I have a 2022 Tahoe 185S. They changed the Bimini Cover. Now you start the zippers in the middle and end on each side with a snap strap on each side. The only thing was my Bimini was missing the straps to keep it open. I got a set on Amazon.
We completely removed it. So much happier. It only covers the back end of the boat anyway... and if you take people out that just have to be in the shade...everyone ends up in the back. In the end... we don't take people out that don't like the sun and we don't have to step over the damn thing when it is stowed.
I would try leaving you console door open when you aren't using it. It will let moisture dry and escape which is likely what is causing your gages to fog up. I could be wrong but its a thought.
I prop it open when I store it. That definitely helps keep the compartment dryer. The gauges seem to stay clear until about 1/2 hour into use. Then they fog up for a few hours. I turn the nav lights on to help clear them out. It seems to happen mostly on really hot sunny days. From everyone I spoke with that has the same set up, they all experience the same thing.
I have a deposit on the Yamaha 210 FSH but found a 2150 CC at a dealer today and was weighing pros and cons of both boats and this just made me stay with the Yamaha. With 20 hours on the boat, screws shouldn’t be falling out. It’s a shame because The wife was talked into the 2150cc because we could have it tomorrow lol.
I would have jumped on the "tomorrow" deal. BUT, I have also had many other problems and it spent a lot of time getting several not-so-small items fixed. Which meant time in the shop instead of on the lake or river. Covered under warranty, yet still not what a new boat should be.Good luck with yours!
@@MikeSenn64 I’m sorry for your problems! I hope they end and you get more time on the water! I’ll be spending more time in the Salt water as I live in Clearwater, so I think the FSH will suit us better anyway.
Your probably gonna have to change the gauge’s your self and the radio also. And probably get a different kind of top cover. I know you shouldn’t have to. But sometimes it’s better to get the good stuff and get it put in than to keep having to go back to the dealership. The dealership is kinda the middle man. As long as your boat, motor, & trailer is in good condition then the other stuff can be handled. Maybe I’m just looking at it wrong. Idk. Anyway, it’s just a suggestion. Tell me what you think.
Hello, nice video, I saw your video today, good video, I am thinking of buying a tahoe boat, I ask, I have seen like three videos, and they are all in rivers, that type of boat cannot be run in salt water, or something like . Please let me know, P.S. I don't know anything about ships, that's why the question
I took it back to the dealer (Bass Pro Shops) and they ordered a new one. Same problem. I just took the whole Bimini off, as it is more of a nuisance than an attribute. It's in the way whether its rotated forward or back. When it's up, it only covers the rear seats... so everyone that wants shade crams into the back of the boat. Taking the whole thing off was the best move ever. No more problems when I trailer it with the boot flying off, no more in my way. And no more taking people out who don't want to be in the sun!
@@MikeSenn64 I take the cover off when trailering and towing now and stuff it under the sink area. I then bungee the metal bars so they don’t bounce around too much. It’s a pain to take off and put on every time. Something they definitely need to fix. I believe mine blew off in Palm Spring area after only having the boat for 4 months.
Nice to see a real review!
Great video. Just purchased the 2021 Tahoe 1950 deck Boat with Fishing Package. We did a video on it also on our “How to Have Fun Outdoors” channel

The tow bar is not meant for tubing, it's for wake boarding. It will crack the base.

I love mine and haven’t had any of these issues.
can confirm the bimini boot sucks we bought a list S clip from home depot that works well to keep it from unzipping

Thanks for the video. I would definitely expect a better quality.

It can run in coastal salt water but it being a deck boat, I wouldn’t take it off shore.
Same issue with my Bimini boot coming off. I need to obtain a new one in the royal blue color. Any help would be appreciated how you obtained one.

Lowerance is one of the most user friendly easy to use FF on the market dude
Ha! Ripping that thing off my boat and putting a Garmin on was the best upgrade.
safety pin the bimini boot zippers together.problem solved.those bungies got to go.
That sir, is an awesome idea! Iwas using the bread loaf twistee things. That got old.
Wow, within 3 minutes, you convinced me not to buy this boat. Thanks for the video.
What a sexy boat...
