I’m so glad that I’ve found your channel! I enjoy and appreciate your knowledge of orchid care very much. I’m looking forward to watching your videos on not only future videos but older ones as well. Thank you for sharing! 😊
Soak in Physan 20... for 15 minutes. Then repeat after 2 weeks and one more time after 2 weeks. Soaking 5 minutes less each time. Water separate as long as you have it. Can also spray leaves each week for a month.
Extremely useful info - thanks for sharing! I am typically anti-chemicals for my growing environment, but I may have to make an exception this time. I suppose when you grow enough orchids long enough, it’s a matter of time before this creeps in to your collection. I don’t want it to take over.
Thanks for your informative video. Just wondering if hydrogen peroxide is useful to spray on that fungal infection & can you spell what that infection is?
Fusarium…hydrogen peroxide is more of a topical treatment and this infection requires something stronger that can be absorbed by the plant. Thanks for watching!
I have to cattleyas that I thought was during well. The leaves looked good, I thought was fine. Didn't see roots. I checked them both, rotten roots and dead pseudobulbs. I cut of the dead roots and repoted them in small bark with perlite and charcoal. Did I do a good thing.

Hard to say without actually seeing the orchid. But, whether it thrives or fails you will learn something from trying. Best of luck!
