This channel reminds me of the old days of cable TV. When the History Channel was the History Channel, when TLC was The Learning Channel and the travel channel was just getting started
The husband and I were so glad when we saw that you were back in Uzbekistan! Behruz is such a great co-host and one of our all time favorites. We'd love to see you guys do more videos together in the future. Both of your trips to Uzbekistan were some of our favorites, to the extent that we're now planning a trip there to experience it for ourselves.
You are always welcome, but here is a small hint, the best time to visit is Spring and Autumn. As Summers are too hot, and Winters are cold and not so colorful. However, during Summer you can taste some unbelievably juicy and sweet fruits. Local grapes, strawberries, melons, and pears are my favorite. Local folks are kind, smiling, and hospital year-round.
Love the co-host for this episode, would love to see more episodes with him, he looks like he is having a blast and makes the experience look all the more fun!
Yeah man. I feel like Uzbekistan is meat heaven to me. Cuz I'm a Muslim. There's a lot of place with meat dish from all around the world that i wanna eat but can't. So Uzbekistan is just perfect. Because the food it seems to me is a blend of European, Middle East and Asia.
Bekruz is seriously the best co-host and ambassador for Uzbekistan. Every time we see him he is so loveable. His humour just compliments Sonny perfectly. The fish singing part was 👌
Hands down, this is THE BEST channel on UA-cam. I hope it keeps its soul and thrives through the creator's passions! Wishing you all continued blessings 💖🙏 Thank you for everything and sharing such sacred experiences with us!
I'm from the neighboring Kazakhstan and it was a pleasure to be on this food journey, I've never been to Uzbekistan and our cuisine has many similarities but I still would love to visit this brother nation of mine and try all of this myself, especially the lung milk from the first episode. And yeah I highly recommend you to come to Kazakhstan, even if for a few days! Beshbarmaq, quirdaq, horse meat, sheep head, fermented camel milk we have everything depending on where to Kazakhstan you will go. Yeah sorry for advertising, just would be so excited to see one episode of my favorite food UA-camr in my home country.
I love the preparation of the food. Very clean prep and the ingredients of the food look amazingly delicious! This is definitely a location I'd love to visit ❤️☺️
Usbekistani cuisine is one of the best cusines I have seen in this channel truly the whole series was breathtaking. Definitely plan to travel there some day
The music mixed into everything really pulled this all together. There is nowhere else I want to be right now than at one of those markets eating food.
This has been just such a fun series and Behruz knows his stuff. But... it's also great to see how Sonny makes even an expert like Behruz discover new things and expanding his own knowledge. There is just such a great synergy here and we all benefit!
Am a huge fan of this show love every part of it if you ever want to come to Trinidad 🇹🇹 to film 🎥 I will be honored to take to around and have you try foods you never tried before
Have to say this was one of my favorites for sure. LOVE learning about these out there countries that are not exactly tourist meccas. LOVE this Sonny. Thanks
Wow I'm very surprised to see all different kinds of samsa that I'm not familiar with, even though I am from Uzbekistan. The BEFRS team is doing a really good job!
Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 food are good to the extent in what they food is all about by showing their best rituals, heritage and fragrant dishes that are fresh by hand 💌
Sonny, do you like working alone or having someone there to go over the food at the table?? this guy rocks. you two work good together as far as we can see.
Not gonna lie, after I watched the Uzbekistan chapter I quickly search if there are any Uzbek or Central Asian restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. Luckily, there are such restaurants here and one of these days I am gonna drop by and enjoy myself an Uzbek food.
What a coincidence, just finished watching your old video about Uzbek food filmed 3 years ago, wanted to check your latest videos and again after so long you are BACK!!! Welcome bro again, our doors are always open for you!😉🤜🤛
In Malaysia, catfish is famously cooked with fermented Durian which is called Tempoyak in the local tongue. Although anyone can make it, there is one location that can produce the dish like no other, Temerloh, Pahang. It is mainly because the fish are raised next to the restaurants (literally next to the river), so the cooked fish is very fresh.
something i just realised, is that the type of oil used in these dishes, is never mentioned. i can imagine this affecting the overall taste of dishes; could the type/taste of oil be described in the future too?
Tony was one of my biggest heroes and it has been almost impossible to find someone who even comes close. You Sunny are indeed that man. Thank you so much I know he'd be as bigger fan as I am. R.I.P Anthony (Tony) Bourdain
Man, watching all this delicious food is almost torture! That fish looked so incredible! I'm a few months away from beginning a 6 month motorcycle trip across Europe and Asia specifically to tour food like you do, and I just can't wait, I'm going to eat so much delicious street food!!!
I love how funny Behruz is even though he isn't a native English speaker.....so smart. I always enjoy him and Calvin. Also I alwys appreciate Sonny's immaculate manicures..
