This 'drama', coming from an Indian reporter was extremely laughable. This kind of meditation has been in INDIA (and south and east Asia) for atleast 2000+ years. In contrast to gospel based blind faith religions, these meditations seek to understand life, death, body and mind, leading to epiphanies. Whether they are successful or not, I have no clue, just that these practices has been there for a long long time. Nor is it witchcraft or sorcery related. there ae other meditation sanctuaries in jungle which follow this practice. This particular incident may be due to these practices are inconsistent with now legal requirements of keeping remains and disposing of those OR a suspicion of foul play, which is to be uncovered by the police.
It is a normal practise of monks to use human skeletons in meditation to see the reality of the temporariness of the life... and in some temples keep the dead bodies of the monks as it is in his meditating cell without removing them.. to see what really happens to our beautifully protected body after the death... so just investigate and tell that these people have been murdered by the abbot or not without reporting nonsense....

It is Samadhi Meditation which was practiced from hundreds of years. In India we have Samadhi mandir of many gurus. Some entered Samadhi state while alive. It is leaving human body by choice but it is not a suicide. There is also a church in Goa where body of priest is there from hundreds yesrs. Yes it doesnt smell of deadbodies. We have had meditations released to deaths since time immemorial, cremation ground meditations and aghoris have been here since long, long time. If the bodies were donated, and legally obtained, the government and public should have no say in it. Just leave the practices alone as long as they are not harming anyone. We have had meditations released to deaths since time immemorial, cremation ground meditations and aghoris have been here since long, long time. If the bodies were donated, and legally obtained, the government and public should have no say in it. Just leave the practices alone as long as they are not harming anyone. Of course, though they should look up how the bodies were obtained, beyond that it is up to the temple on how to use them.

Temple with corpses and crocodiles what is going , temple is a place for worshiping not corpses being kept without cremating ,unless for cremating them and placing in the urns being kept in that temple that i understood because as i went to one of the temple i saw urns of the lost one , rest in peace for them
Worship whome? To understand what is happening..you need to understand meditation. There is this meditation were one enter to death with full self awareness...but not all can do this since people are attached(clinging) to life...will transcend to pure consciousness(self realization)
