I did this with my first sell on eBay. I was like o ish I don’t have a printer! Thought I’d have to go to staples or FedEx and have them print, so this was great for me! 👍 I just wish I could do it at my post office kiosk.
looks interesting. I really can only see it being used for one package being shipped at a time, and in my mind it targets the hobby/new sellers. I cant see this being used for multiple packages, if its one QR per package, could get confusing real fast. My guess is that since EBay now offers UPS shipping, that it will be done through UPS stores, since they are already equipped with this type of service. Thanks
I have had this option for a few months now. I think it will save a lot of stress when you have run out of ink or paper or your pc or printer is jammed up. I was glad to see it was an option but i dont think I would use it unless I had a printing malfunction. It was available for usps.
I'm not ready to trust rural post office with getting this right. They have short hours and close everyday for lunch time. The do good, but they are already overwhelmed.
In today's current environment I really don't see this being a benefit for me Craig. I can print labels on my thermal printers just as quick if not quicker and have my carrier collect them without having to leave my house. I get the concept, but for me it's not necessarily any easier. Thanks for the info just the same my friend, always appreciated!
I see several problems for me with this. 1. I ship up to 20 packages at a time and would so confuse which code went with which package. I would then be sending a pair of boots to someone who ordered a watch. This would create some incredibly fun times! 2. I really like my USPS counter clerks. This system would possibly add 1 to 15 minutes to my checkout time with them adding more work to their hectic schedule. 3. Infrequently, but often enough, other USPS customers behind me in line seem a bit put off with amount of stuff I am checking in. This system would add time to their wait - true that all is fair in love and war, but in the small town I live I don't particularly need local enemies. 4. I don't do it, but many resellers use USPS pickup, and adding the extra time to their work day might get hectic for them too. Lots of scenarios for sure --- I will probably stick to my thermal and laser printers, but were I only shipping 1 or 2 items a day this would seem a pretty good option. Thanks for the video!
I completely agree Todd. I see this being helpful for smaller / casual sellers that don’t ship much. I got the notification about it and thought I would cover it for those that may be interested
@@MACESTechnologiesLLC I think I will approach my local postmaster about this. He is really pretty knowledgeable and I would like his opinion about it. I will let you know what I find out.
The post office 4 times can't scan my qr prepaid label code that I got from ebay ,I don't have a computer, no access to a computer no how,I don't know how to use a computer, post office said i need to print this label first, I don't know how, post office said they can't. Please help,I have been trying for 2 weeks so far. 😒

This is actually pretty cool. This is the first I hear of this, so thank you kindly for sharing, Craig! A step in the right direction.

i agree. definitely not practical for anyone with a large qty of sales each day

I understand for sure.

I agree. I dont think there is much of an advantage for anyone with a decent qty of items going out, but for the smaller seller it could be useful.
great info man, thanks!
may no be very practical for someone selling a large qty of items every day, but for a smaller seller, it could save some money on printer, ink, etc.
Ya the clerks hate it lol people have been doing this for about 3 weeks now and the clerks are hating it
clerks hate it...oh well...they get paid to do a job...:). thanks for checking out the video. I hope you are doing well!!

Nice my dear friend thanks for the sharing very interesting my dear😍😍😍💞💞😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💖💖
Im not really seeing this being an advantage to anyone, but I don't see it hurting anything either. Thanks for posting this explanation!
I think it would be useful for the casual / hobby seller that doesn’t sell much. Just got the notification and thought I would share
Thanks LandShark for sharing, good info!💥👊💥
No problem. Hope u are doing well my friend

Do I have to go to the post office or can my regular home mail man do it?
From the way i understand it it has to be taken to the retail counter
@@MACESTechnologiesLLC OK - thank you.
Does it work from iPhone
I am not sure. I only process orders from my computer. I will check asap
I’m standing here at the post office packaging up an item and it says click this to purchase the label It didn’t say anything about QR code
