Joker is the best villain in DC universe. Whenever he appears you can see in the comics how every member of the Bat family starts panicking.

It's not just the Bat Family that panic when dealing with the Joker, most of the DC world does (villain and hero alike)
hopewec I have it understood that when villains want to spook each other they tell stories about the Joker's....feats.
+MrKamnum He's one of the best, at least. There are many amazing villains you just can't decide between. I think Joker is probably the funniest and most complex villain, Deathstroke (who doesn't really count as a villain) is the most badass, and Professor Zoom is the scariest villain, since the Flash even warned the Justice League never to engage him without his help and he can literally just erase you from existence if he feels like it.

It's quite amazing how well miracleofsound can pull off Mark Hamill's joker.
What I love most about this song is it describes Batman and the Jokers relationship perfectly and makes you question if what the Joker says is true if they are the same or if they need each other many other things.
Still a better love story than Twilight......

Absolutely beautiful. This song perfectly captures Batman and the Joker's relationship. As much as he despises the Joker, Batman needs him. He is the Bat's true opposite and Batman can never get rid of him. If Batman were to kill the Joker, the Joker will have won. He will have successfully corrupted the Dark Knight and made him stoop to the level of the mugger who murdered his parents.
THAT is exactly why every batman movie with the Joker have been quite... BAD actually. It isn't MEANT for the joker to die. He is meant to ALWAYS be a precence for the bat, in one way or the other-
The Joker has only died once in a movie. And he's died in the comic before, like in The Dark Knight Returns.

Amazing song, I can totally imagine Arkham Asylum Hamill's Joker singing this one. It captures Joker's spirit perfectly, sounds so creepy like Joker should always be. It gave me chills a couple of times.

The Joker, as we know him, is a byproduct of Batman's own actions and existence.
The reason as to why the Joker exists, within that universe and ours, is solely to provide opposition to Batman, a sort of counterweight.

Why in Hades doesn't this have more views? This is as definitive as a batman/joker song gets.
Imagine, if you will, from 2:59 onwards: all the cells of Arkham are shown, in a slow panning shot, empty and with their doors open. As soon as the chorus hits the first notes, a pan-view of the ball room is shown, with all of Arkham's inmates (Poision Ivy, Scarecrow, Two-Face, Penguin, Bane, Harley Quinn, the Mad Hatter and Killer Croc just being the most notable) joining the Joker's chorus as they dance a waltz with an imaginary Batman. Joker, weakened and disfigured by the TITAN-formula, ponderously watches them before the chorus ends and the inmates turn to Joker to finish their performance.
This song hits the nail on the head, even if i think the relationship is the other way around: Joker would be lost without "Bats" and not the other way :-)
