Fleur love the bag. I just saw your twitter post and looked at the comments here. Funny if Mike left for a weekend no one would say I can't believe he left his baby so soon. I say good for you. Hope you had a great time. Motherhood can be tough and we all need time for ourselves. Mom's should be supporting each other not tearing them down.
Candy V agree! I'm a new mum and I definitely think if you can and have help, definitely deserve a break from baby. It doesn't mean you don't love your kid.

Becoming a parent doesn't mean you should lose yourself, enjoy the breaks, Mike is her parent too, so screw people who give you a hard time- you need rest and time to be you again! Hopefully you Were not phased by comments though xx
Agree it's three days with Mike looking after River, I'm not sure why people are so shocked that Fleur feels perfectly comfortable with the father of her child looking after their child

yeah working parents put their kids in daycare, this is even more secure in that its one parent looking after the child, whatever the gender of the parent

Skyebright1 working parents have no choice but to use childcare. They aren’t 1000s of miles away on a shopping trip.
Love the bag! Has a very vintage look to it. And it doesn't look like the typical Chanel nude/black everyone buys.
Great video fleur, such a shame to read the negative comments tho 😔. I don't see any shame in taking a trip with a friend when you have a baby she has a supportive husband and when you become a mother it doesn't mean that's all you are. I remember popping to Tesco where I worked after I had my daughter and everyone was asking me where Ava was and when I told people she was with her dad they actually seemed shocked I'd left my week old daughter with her own father!!! Who may I add are just as capable of caring for a baby. Xx

Rachel I know! My boyfriend is an amazing father and he did everything I did when Ava was a baby and still does now and she's nearly 5. Anyone who has become a mother knows that pregnancy, labour and the first few weeks/months are the most exhausting. You are still more than just parents when you have a child and I just don't understand why fleur has had any negative comments about her taking a trip with a friend. It's so easy to lose yourself in parenthood. Xx

Many moons ago, I bought a yellow Chanel bag for my birthday, I use it religiously for summer and even in winter when I see it, it just reminded me all the fun I had and an instant mood booster. I’m sure you won’t regret it.
I just went through and reported a dozen extremely nasty comments, I encourage others to do the same if they see harassing comments. I'm all for voicing different opinions and providing constructive criticism when necessary, but calling her a bad mother or selfish is entirely below the belt, much less pathologising someone's behaviour over the internet. We can all speak freely, but please consider the fact that there is an actual person on the other side of this scenario.
Kate Mack I completely agree. Just because someone is on UA-cam it does not mean that people have the right to make vile comments. I don't know why people think it's OK. It's pure nastiness and also cowardly. Fleur presents make up and fashion advice. Either enjoy it or move on!

I’m very short at 4’11” and when I wear Chanel WOC, I first crisscross the chain under the flap to shorten the strap and it becomes the perfect length for me to do cross body :)

Oh my god that yellow Chanel bag is beautiful! I didn’t think a wallet on a chain would be very practical but it looks like you could get a lot in it for an evening bag - it would look stunning with the perfect LBD!
Ahhhhh I'm so excited for your yellow Chanel!! I had a bag similar in size, and it was just like what you describe in term of color, somewhere in between bright yellow and mustard. And truuuuuuuuust me, it goes with everything in both summer and winter. It adds a pop of color in summer with white tops paired with light-washed jeans or floral summer dress, and paired nicely with cozy earthy-tone (brown, moss green, etc.) sweaters or coats in the winter. Great choice😍
OK so I can use my $60K Fashion Education and tell you that technically that part of the garment you were referring too is the Armscye or in laymen's terms it is an Armhole...... Now a little of my guilt for spending my parents cash on a degree that I only used for around 3 years is a little less!! I personally don't feel that you should or need to apologise for ANYTHING you purchase with your hard earned dough!!! And even MORE I feel that it is no ones business other than yours and your Husbands, who cares for the child and when, as long as she is being cared for and loved. So you go and buy that Yellow Chanel or that Book or a suitcase full of Sephora and you upload a video about how excited you are!! Life is shorter than anyone under 50 really understands so live and love and embrace what makes you happy and passionate!! Your a kind and gorgeous human so let the haters live their mediocre lives and you continue to shine bright, just like that Chanel baby!!! XOX

I looove that purse! And I really love it with the outfit you have on. When you wear it, I wouldn’t wear anything else with yellow. I think the point of a colorful bag is for it to stylishly clash. When it matches, like with the yellow Anthopologie blouse, it can look grannyish. Clash to compliment but not to clash.

I have found that if you buy a bag that’s not a color you wear in clothes, it works. I wear a lot of blue, black, grey and white. I have a hot pink bag and an orange bag, and they go with everything as a pop of color. So, I think the yellow bag will great!

I can't see all the negative comments, I'm assuming they have been removed, but I can guess exactly what they say. 'How could you leave your baby' 'you shouldn't leave your baby' blah blah blah. Becoming a mum doesn't mean you cease to be a person without your child anymore. In fact, having children is hard work and every mum deserves a break for her mental health if not anything else. Happy mum means happy baby. I'm glad you had a lovely break. Don't ever let anyone make you feel guilty for it x
The yellow bag is gorgeous! Yellow has been my favorite color for years and in my opinion it goes with anything. So a good choice over black/brown/grey. 👍🏻

S Y Khan Hmmmm. I'm a feminist but I don't believe there is any value in "supporting" someone if I disagree with them, just because they are a woman. That's the kind of view that probably warrants criticism from those who are already predisposed to criticise and tear down women/ feminists. I don't care what Fleur buys, but I wouldn't either support or criticise just based on her gender. Someone's actions and attitudes are far more relevent.
As I mentioned women are too quick to judge and be negative to other women... I have no interest in going to New York or buying a designer bag etc.... however I would not make negative comments because someone else has chosen to. I like the way Fleur articulates herself and good on her for continuing to be a mum, partner , working individual... I support that... 😊

Negative comments can be perceived as bullying and nobody wants that. Saying she should shop less (it's a haul!) or that she's a bad mum because she's stopped breastfeeding (really!) is needless.

It's not what I would spend my hard earned on, but she can do what she wants- she has a lot more money than I do, and is entitled to spend it on what she wants. My point is- bringing her gender into it as a reason for other people not to put forward their opinion, as they are totally entitled to do, is a bit silly. Nicola Curtis - the complaint was about women being rude, offensive and nasty to other women. There is never call for this. Most of the comments relate to breastfeeding and leaving her daughter for a couple of days. These are not male issues. Would a man be criticised for a weekend away? Is a women only a good mother if she is breastfeeding? Of course people can comment whatever they want but the threads I'm talking about are unreasonably nasty. I like Fleur's content and that's why I watch. If I don't like something I just switch off. Trolling is bullying.

seriously people need to stop being so negative.. just because she went to a trip doesnt mean she doesnt care about her baby. being a mother doesnt mean spending 24 hours with your baby.. she has a supportive husband who believes taking care of the baby is both parents duty.. going a trip without her baby will not make her baby hate her

Came back to this video after watching it and then going on twitter to see your tweet, wanted to see these judgemental comments for myself.
I tune in to watch you fleur as you are my favourite UA-camr I enjoy pretty much every video you put out, you started as beauty and fashion so why do people now think you'll change all your content to be baby related being a mum doesn't define you? I love your baby videos don't get me wrong but I'm not a mum my self like a lot of your viewers, you will never ever please everyone as you will well know by now. Your content hasn't changed loads no but isn't that why we liked you in the first place for that content? And if anyone thinks it is samey etc comment something constructive like can we see this kind of video instead of slating her for putting up a video, if she didn't put a video up you'd all have something to say. Honestly anyone who is a half decent person will know how hard it is as a parent and that you are doing your best you are entitled to you time and people forget you have a supportive husband who wants that bonding time. Honestly fleur you do you as that's the fleur we all know and love.
