To be honest, I thought the makeup look was a little basic, especially for you. But you understand anime so it turned out perfect. But what REALLY sets you out from the crowd is your creativity. That intro was everything!! I replayed it and it impressed me so much.
Exactly. Even her basic tutorials can just be, amazing. The way her colours pop out is just amazing. She deserves to be in the top 20.

Oh my gosh! I wish!! It was written (and shot) to be longer but I just didn't have time to edit/animate it all because of the time constraints of the competition. Maybe I'll do more of this video style in the future because I loooove making them!

this is amazing don't listen to the haters that say this is cringey or calling you a weaboo cause this is not what a weaboo Is lol they don't know the real definition of one they just follow what it says in the urban dictionary which is wrong anyway because those are just stereotypic people who shames anyone with the slightest interest in anything Japanese. people can't just like things anymore without being called a name these days. don't stop being Kawaii even though people tell you to stop. just be you and have fun.

Lol! I love the ending with Pipes interrupting your skits. That shows how much effort you're willing to put into your work even with a little furball blooping the scene(s). The Princess Pipes knows she's important no matter what. So cute!!!

is it ok to use false eyelashes if you have short eyelashes?

people with all different length lashes or who even have no lashes use falsies. just make sure to be patient and get them as close to your lash line as possible and us mascara to make them all blend together c:
I think most of the time, the people who use false eyelashes the most are those with short lashes since they aren't able to build up mascara to the level they desire. But as the previous commenters said, anyone can wear falsies!

If I can recommend something I think u should change the thumb nail of the video. I enjoyed the video very much but I think have a thumb nail that shows the finished makeup look may benefit u.
Sometimes UA-cam doesn't upload the thumbnail right away and it just uses a screenshot until the thumbnail processes. It should be fixed now. ;D

I don't get how in her very first video she talked normal and kinda deep and now a days she talks very high pitch and giggles after every word and at everything she does.
Hi! I've noticed the same thing and thought about it quite a bit. The only person who can really say what happened between then and now is Alexa but I have a possible theory lol. Maybe when she was first starting UA-cam she tried harder to annunciate, speak clearly, etc. (I get it - I've filmed a few videos before but sounded nothing like myself because I was trying too hard to sound proper.) And now that it's been so long she can talk more like herself. Also her audio quality has definitely gotten bette, she probably has a microphone now - instead of having to talk into a camera, you know?
IsabellaRuby so now because we can hear her we can understand her and her giggles. But before we couldn't so she didn't act herself? I find it harder to understand her now and talks way too fast. Doesn't make sense, sorry love.
I think she's just a lot more comfortable around the camera now! I'm like that too, as I get to know people better my voice changes because I'm more comfortable to be myself around them.

Exactly! Her first submission was better than this! This is one of the most basic looks on her channel and it is really saddening as someone who has been rooting for her to win one of these things for years.
ACTUALLY she does stand our unlike a lot she used her creativity to make her own style and character! I think she was more unique just for that reason.

The intro was not very well done compared to her other video entries, in my opinion. And the makeup was really not that unique and I feel like doing a simple magical girl is a cope-out in this case....

I think your video is really unique Alexa! Most of the other competitors seem to have simply done a makeup tutorial on existing anime characters, and you went up and made your own kawaii af magical girl! I really, really hope you make it to the top 12, because you put in sooooooo much effort and went full ham, and I just really want to see you win. I think you would bring a lot of uniqueness to the top 6 if you make it, just like Mykie did last year.

+sarahjanetuverson I'm a hardcore anime fan and most anime are beautifully polished. take sailor moon crystal for example. she should have gotten more realistic and better quality anime wigs that actually look like hair instead of yarn. and if you're gonna defend atrocious editing then have fun with that.
if you are going to hate on some random girl online for no reason and wasting your time, have fun with that. not everyone can afford perfect and crazy expensive editing tools, and there's no reason to bring it up.
