Kikkoman Chinese Style Hot & Sour Egg Drop Soup Recipe
How to enhance the Kikkoman Hot & Sour soup mix.
Ingredients:
2 Packets of Kikkoman Hot & Sour Egg Drop Soup Mix ( .88 oz )
4 Cups Chicken Stock
1 1/2 to 2 Cups of Water
1 Thai Chili Pepper ( Sliced )
1 Egg ( Beaten )
Cilantro ( Chopped )
Green Onions ( Chopped)
Black Pepper
Serves 4-6 people.
1) In a medium pot add the chicken stock, 1 1/2 cups of water ( add more later if necessary) , the packets of soup mix and the sliced Thai chili pepper. Bring to a boil.
2) Once the soup has come to a boil gradually add the beaten egg while gently stirring in one direction. Then turn off the heat.
3) Garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro. Sprinkle on some black pepper.
4) Serve immediately while hot.
