Brilliant session ! Just love those tight NZ streams. Gear question…what lanyard do you use….like the back net holder, exactly what I’d like to run / after to cross over with wet wading.
What a great video Ollie and that was both entertaining and educational seeing you two pro’s handle the wind on such small water. I will say, as a USA angler…those eels creep me out
I absolutely enjoyed this fishing. Here in Wv USA, my favorite creek looks like this creek y’all fished. It has browns that get up to 28”’s on occasion but a 20” one is a big one here. I’m fishing it today and I’m hoping to catch them on dries. Thanks a ton !!!!!!

@@blueridgeflyguy9551 cheers! I don’t mind the eels, but I really didn’t like the rattlesnakes in the states. I guess it’s what you are used to
Nice video mate

@@wvlongshooter3912 thanks! Tight lines
The fishing was great content. The language; from the onset, detracts from the enjoyment of the skill and experience you both clearly have.
Never seen anyone use an automatic reel, seems to really serve a purpose controlling your line.
@@johnreed4962 can be for smaller fish, bigger ones it’s better with a manual one
