Dearion Faison I can't stop listening to the EX+ music either. Playing a lot of USFIV now but the music is absolute shit compared to gems like this, Guille's theme and Ryu's theme.
The secret is that the composers had actually put time and effort into the music instead of just pasting the same dubstep crap 100 times with slight variations.
Cause they came from probably the best time in gaming. Developers still had much freedom to experiment and evolve as budgets & financing were sufficient to really put in the resources. And SFEX music composers are some of the best in the business
Before this was all ripped, I'd just sit on a rug in front of the TV with some headphones plugged into the aux-in port, enter the game's audio settings, close my eyes and let the BGM play in full while my mum made dinner. 😂 Didn't need to add that last part but that's the vivid memory I have. I'd pit this genre defining OST against anything from today.
When this was on SFEX+Alpha and the Internet was dialup, the only way I had of listening to this was actually putting the game on training mode and selecting Hokuto or Kairi. Now I can listen to it whenever I want 😂 #technology

So, putting the disk into the CD player would make some noise: horrible screeching and ear-shattering pitches, because it'd be playing CD-ROM data and not audio tracks. You can play fighting ex layer to see them in their new designs. Though i will love to see hokuto and nanase in sfv just to listen to their english dub lol.

Just putting it out there in case people didn't know, Hokuto's design is almost an exact replica of the garb that is commonly worn by priestesses of Japanese Shrines, though typically the outfits would have red bottoms, not blue. (I believe Hokuto's alternate outfit has red bottoms instead of blue.)
Imagine a festival going on in town your just some average guy who is secretly a martial-artist and you attend the festival and suddenly in the new era you live in ninjas appear at the festival all on the roof looking down at you with a serious stare and your just ready to throw down as if your kiryu kazuma. 2:00
I almost forgot about this game. It has some really nifty characters, and I remember thoroughly enjoying Hokuto's style (Pollum's, too). Makes you think it a shame some of them were forgotten in Street Fighter IV, whether the reason is company politics or not I have no idea.
@MALVINDINHO Well technically this song was made in the mid/late 90's man. It originated in SF EX/EX Plus Alpha back in '96-'97. They just resused character themes in SF EX3. And to the OP, i know this comment is 4 years old but as someone born in '86 i can confirm that the 90's were awesome man. If i could go back i would.
