Noels vocal style isnt as exhausting as Liams therefore Noel can sing his style for many many years to come. The fact that he allows Liam to use his songs shows that it is annoyance rather than abject hate toward his younger brother, but being constantly annoyed is hard to put up with so the split was probably the correct decision.
Saying that they have both matured and should at least get back to being brothers a few meetings with mum every year would be a nice start if only just for her benefit.
