thank you so much for this tutorial on how to make the tiny flowers! I make cards using material from donated bras, to raise funds for UK breast cancer charities, and have loads of tinu bits of material and lace that I don't know what to do with. 😁
I always throw those tiny pieces away. I will not do that anymore. Those flowers were just gorgeous 😍. I just loved them. Such a sweet embellishment. Thank you.
Oh Gi I could watch you making these flowers all day long. You have the most beautiful hands and lovely nails. I have just ordered the glue stand thank you for showing us that. Love Bella xxxx
Gi, I really enjoy you everyday, even if you don't have a new video. It gives me a chance to watch your last video again. I love all the many many avenues you share with us. I never liked mixed media and I still struggle with so many layers. So I stop with 3 maybe 4 if I use guesso. Never used it before, but, trying. Thank you for for showing what colored pencils will do on mixed media. I make 4x6 cards to use to journal on. Master board is for later. I enjoy you Freebees that coordinate. You always give us a project we can make without letting us know you are teaching us some technique to use in all our projects. Thank you so very much. Deloris
Absolutely love lace/ ribbon/ fabric flowers! I've always made them by sewing and gathering as you have, BUT I have never made them with small pieces of lace like you made the small ones! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful idea! ❤
Thank you Gi, I love what you've done with the beautiful fabric, they're all so pretty and very easy to make too. I love your videos, each one is so different, interesting and exciting as well. Take care, and thanks again Gi. Xx😘
Another note to those needing lace. There’s a fabulous source in the US. It’s called Fabscrap and has scraps of many types of fabric from the New York garment area. These are trim ends from the high end design houses. Not sure if they ship overseas. I received a great assortment of lace scraps in many different colors for US $8. That’s a lot of lace!
16:08 This idea of building flowers on a threaded needle on a pincushion from the tiniest scarps of fabric with a tiny bead is supercool! Adding some bulk (hot glue in this case) in between the ‘petals’ and then squeezing to give that some puffiness is so clever. Saving that on my Pinterest board. And this is a perfect opportunity to create a beautiful pincushion and leave it out in the open to admire and use often when creating with fabric and lace scraps. This video inspired me on a nice project and new process going forward.
Gi, thank you sooo much for this tutorial. This is the easiest lace and fabric flowers I've ever seen and I am all geared up to mass make flowers this weekend 😊😍Love your easy teaching method...
Thanks for sharing this. I’ve been thinking of getting a smaller glue gun but I wasn’t sure what brand or style. You did frighten me a little with your lighter. lol
