Regarding Salah, I taight myself salah using a book. Wudu was a challenge too. I told Allah (SWT) that I was doing baby wudu and baby salah. It has been over three weeks and I am finally getting the hang of it. If anyone is a new revert like myself, hang in there. Have patience. You’ll catch on. May Allah (SWT) always guide this revert and all reverts. May He guide the entire ummah.

DA'AWAH to the NOT-YET-Muslims with VERSES of the QUR'AN is a very important COMMANDMENT by ALLAH SWT and therefore COMPULSORY upon every Muslim There are MORE THAN THREE HUNDRED verses of the Qur'an starting with "قل / Qul / Say" and there are only 67 verses on prayer. The question to ask is: SAY TO WHOM? Mostly SAY TO THE NOT-YET MUSLIMS? قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ, ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ, وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ, لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ "SAY (to the NOT-YET-MUSLIMS and the disbelievers): 'He is the One God: (asad) ALLAH, the Eternal, the Uncaused Cause of All Being, on WHOM everything else is dependent' 'He begets not, and neither is He begotten; 'and there is nothing that could be compared with Him." (Qur'an and its translation Surah 112) قُلْ هَـذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُو إِلَى اللّهِ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَاْ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي وَسُبْحَانَ اللّهِ وَمَا أَنَاْ مِن الْمُشْرِكِين" Say [to the NOT-YET-MUSLIMS and disbelievers]: 'This is my way: Resting upon conscious insight accessible to reason, I am calling [you all] unto God I and they who follow me.' And [say:] 'Limitless is God in His glory; and I am not one of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside Him!' (Qur'an and its translation 12:108) قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِى وَنُسُكِى وَمَحْيَاىَ وَمَمَاتِى لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ "Say (to the NOT-YET-MUSLIMS and the disbelievers): 'Behold, my prayer, and (all] my acts of worship, and my living and my dying are for God [alone], the Sustainer of all the worlds.'" (Qur'an and its translation 6:162) So, the EASIEST, FASTEST and MOST EFFECTIVE way of doing da'wah to the NOT-YET-Muslims is just say to them the verses and discuss with them these verses. The followings are the way I have been doing da'awah developed since 1998: I mostly use selected verses of the Qur'an to do da'awah. I have been regularly distributing selected verses of the Qur'an translated into Mandarin on ONE A4 pages since 1998. AlhamduliLLAH, perhaps by now I have distributed to more than 50,000 PEOPLE of such pages. It is a very simple activity that can be performed by any Muslim of any intellectual and other background. My approach is based on among others: أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم وَقُرْآناً فَرَقْنَاهُ لِتَقْرَأَهُ عَلَى النَّاسِ عَلَى مُكْثٍ وَنَزَّلْنَاهُ تَنزِيلاً "And (it is) a QUR'AN which We have GRADUALLY unfolded, so that thou might RECITE it to (ALL) HUMANKIND by STAGES. We have revealed it STEP by step, as [one] revelation. " (The Qur'an and its translation 17:106 ) فَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَجَاهِدْهُم بِهِ جِهَادًا كَبِيرًا ( So do NOT obey the disbelievers, but do JIHAD against them (with the QUR'AN) with the UTMOST JIHAD" (The Qur'an and its translation 25:52) نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ We know BEST of what they say. And you are not the one to force them (to belief). WARN THEM WITH THE QUR'AN him who fear my threat. (The Qur'an and its translation 50:45) بلغوا عني ولو اية "Convey from me even ONE VERSE (of the QUR'AN)." (Hadith Bukhari and Tarmidhi) A very SIMPLE and FAST method of doing Da'awah: The ultimate OBJECTIVE of doing da'awah to the NOT-YET-MUSLIMS is to try to make them to say the SYAHADATAIN as soon as possible. Here is a very easy and fast method of reaching the objective, InsyaALLAH. 1. Print/Photocopy as many nicely designed A4 flyers containing: Page 1: selected verses of the QUR'AN in English/MANDARIN or any other languages as possible - 1,000, 2,000 or more copies. Page 2: scientific facts and MATHEMATICAL MIRACLES of the QUR'AN 2. APPROACH the people. Be extremely friendly, give them the very BEST SMILE one can give. 3. Distribute the A4 flyers to them or stick these onto their CARS' windscreens or place these into their house or office MAIL boxes, on their tables in restaurants. Meet them at where they are instead of they come and meet us. Distribute to as many people as possible. In just 2 - 3 hours, each person may be able to distribute more than 1,000 such A4 leaflets. 4. If given the opportunity have a CHAT with them, use the LABS technique: a. LOGIC: Ask them: "Are there any of these verses that are ILLOGICAL?/ Do you find anything ILLOGICAL in these verses?" Get them to say that the verses are logical by asking more related questions. b. AGREEMENT: Ask them: "Do you agree with these verses? Do you find anything that you don't agree in these verses" Discuss with them in the most AMICABLE and FRIENDLY ways until they agree. c. BELIEVABLE: Ask them whether they believe these verses are revelation from the CREATOR of the universe. Discuss with them politely until they say they believe. LISTEN to them very attentively and NEVER interrupt them when they speak. Ask them a few more relevant questions. Handle their objections, worries, doubts, etc. with seriousness and care. d. SYAHADAH: Explain the meaning of Syahadah. Invite them to say it! Get 2 Muslims to witness it. e. For those who do not want to do the syahadah: 1. Discuss with them SCIENTIFIC facts and MATHEMATICAL MIRACLES of the QUR'AN and why it is from the CREATOR of the universe, the OMNIPOTENT, the OMNISCIENT: a. request them to download a book, "The Bible, The Qur'an And Science", by a FRENCH MEDICAL SCIENTIST, Dr. Maurice Bucaille, from: www.islamicbook.ws/english/english-048.pdf Quotes from the book: "The QUR'AN is of DIVINE origin and contains SCIENTIFICALLY CORRECT facts." * FRANCE's Medical SCIENTIST, Dr. Maurice Bucaille: "For me there can be NO HUMAN explanation to the QUR'AN." (Pg. 86/170) "..... I had to acknowledge the EVIDENCE in front of me: the QUR'AN did NOT contain a SINGLE STATEMENT that was ASSAILABLE from a modern SCIENTIFIC point." (Pg. 9/170) The Bible, The Qur'an and Science: downloadable book Dr. Maurice Bucaille, Seghers Paris: "SEEK SCIENCE EVEN IN CHINA" - saying of Prophet MUHAMMAD, peace be upon him (pg. 80) "..... the latter (i.e. the QUR'AN) does NOT contain a SINGLE SCIENTIFIC statement that is UNACCEPTABLE. How could he (i.e. Prophet Muhammad, pbuh) then pronounce TRUTHS of a SCIENTIFIC nature NO OTHER HUMAN being could possibly have developed at that time, and all this WITHOUT ONCE making the SLIGHTEST ERROR in his his pronouncements on the subject. For me there can be NO HUMAN explanation to the QUR'AN." (Pg. 86/170) "In view of the level of knowledge in Muhammad's day, it is INCONCEIVABLE that many of the statements which are connected with science could have been the work of a man. , It is, moreover, PERFECTLY LEGITIMATE, not only to regard the Qur'an as the expression of a REVELATION, but also to award it a special place on account of the GUARANTEE of AUTHENTICITY it provides and the presence in it of SCIENTIFIC statements which, when studied today appear as a challenge to explanation in human terms." (pg. 164/170) "..... the QUR'AN deals with many subjects of interest to SCIENCE, FAR MORE in fact than the BIBLE." (Pg. 8/170) b. EMBRYOLOGY in the QUR'AN: A MULTI-AWARD-WINNING WORLD'S AUTHORITY on Human Anatomy and Embryology PROFESSOR Keith MOORE'S statement on "Embryology in the Qur'an: UA-cam video clip at 2:36: "The description of human EMBRYOLOGY in the QUR'AN could not be based on the Scientific knowledge in the 7th. century. Regarding Salah, I taight myself salah using a book. Wudu was a challenge too. I told Allah (SWT) that I was doing baby wudu and baby salah. DA'AWAH to the NOT-YET-Muslims with VERSES of the QUR'AN
is a very important
COMMANDMENT
by ALLAH SWT and therefore
COMPULSORY
upon every Muslim
There are MORE THAN THREE HUNDRED verses of the Qur'an starting with "قل / Qul / Say" and there are only 67 verses on prayer. The question to ask is:
SAY TO WHOM?
Mostly
SAY TO THE NOT-YET MUSLIMS?
قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ,
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ,
وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ,
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
"SAY (to the NOT-YET-MUSLIMS and the disbelievers):
'He is the One God: (asad)
ALLAH, the Eternal, the Uncaused Cause of All Being, on WHOM everything else is dependent'
'He begets not, and neither is He begotten;
'and there is nothing that could be compared with Him."
(Qur'an and its translation Surah 112)
قُلْ هَـذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُو إِلَى اللّهِ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَاْ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي
وَسُبْحَانَ اللّهِ وَمَا أَنَاْ مِن الْمُشْرِكِين"
Say [to the NOT-YET-MUSLIMS and disbelievers]:
'This is my way: Resting upon conscious insight accessible to reason, I am calling [you all] unto God I and they who follow me.' And [say:] 'Limitless is God in His glory; and I am not one of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside Him!'
(Qur'an and its translation 12:108)
قُلْ إِنَّ صَلَاتِى وَنُسُكِى وَمَحْيَاىَ وَمَمَاتِى لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
"Say (to the NOT-YET-MUSLIMS and the disbelievers):
'Behold, my prayer, and (all] my acts of worship, and my living and my dying are for God [alone], the Sustainer of all the worlds.'"
(Qur'an and its translation 6:162)
So, the EASIEST, FASTEST and MOST EFFECTIVE way of doing da'wah to the NOT-YET-Muslims is just say to them the verses and discuss with them these verses.
The followings are the way I have been doing da'awah developed since 1998:
I mostly use selected verses of the Qur'an to do da'awah. I have been regularly distributing selected verses of the Qur'an translated into Mandarin on ONE A4 pages since 1998.
AlhamduliLLAH, perhaps by now I have distributed to more than
50,000 PEOPLE
of such pages. It is a very simple activity that can be performed by any Muslim of any intellectual and other background.
My approach is based on among others:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم
وَقُرْآناً فَرَقْنَاهُ لِتَقْرَأَهُ عَلَى النَّاسِ عَلَى مُكْثٍ وَنَزَّلْنَاهُ تَنزِيلاً
"And (it is) a QUR'AN which We have GRADUALLY unfolded, so that thou might
RECITE it to (ALL) HUMANKIND by STAGES.
We have revealed it STEP by step, as [one] revelation. " (The Qur'an and its translation 17:106 )
فَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَجَاهِدْهُم بِهِ جِهَادًا كَبِيرًا
( So do NOT obey the disbelievers, but do JIHAD against them (with the QUR'AN) with the
UTMOST JIHAD"
(The Qur'an and its translation 25:52)
نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ
We know BEST of what they say. And you are not the one to force them (to belief).
WARN THEM WITH THE QUR'AN him who fear my threat. (The Qur'an and its translation 50:45)
بلغوا عني ولو اية
"Convey from me even ONE VERSE (of the QUR'AN)." (Hadith Bukhari and Tarmidhi)
A very SIMPLE and FAST method of doing Da'awah:
The ultimate OBJECTIVE of doing da'awah to the NOT-YET-MUSLIMS is to try to make them to say the SYAHADATAIN as soon as possible. Here is a very easy and fast method of reaching the objective, InsyaALLAH.
1. Print/Photocopy as many nicely designed A4 flyers containing:
Page 1: selected verses of the
QUR'AN in English/MANDARIN
or any other languages as possible - 1,000, 2,000 or more copies.
Page 2: scientific facts and MATHEMATICAL MIRACLES of the QUR'AN
2. APPROACH the people. Be extremely friendly, give them the very BEST SMILE one can give.
3. Distribute the A4 flyers to them or stick these onto their CARS' windscreens or place these into their house or office MAIL boxes, on their tables in restaurants. Meet them at where they are instead of they come and meet us. Distribute to as many people as possible.
In just 2 - 3 hours, each person may be able to distribute more than 1,000 such A4 leaflets.
4. If given the opportunity have a CHAT with them, use the LABS technique:
a. LOGIC: Ask them: "Are there any of these verses that are ILLOGICAL?/ Do you find anything ILLOGICAL in these verses?"
Get them to say that the verses are logical by asking more related questions.
b. AGREEMENT: Ask them: "Do you agree with these verses? Do you find anything that you don't agree in these verses" Discuss with them in the most AMICABLE and FRIENDLY ways until they agree.
c. BELIEVABLE: Ask them whether they believe these verses are revelation from the CREATOR of the universe. Discuss with them politely until they say they believe.
LISTEN to them very attentively and NEVER interrupt them when they speak.
Ask them a few more relevant questions.
Handle their objections, worries, doubts, etc. with seriousness and care.
d. SYAHADAH: Explain the meaning of Syahadah. Invite them to say it! Get 2 Muslims to witness it.
e. For those who do not want to do the syahadah:
1. Discuss with them SCIENTIFIC facts and MATHEMATICAL MIRACLES of the QUR'AN and why it is from the CREATOR of the universe, the OMNIPOTENT, the OMNISCIENT:
a. request them to download a book, "The Bible, The Qur'an And Science", by a FRENCH MEDICAL SCIENTIST, Dr. Maurice Bucaille, from:
