UPDATE ON MATTHEW RUSHIN'S CASE: HE HAS BEEN PARDONED BY THE VA GOVERNOR! Thank you all so much for emailing, donating, and spreading the word. With your help, we have donated $300+ dollars and I had doubled it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
thank you for speaking up about Matthew Rushin's case - it is definitely NOT weird to put this in a vlog. In fact, I applaud you for doing so. Influencers have the privilege of having large platforms and choosing to speak out on these injustices is greatly necessary - now more than ever. Desmond Tutu says silence is choosing the side of the oppressor and that statement could not be more valid. In speaking out and bringing light to these issues on your platform you are literally and metaphorically standing up against injustice and the inequality BIPOC/disabled/trans folks suffer on a daily basis. Not worrying about these issues or not speaking on them actively because they don't effect you personally or you feel as if it may hurt your "brand" is a privilege within itself. If you lose subscribers because of this or receive hate for putting this in a vlog please know - from a subscriber who feels as if we'd be friends in real life - they aren't subscribers worth keeping. Our time on this earth is so finite and standing up against racism/injustice actively and elevating BIPOC voices is one of the most profound things we can do as allies. Much love and solidarity, Natalie! 💕🦋
@@NatalieBarbu My dear dear greetings, I wish you from the bottom of my heart success and lasting happiness in this world and the hereafter, and that all wishes come true for you.🌺🌹🌺🌹🌺🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for bringing Matthew’s case to our awareness. It’s heartbreaking. I just donated $10, and I’m so happy I was able to contribute to helping him and his family with this horrible circumstance.
Thank you so much for using your platform to speak on Matthew Rushin's case. I'm so appreciative of you using your voice to stand up for what you believe in.
I live in Oregon and had never heard of Matthew Rushin's case. I checked out the Facebook page and also went to the petition at change.org. his story breaks my heart. Thank you for using your influence for good in this world. His family is blessed to have your voice part of those outraged on his behalf. Hopefully we can raise awareness to the highest levels so this does not happen again and that Matthew is able to go free.
Thanks Natalie for being such an example. I'm french living in Vietnam I didn't know this case, and I just sent the email, to the governor; what you do is truly admirable!
You have quickly become my favorite UA-camr. You’re not only very beautiful and nice, but it’s clear you are super business savvy and smart about what you do which goes a long way
Thank you for being so open about your life. We, viewers, sometimes fail to see that this is not a TV show and that there are real people behind the scenes. Thank you for using your platform to bring attention to Matthew's case. With so much bad news in the world, it makes me believe again in humans and our capacity for compassion.
Thank you for mentioning Mathew's case! Definitely will be supporting it! Ps it is so kind of you to be donating the revenue of the video! You're such a great role model
Hearing about Matthew Rushin's case is absolutely heartbreaking to me, thank you so much for sharing. This makes me so so angry because my boyfriend died at the scene of what is now deemed as an "accident" by the police when we know that the person who caused it had turned into oncoming traffic and could have been prevented. We have pushed so hard but because the person involved was a "very nice lady" they do not want to look at it all. How does this stuff get put aside but something like Matthew's case is judged in the most unjust and harsh manner.
Honestly I wasn’t thinking to click on this vlog but I did it anyway, now I understand why, I needed to donate to Matthews case Thank you so much for using your platform for this!! 💖💖
Use caster oil!!! it is great for growing hair! I've had the same issue when I was super stressed my first year of college and I also used to stress pick my lashes. I started using caster oil and my lashes came back, are longer, and I have more of them than before. My hair is much more thicker and healthier like when I was a kid. My hair grows super fast because of it. Just put it in your roots and spread it through your hair once a week and keep it in for about an hour and then wash it out!
i love this and everything you stand for. thank you for using your platform for good and being one of the most raw, open and vulnerable creators i've seen to date. so so so happy our paths have crossed.
I love that you put the donations in perspective. (That as a group we can make a difference.) I sent a modest donation, and I hope as a community here on this video I am just one of a huge number that pool funds together for this family.
I love that a youtuber is actually shedding like on Matthew Rushin's case instead of the typical influencer culture of buy this and that. I made it to the point in the video where I emailed the governor. Like this if you emailed the governor too.
Just donated to Matthew Rushin's paypal. Even though I can't do much to help since I'm living in another country... you can always do something. I admire you for doing what so many influencers aren't doing - speaking out about injustice.
I have a long history of hair troubles and bald spots and excessive shedding. A couple things that helped make it better - collagen! Finding a good shampoo and paying attention to massaging my scalp, and then the biggest game changer taking myself out of stressful situations! This even meant getting out a relationship that was actually causing stress and I didn’t even realize it.
Thank you so much for speaking up about Matthew's case! I had not heard about it before you mentioned anything. My daughter has autism and if anything like this ever happened to her, I don't know what I'd do. Donating as much as I can!!
My hair has been falling like crazy too!!! I had a dermatologist appointment and she told me that it was because of stress . And she also told me that maybe something that happened 6 months ago is making my body to react this way 🤷🏽♀️ (sorry about my english I need more practice 🙈) LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! ✨♥️
I can sooo relate to the imposter syndrome and not having it together girl! 🙋🏼♀️ Thank you for being so open and authentic about how you're feeling! 💞
I am going through the exact same thing with the hair loss, losing an extreme amount of hair lately ever since the quarantine started, my doctor said it could be either due to stress levels or lack of vitamin D so I am taking biotin and Vitamin D once a day to see if that works! Anyways, even though you just briefly mentioned it it's seriously so nice to know I am not alone and other people are struggling with the same thing. It also sounds like such a first world problem but when it's a LOT it's honestly super alarming. So thank you for sharing!!!
All in all I absolutely love your growth over the past year that I've been following you. I totally relate to your imposter syndrome, I'm trying so hard to do something about it. Loved this vlog!!
Thank you for sharing the story about Matthew. I honestly had no clue as I live in Canada. Will check out all the info you shared & let my American friends know too. Love you Natalie!!💕💕💕
For hair fall try biotin, don t wash your hair so often, and use castor oil in your scalp as a pre poo. You will notice the difference very quickly. Sending you love❤
Please keep us updated about your hair! We’re the same age and I’ve been dealing a lot with my hair falling out, thank you for sharing it definitely makes me feel more normal that I’m not the only one! Love u ❤️
Hi love your videos! I used to experience extreme hair shedding a couple months ago and my blood work came back all clear and still did not know. A friend who had alopecia used organic castor oil and told me to try it. I am not kidding, my receding hair line has noticeable grown back in less than two months and I barely shed anymore. Highly recommend it!
I appreciate you bringing light to this issue! I appreciate how much you’ve grown over the years. I know people have been dragging you for old tweets, but it’s clear you are not the same person as you used to be. There are some people who have said racist stuff in the past and it’s clear they have not changed but are pretending to be different, I don’t think that’s the case for you. Would love to see you encourage to vote in the next coming weeks too!!
Hey Natalie! Collagen is great because it’s going to make your hair stronger. I use collagen for her. Green tea rinses are good for hair shedding too. You also may want to try an actual protein treatment on your hair. I use Aphogee 2 step treatment and I love it. Rice water treatments help with hair shedding as well. Another recommendation is Olaplex-while I haven’t used it, I feel like everyone swears by it and I’ve only heard good things about it. I don’t know how you feel about oils, but emu oil is a great oil for awakening hair follicles and stopping hair loss. Maybe right before you shampoo your hair, massage it into your scalp, cover your hair for 30min and then continue your wash routine. Sorry if this is information overload lol just giving you some options. Also be careful and don’t use too much protein on your hair as it can cause hair to be dry and brittle
When my anxiety is really bad I lose SO much hair! I don’t have any advice on how to combat it but if you have ways to manage your anxiety that work, that may help! Good luck girl ❤️
IRON girl. My hair was doing the same and i had blood work. turns out i was anemic! i ate food with lots of iron instead of supplements and my hair stopped falling out :-)
Really appreciate the openness and honesty about everyday life which is honestly quite mundane a lot of the time. Especially with restrictions because of COVID, I’m feeling the monotony of every day being the same in college... Also thanks for sharing this case, I will definitely look more into it and donate 😫😫
emailed the governor! hope it helps, thats such a terrible unfair story. i cant believe that even happened ): thank you for using your platform to create awareness!!!
That’s outrageous! And heartbreaking 😰 Echoing is common for some people on the spectrum; I have an autistic nephew and my worry is the older he gets the more likely something like this could happen. God bless you for speaking about this, and for your compassion, Natalie. This is why police departments need to work in tandem with social services. Brute force is not always the solution.
I have PCOS and I know a common symptom of that is loss of hair?? I personally don't have an issue with that but I know some do! not sure if that is any help!
Love your videos! Thank you for spreading awareness and knowledge. Also regarding your hair, did you get your vitamin d levels tested, hormones and iron? I highly recommend using hot pumpkin seed oil and adding some peppermint, rosemary and tea tree oil to the oil about 2x a week. About 5 drops for each. Leaving it on for at least 2 hours and massaging your scalp. Use a double boiler to heat it up bc a microwave will cause it to lose its nutrients. Also look for natural shampoos that don’t have parabens, SLS, use fragrances that are from essential oils if they’re in a hair product. Also be careful of dry shampoos Bc they can clog your pores in your scalp!
My hair has been falling like crazy lately so I took some tests and my iron is really low. I had my first iron infusion today so hopefully it will work. Love your videos❤️❤️
My hair was falling out like that when I was extremely stressed while working 2 jobs for four months. Massive lifestyle change might affect it like you moving and switching up everything (not a doctor there just sharing my experience) mine stopped when I quit my jobs and started traveling and its been a year since then and has grown a lot but I did get blood work done and everything (nothing was wrong) which is important!

That case is so heartbreaking! Thank you so much for sharing it and speaking up about it!
Love your realness and authenticity

watching all the ads to the end 🤍 I get imposter syndrome too but I need to get over it at this point, I do so much and still think I'm incapable 😬
I'll definitely email the governor about him.
If you can’t donate anything, watch all of the ads all the way through. You get more revenue if the viewers watch the ads all the way through
my most fav youtuber bc i can just relate so much to you
So relate to the how you talk on the phone. I think that all the time.
I have PCOS and I know a common symptom of that is loss of hair?? I personally don't have an issue with that but I know some do! not sure if that is any help!
Is the circular ring you always wear by Stone and Strand? Saw something similar in an ad they showed during your video!
i love your channel so much!!

About the hair, I have a friend who lost a bunch of hair when she first went on birth control. It eventually stopped falling out though

What yoga/workout program are you following? It looks so cool I’d love to try it🙏🏻
Your skin looks flawless 🙌🏼🥰

i emailed the govenor!

Maybe try taking some iron for your hair. If you have low iron levels it could affect hair loss and growth
I really appreciate your vlogs ! I had the same problem with my hair and I totally changed my routine! That could be caused by stress too 😣
It could be stress too!
