Chaperoned by 3 effects: the Strymon Big Sky Reverb, the Mooer Ocean Machine Reverb/Delay and the Elektron Analog Heat Mk2!
So the only instrument used in this track is the EMX1 groovebox.
I switched between 4 different patterns which were used in this track.
Quite a lot of the EMX1's parameters were internally sequenced (MOTION SEQ) to give a bit of motion to the sounds!

Oui assez d'accord, sans doute une des plus complètes (quoique l'Electribe 2 n'est pas mal non plus même si t'as pas les sorties séparées, mais tu gagnes l'export dans Live directement... que je n'ai finalement pas beaucoup utilisées contrairement à ce que j'avais pensé au départ 😅)

oui moi je ne l'ai jamais utilisé l'export dans Live encore, ni l'import de samples perso d'ailleurs haha

I think the emx1 is cool, just wish it had sampler
I agree! Korg released the ESX1 for its sampler groovebox back then (but it really would have been so cool if they decided to merge both grooveboxes in one!)

I haven't seen much of the ESX1, but it seems interesting because of the sampling feature. I will have to check it out at some point. The tubes makes this really exciting to play with.

Lovely jam there! Also thank you for ideas on the extra outs. I really love the stereo mains channel through the tubes and feel like the synth sounds and FX can have a sharp digital cutting modern wavetable synth type sound that really sounds good through the tubes. I have been sending all kinds of stuff through the external ins and and love what I can get out of it for dirt and modulation. It sounds like really dense multi FX can have that overall smoothing and nicely add cohesiveness too synth sounds going through the 3 and 4 outs. How do you like the Analog Heat?
Hey thanks for your comment! 😀 Actually I haven't used the EMX1's input a lot but indeed that's a cool option with its onboard tubes! The analog heat is a cool and versatile effect (with some nice modulation possibilities) ! It can be used subtly (a bit like a mastering effect) or to destroy your sound! Then it's really a matter of taste for how the analog distortions and filters sound 😉
@@2MinuteWarning synth, guitar, bass, vox... it loves them all! The coolest thing I realized was you can set multiple synth channels to audio in and process each one differently and have multiple layers or different parts for parts of the song or instrument. Mental.

I've not been using my EMX that much lately even if I think that it is a nice groovebox!
With the PX5, Octatrack and Lyra-8, you'll really have a very powerful setup 😉
