respect for you and belief that although rare not ALL men are dogs! Thank you for that.
@@519MaLoNeY just being honest. You should always remember, especially having daughter's, you as a father is so VERY important! Moms are too of course, but girls need a good father figure to protect them from the craziness of this world. How YOU treat the women in your life sets the tone for the men your daughters surround themselves with in life. Just being present is so much. But how you treat their mom and the respect you show other women in general will have such an important influence. I speak from experience and it refreshes me to know and see a genuinely good man comment. The mentality that all men are just expected to be monsters is not always accurate or fair. I didn't have my father but I had a grandfather and 3 uncle's who filled the void in healthy and positive ways that I avoided the "daddy issues" or never really noticed the way some of my friends did. As a woman, it is a big deal. You are definitely headed in the right direction. Much respect to you and yours. She's very well spoken, I like the way she tells her story and I like her perspective. I cannot relate to her on a personal level but I truly enjoyed listing to her speak about her life. I hope she gets everything she wants in terms of career. She also speaks so honestly an openly, I wish more people were like this, down to earth and realistic. Great interview!
Well spoken? HA ... with endless Ummm's? Listen to his video from Escort "Frenchie", now SHE can speak and she does it correctly, even with a french accent.
She is much more genuine and honest than Frenchie. Frenchie is so brittle and broken and dissociated from her trauma. I find it so amazing how many people got sucked into the superficial fun of party girl frenchie and could ignore the very real stories of brutal dehumanisation she told with a wink and a smile. 12 hour shifts to the point of pain and being told to get in the bath and get back out there. And people think this is empowering. I have watched her Instagram, she lives in poverty and chaos. Valentina is still young enough to turn it around.
What a wonderful person she is. I feel a strong empathy with her. She obviously is being very honest to herself, close to her feelings and at the same time reflecting them. Love you.
When she's speaking about the experience with her friends Dad in the hotel you can see her physically shuddering as if she's reliving the experience. The discomfort and everything feels so visceral
clearly she is traumatized... you can tell as she pauses when talking about her teenage trauma. She is clearly still very hurt by those images and memories. Poor girl.
It's almost like she visualizes the answers to the questions and then, tries to makes sense of it but can't, so she pauses to "re-script" her answer to lessen the impact of the painful situation. Yet, through all of the trauma, she's taking care of her Mom and sister. Tender heart full of love.
I lost respect for her when she said she has no respect for the same men who are funding her lifestyle and her family. Also as an escort I think you lose respect from good men because you’re out here selling ur vag for money. Other women out here who don’t have to do that and struggle trough life without having to pimp out there body. Those are women I respect.
Beautiful, intelligent, and strong. I commend her for pushing through school and having goals. I think she definitely minimizes experiences and has been through a lot but she's still working towards her goals. That's real life.

Kinda reminded me of Humbert Humbert in "Lolita".
All these escort interviews has commonalities on childhood bad experiences growing up.

I'd like to take a moment to compliment the interviewer for the flow of excellent non-judgmental questions.
Hi Valentina! I have watched your video twice. Love that you shed light on generational/genetic depression. For some of us it is literally a chemical imbalance. My mental health is #1. I also have had depression since I was about 6 yrs old. I too love to help people. My work, not matter the title always is Service. My work has to be meaningful. I believe in love/kindred connection but it is rare and I do not lose that belief because of negative experiences.
If you go into the sexworker game your heart has to be blacken alittle but they way she explains it like it’s not a big deal at all, and she was talking about having a suger daddy and 2k a month wasn’t enough😂 look a lot of people come off on these interviews as sweet and innocent but behind close doors it’s a whole different story, I would not admire these videos at all just look at them at a distance to understand everyone’s side of the story but NEVER look up to these people
You really think her studying psych is going to help her? Decades ago I did that and I was doing way too much introspection. Later I had a business and was much better off in every way. Much easier in that it is much, much less complicated.
It blows me away how much we dismiss the dangerous behavior of others simply due to loneliness or financial need. I hope she stays safe.
Yea, its called paying them

Amazing work, Mark. I am fond of these little pieces you do with common people. It gives us a perspective to someone else's life, another angle, different permutations of situations leading to different versions of life. What is unique with these is the non-judgemental and neutral perspective with which these interviews are done. I probably won't even call it an interview and gladly so. It's more like the person just opens up and we get to see life through their eyes, which is priceless.
She is totally detached from her emotions. She has switched it all off and decided to do what she has to do.
She is so detached from her emotions. The words she uses to describe her story and the words most other people would use to describe it are very different. She doesn't use emotional language to describe things that must have been incredibly traumatic.
She shows the signs of a psychopath
Some people don’t cry or focus on the bad, it’s called moving on. A true psychopath would be a lot harder to spot in one conversation. She’s very honest and vulnerable but is willing to look at her situation from a glass half full perspective
She said love and being present were important to her, after a lifetime of depression. Sounds healthy to me.

She called the 3 year relationship with a married man a normal relationship.
It can be...i mean the majority of the United states cheating on their spouse anyways so statistically it’s normal...
In some Latin-American and European countries it used to be considered very normal and almost expected for married men to have a mistress on the side. I think it' weird but it might be a cultural thing.
For her choice of life , it probably constitutes as normal.

Agreed, I wonder how much an hour is. Or 30 mins.
Very sad!
clearly she is traumatized... you can tell as she pauses when talking about her teenage trauma.

This interview was so interesting because she appears level headed but has been through so much. I wouldnt't guess that by looking at her.
