Hey Nadine can I please know where did you bought that bag?
Is it weird I have an obsession with travelling videos... Not just where they go but mostly when they pack... i LOVE IT
Same.. I just love organizing skills
samee
Tamika Barrett Same fo me! I just got the Osprey Farpoint 55 for future travels!
Tamika Barrett Same! Ive been watching them for the past week.

Wow, that's a lot of stuff you're packing. Personally I would leave some of the items behind or bring different things:
-Instead of bringing 3 bags + a clutch I usually pack a small crossbody bag (should be practical enough for everyday wear but still cute enough for going out) and a tote bag for bigger items.
- The only utensil I would bring is a plastic spoon. You can always use the swiss army knife (or your teeth ;-)) instead of the knife and your fingers or a tooth pick instead of a fork.
-The uncuttable cord for securing your backpack is kind of useless because thieves can just cut open your backpack to get to your stuff.
-Concentrated travel detergent is more space efficient than normal powder.
-Those wedges take up a lot of space and are probably heavy; low-heeled pumps might be a better choice. I also recommend changing them out for booties (comfortable!! ones, think low block heel) for the colder countries in Europe as you can wear them during the day and for going out.
- Bring only one pair of sunglasses and one adapter. You can always buy more at your destination if needed
- Hair straightener and blow driers aren't really necessary. Try finding ways to style your hair without them before leaving for your trip
This isn't meant as criticism btw. Just some advice for other viewers who get back pain easily :)

yeah i agree....the short pants prob only bring 1-2. and the tops prob only 5 in total (including the beach tops, romper and pajamas and tshirts).
Yeah I also think it probably defeated the purpose of the video to mix up what to pack for Europe vs. South Asia all in one go. It kinda just showed a hole bunch of stuff what you might want to pack but did not give an idea of how much you can actually bring with you with just one backpack. If I wanted to just see what I want to bring I look at my entire closet lol the cutting down to the minimum is where it gets more tricky!
As someone who hasn´t travelle only with carry-on for a long period of time and overstepping seasons, I like to start packing 2 weaks ahead. This way I had the chance to add some stuff that I remembered I would need and just put it on top of my bag to just double check a last time 2 days or so before I leave and again cluster out what has to go for my new picked items to fit in :)
Yeah I probably would only do 1pr short shorts Europe or SE Asia - in my experience it's mostly best to keep those knees covered, a lot of cultures find knees offensive 😉 (not culturally appropriate to show them), better to do a knee length skirt or 2 and a pr cargo pants.
But yeah too much stuff - clothes, travel documents (seriously we have cloud+email backups to document apps on phone these days-leave the hard copies with family/friends if you REALLY need that),hairdryer etc???,makeup, SHOES et al
I’m to tired to read all that
Before I watch the full vid...those who buy Osprey packs, REMEMBER TO REGISTER THEM! You can get them fixed/replaced if they break as long as you're using it for what you've told them (when you register you tick activity boxes that apply to what you will use your bag for, for example hiking, travel etc).
:)
I have this weird obsession with packing videos. I looooove watching them! Lately I've become obsessed with trying to make sure I only pack a carry on so I don't have to go through that extra step of waiting at the conveyer belt/airline losing my luggage.
OMG ME
I’m on that too! I made the rookie mistake of buying a backpack that has a rigid back that doesn’t collapse to fit in carry on. So now I have to decide - get rid of this amazing backpack in favour of a smaller one (YIKES), or continue to check it
level up: try packing for european budget airlines which allow 40x30x20cm bags otherwise you have to pay (costs can probably double the price of the flight if you take more than 2 checked bags)
@@Askdjdjajtjack 😖
just personal preferences, but I think this is more of a luxury packing video. I'm going to backpack through Europe this summer and I would pack a lot lighter than you do now.
I'm super impressed you got that many shoes to fit in there!
A "full body length romper" is a jumpsuit.
I'm confused. Why do you generalise Europe and South East Asia? There are cities in both places and there are more beach or off the beaten track areas in both places. Travellers pack for the type of holiday they are going on (subject to the weather) not just the country/continent they are going to.
Carter Europe is fancy though, so is a lot of Asia.
As someone who lives in Bangkok I think she'll only be around backpackers considering her hippy bag, flip flop/sandals and clothes she picked
@Carter I agree it is not nice that she is saying that Europe is more luxurious and Asia is rougher eventhough I live in Europe
So helpful! I get so anxious thinking about trying to fit all my stuff into a bag smaller than my 60L, so I appreciate that your list is more realistic!
This makes me so excited for my 3 month trip to Germany at the end of the year, especially because I booked my tickets this morning! Thanks for posting this, it will definitely be helpful when I start packing :D
I know people will say you do video repeats but theyre wrong, each video is detailed in different ways, ive watched three packing videos and im still learning, thankyou so much, hope to bump into you on your travels! Teagan x
There's no reason for me to watch this, yet I am, and I'm enjoying it.
this video changed my life, I'm going to Europe for 3- 6 months and felt so lost on how to pack. thanks so much!
That's way too much stuff. You would be killing your back.
@@wanderlustandsparkle4395 Can't tell you how many gals I've seen overload their backpack (to the point it weighs 40-50 lbs), be all cheery and feeling comfortable with it strapped on, only to be panting heavily and groaning halfway through the trip. Not sure if they're just overly confident, trying to impress guys or what, but it's really bad for their health.
I think half of the things are unnecessary for backpacking :)
OH MY GOD I am so happy you uploaded this !!! I am going to Southeast Asia in a year for two and a half months and I kept rewatching you other packing videos like the toiletry one . thank you !!!
I found this video super helpful! I watched so many reviews of minimalist packing and bought a Farpoint 40. When it came in the mail I was like OMG! What about my wedge heels for clubs, makeup, purse options? Everyone can't go that light, especially when going to multiple places with diverse interest and wanting to look put together at times. I don't want Instagram pics wearing the same oufit at every monument over the course of a year, not my style. This is the only video where I could see everything I would pack for every occasion get in there. Everyone can't backpack the same, so to everyone saying this is too much stuff whatever, it's a great start. Thanks so much, going to get the Osprey 70 for my 1 year around the world adventure.
I love this, still very relevant for my 3 month trip I'm about to take :) Thank you Nadineeee. I've been following your travels for a while now always great to see your smiling face exploring new places!
I love that backpack! great video! How much does your bag weigh in the end?
I am literally going on a cityscape backpacking vacation in Europe for 2 weeks this summer so this is perfect!!
UGH! My backpack definitely needs a protective flap like that to cover all the strings and buckles. Drives me crazy! Great video!
I feel like instead of generalizing SE Asia + Europe, I would've said adventurous vs. relaxation/luxury trips... Europe has many rural areas that many people travel to, and SE Asia has city life too!
Thank you so much for this video. it helped me a lot. I'm leaving in 4 days for a 3-week trip in Asia and the tips you gave here are really, really helpful. I'm really organized and I was still going to forget important things. The tips about the actual act of packing are also life-changing lol
Wow, I am randomly watching packing videos and this is so. much. stuff. I usually pack like 1/6 of what you pack. But props to you if you are comfortable traveling with such a big bag.
where do you leave the larger bag when you go on day trips? I'm specifically concerned about leaving my laptop behind and stuff like that
you ever get stopped at the TSA for the laundry powder?
Wilster Phung I was wondering thay when she showed the laundry powder😂 is it really annoying or manageable ?
im backpacking in europe for 2 months starting next sunday I AM SO EXCITED seeing ur videos really helped me a lot thanks :)
Great packing skills! I don't think I'd be strong enough to carry such a big pack but I am surprised how much you were able to fit in!
the amount of thought you put into this blows my mind
I am just going to bring one carry on backpack for my trip to Europe for 17 days as I don't want to carry too many stuff with me as I am constantly on a move traveling to 7 different countries for the duration of 17 day. I'll be sleeping at the airport to save money.
I'm leaving for Europe in a week and found this really helpful 😊 thank you
I’m going to Italy for the first time in June-Milan, Verona, Venice, Bergamo and I think I’m going to stick mostly to dresses and rompers.
Where do you get your hats from?
I set off for Europe next week. I'm going for a month and I'm so excited woooo! Found this useful for ideas of what I need xo
Where did you get the nicer purse with the zipper? (cute boho one - the hippie tote) Looked at your blog post but don't see it! Love it!
NM - found it! I literally searched for 'hippie tote bag with zipper'. Hah! The zipper sold me :). You are awesome.
Vivienne Gucwa I know this is from a while ago but do you happen to remember where it’s from?
I was wondering the same🤔😅 the info would be much appreciated 🤗
Hi Nadine! My name is Sarah and I am an American UA-camr living in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I am a new subscriber also and I have been enjoying your videos so far! I absolutely LOVE packing! Even if it's just for a short trip, it is so fun for me! Usually I'll start a packing list a few weeks or even a few months in advance if it's a really big trip hahaha!
Wow! wear can I get those black divider that you put your clothes into? I saw people use them for toiletries but never thought for clothes. smart tips. Ur packing techniques are awesome. I have been traveling just carrying but it still a hassel to fit things in. Thx for the video
Google 'packing cubes' 👍🏼
+Lucrezia Matamua Thank you
Packing cubes are a game changer! I recommend them to everyone now. Once you get them, you won't look back!
Hi? I was wondering if you share a link of where you everything from ? Like Amazon or a store ? I would love to know where u brought your travel towel , siren whistle , rain cover from ?
I'm travelling around Europe for 2 weeks in 12 days with a an osprey backpack so these videos are perfect timing for me really
Hey Nadine I love all your videos! I stick to white /light colours as much as poss when backpacking n SE Asia because of MOSQUITOES!! They are less attracted to light colours! If youve had a mosquito related illness you have to take all the precautions. its a pain washing and wearing thin long sleeves but rather be safe than sorry. Depends whether its wet/dry season and where exactly you are but Ive watched mosquitoes racing for those dark/bright colours!
Who needs 5 pairs of different shoes on a backpacking trip?!
If it's possible to stand'em on a "backpack" then why not ? It's backpacking not minimalism.
This is awesome! I also see you use like packing cases too. Whoa. Thank you so much for this!!!
looved it, going to thailand and vietnam and this was suuuuuuuuuper useful to me ! Thank you x
This is great! I know nothing about backpacking but definitely want to give it a shot. Maybe this year!!
I love your vids! Totally helped me work out what to take on my trip. I'm totally obsessed with backpack packing videos ATM. :)
Good tutorial video but how much does all this stuff in these 2 bags together weigh, looks awfully heavy to me?
+JCTraveler4107 it's under the limit for checked bags thats for sure. since I've carred more than that before.
Hey nadine! I love ur vids and watched this packing vid so many times😂 is this still how u pack? Please do an updated one for carryon only or 7kg only hehe (budget airline probs)
Love from Hong Kong!!
These are such GOOOOOOD tips! Thank you so much
I am always so scared to take my laptop with me. I don't know if I should leave it where I am staying or just keep it on me at all times.
I love your personality! You know when you meet people at the the first time and you just know that you could be friends😅 I have that with you! I am going to Cuba in november all by myself! Because of your video’s I feel more confident! Thanks🌸
Greets from the Netherlands!
Love your blue osprey farpoint. I got a black one from eBay, wish I have the blue one
My husband and I are going on a trip to Europe so this video is helpful. also got the Osprey but only the 40L, we were gonna get the 55, but we don't want to check in our bags. Some people said it's ok as a carry on some said no? I'm just wondering if you've ever carry it with you or checked it in.
this video came at the perfect time! I'm leaving for my backpacking/study abroad trip in just two weeks!!
+Sami Holzman How fun!! Where are you going?
I'm staying in Italy for the first two months, then I'll be traveling to France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and the Netherlands!
Love my Osprey Bags!
+Nomadic In The Philippines Same i have the red 55L LOVE IT!
I do quite a bit of heavy outdoorsy backpacking, and Osprey and Deuter are my favorite backpack brands. The only company I like more is Arcteryx.
Ospreys for the win!
I also bring really old clothes when traveling long distance that way I just throw them away less to carry back. But sometimes I still come back with more from shopping
Great video! I am going to be traveling to India and SE Asia early next year so this was great, thank you!
So helpful!
Could you tell me where you bought the roll up bag? Or what brand it is?
Thanks!
What is the song playing while you are packing your bags? Nice video by the way :)
SUPER HELPFUL! This is great considering I'm backpacking Europe next summer. TIME TO GET SHOPPING! ☺️😛
How was that
I'm gonna be flying on Saturday is it ok if I wear my adidas slides on the flight?
I've done a fair bit of traveling and never thought of stuffing a pillowcase with clothes. I always fold my jumper up only to wake up 30 minutes later to find it completely unraveled with drool marks. Thanks for the tip 😉👍🏻
I love that you have that cable to secure a bag somewhere. That is super smart!
I would offer a suggestion. Soap nuts instead of laundry powder. They are safe for sensitive skin, and unlike liquid or powder, cannot be “spilled”. They last a really long time, have a nice, mild scent, and are super easy to use. Also, when they’re no good any more, they are natural compostable, and can just be tossed in a garden or in with any compostable material, and are not harmful to animals. Or just throw them away. I use them for all my laundry and I love them!
Yay! Another informative video for us to learn and use on our next trip.
Thank You Nadine!
This videos must be stressful to make, but keep it up! We'll always be here to support you around the world!
And you are inspiring me to create a new youtube channel and when I reach some success, I'll invite you to make some collaboration videos together.
What is the pink and black case you packed all of your clothes into with the dog shape on it?
Thank you so much I am going to travail the world in 2 months and this was really helpful xx
This was super useful, love your ideas! Helpful too because ya girl over packs... every time!
I love your videos. They are so organized and informative. Thank you.
oh, and where can I get that cute map shirt? Love it!
Great ideas for traveling but not feeling like you have to leave items behind! I just got accepted to teach English in Spain and I know I'll be taking lots of trips and coming back to this video for ideas often!
where can i get that safety alarm from? i've been in a couple of sketchy situations and it might well come in handy in the future. i carry around a notebook + pen too!
I love this t shirt so much. Where can I buy it?
Hey, I noticed how good your audio is in this, was wondering what type of lavalier microphone you use? Thanks :)
if youre on the pill and travel... what do you do about the time change?
hi i just subscribed and i love these thank you! i have traveled a lot too!
+shelly gilman If you like this channel check out my channel:) Sub and let me know what you think.
Hey nadine. Thanks, this is so helpful
Could u please please link where you bought these from e.g. the microfibre towel
Thanks
Where is the first purple shorts from?? :)
Where did you get that big packing cube at 21:10 to put all your clothes in?
Thanks for the video. btw in your blog post, the backpack affiflate link is dead
Hey! Can anyone tell me what the make of the backpack is? 🙏🏻
What kind of hair straightener is that? - is the pouch "heatproof"/does it come with?
Can i bring a 1 person tent and sleeping bag in a carry on duffle bag for Indonesia and Australia, also a hammock?
Anyone have any recommendations of where to find a wife brim hat like nadine has in the video? ✨
Does your backpack get checked or can it fit in overhead bins
Where can I find your passport case? Do you have any recommendations for a good one?
Does your 70L have to be checked? or can you use it at your carry on?
Fantastic video this has really helped me out! I have a question though, I'm travelling south east Asia for 6 weeks but I haven't paid for a check in bag meaning I'll be using my backpack as hand luggage. So I have to be careful with liquids! How do I manage all my liquids so they fit and they make it through security? (Makeup, toiletries etc)? Thank you!!
At the end when you put your clothes in the foldable bags, what are those bags called and where can I find them xx
Thank you so much for this video. Even though i'm male i found interesting packing hacks here!
can you please share the list of things so i know what and where to buy these items
Where do you get all the money to travell and buy a Macbook?
Hey Nadine, your packing videos and tips are amazing. Can you please do a video what's in your travel make up bag???
lol I would never bring an umbrella cuz I love rain but I might bring a rain coat if i go somewhere where it rains on a daily basis but probs not
Are the bags for carry on luggages or one for check in? Thanks!
Whoa you packed a lot in there!
And WHOA I need to use my fold up toiletry bag for clothes like you did, it's so much more useful that way. (!)
How many litres is this backpack? I can’t find the part where that’s mentioned. Thank you
This video saved our life on our trip to Southeast Asia!
Hello Nadine, please could you tell me what is the name of your little bag Osprey? Thank you
Were you able to carry on your bag on the plane or did you have to check it?
If you buy stuff where do you squeeze it in?
Hey Nadine what size liters is your backpack and what are those black organization bags called?
I LOVE THAT SHIRT OMG WHERE CAN I GET IT!!!!! And thanks for the video Nadine!!(:
